Impeach Bush or Get out of the WAY

Impeach Bush, or get out of the way
Reformer.com

Friday, April 13
There will be a time when future generations will look at us and wonder why President Bush and Vice President Cheney were not removed from office.

They will look at us and question why, when confronted by the most corrupt and incompetent administration ever witnessed in the United States, nothing was done to stop Bush and Cheney.

They will look at the craven behavior of the Democrats, too afraid to take on the president when it mattered. They will look at the Republicans, so intoxicated with power that they backed their president to the hilt, even as he ran this country off a cliff. They will look at the press, and how too many journalists were cowed into parroting the words of the administration. They will look at the voters, and shake their heads in disbelief that a number of Americans voted for all this -- the electoral equivalent of the chickens voting Colonel Sanders president.

And they will look at Vermont, and how a bottom-up impeachment effort with broad support ran into a brick wall of indifference in Montpelier as well as Washington.

History will not look kindly on House Speaker Gaye Symington for her insistence that her chamber must focus on "important matters" and that the House "does not have the time" to deal with impeachment.

History will not look kindly on Senate President Pro Tem Peter Shumlin, who has talked loudly about impeaching Bush and Cheney, but won't pursue the issue as long Symington says no.

Even though an impeachment resolution, like any other Vermont law, can start in either chamber, Shumlin is using decorum and the "we don't have time" argument as an excuse to duck this important issue.

History will not look kindly on Sen. Bernard Sanders, and his successor in the House, Peter Welch, as well as Sen. Patrick Leahy, for treating impeachment as if it were a barrel of toxic waste. Short-term political considerations apparently are more important than the Constitution, which they took an oath to uphold and defend.

Nearly 40 towns voted for impeachment at their town meetings this year. There is little support for Bush, Cheney and the war in Iraq that they lied us into. The list of the administration's failures at home and abroad is long and embarrassing. Yet Symington, Shumlin, Welch, Sanders and Leahy feel no sense of urgency to hold Bush and Cheney accountable.

We believe this is unacceptable and that both the Vermont Legislature and Congress are shirking their responsibilities. There is time to deal with impeachment and we believe nothing is more important.

When the story of our time is written by future historians, there will be but one question asked: When confronted with the malevolence and mendacity of the Bush administration, how did the people in positions to do something about it react?

Does Vermont want to go down in the history books as standing up to the worst president ever? We, the people of Vermont, have the chance to affect the outcome of this story. We must seize this opportunity.

Gravatar Most American need to realize that it started in Florida 2000. This nation should have thrown out any political leader that did not rush to abolish the Electoral College.

Gravatar It appears there are still alot of people in Vermont that don't understand we are at war and that you are actually the terrorist enablers.

First of all, 2000 came and went seven years ago, get over it.

Second, President Bush was elected by more popular votes than anyone before (four million more than voted for Kerry) in 2004 so the misinformed individual that thought the electoral college should have been abolished would still have Mr. Bush for their president.

I hope someday the people in Vermont will wake up and smell the coffee. Right now you all are made to look like chicken little and you have elected US Senators that will try to convince the rest of America that that's who you really are.

Rest easy Vermont, the rest of the country will protect you.

Gravatar Rebut to above tripe:
Namecalling is soooo Don Imus right now, Tom.
Terrorist enablers?
Did you actually type that with a straight face? You think Al-Qaida is reading the Brattleboro newspaper looking for moral support?
I hardly know where to begin, so how about a list:
1) You just proved the veracity of the statement in the editorial about chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.

2) Terrorists are fanatics. Fanatics don't need moral support, Tom. That's what makes them fanatical.

3) Terrorists are enabled by a number of things, like readily available weapons. (pop quiz, Tom - who exports the most weapons in the world? Who swept into Iraq with insufficient forces to secure hundreds of tons of Saddam's munitions, which went missing and have been killing our troops ever since? Bonus - who supplied Saddam with the majority of his weapons for years and years?). And before you sputter about Iran, the insurgency is almost entirely Sunni, the Iranians are Shiite, and the two are mortal enemies in Iraq right now. Iran is NOT supplying them with weapons. That's another of your hero's lies meant to disinform a gullible public (it worked on you, didn't it?) and to start another war.

Terrorists are also enabled by a perverted ideology mutated from Islam that embraces an 'ends justify the means' methodology. Much like your Republican party has mutated from a once-respectable school of thought to a power-at-all-costs den of corruption unparalleled in American political history.

Another motivation for Islamic radicals is an extensive history of exploitation by the West, first in colonization and later in oil. When your hero Bush waded into Iraq on false pretenses, this played right into the assumption that the US is after Iraqi oil (and the pending Iraqi oil law, which takes the oil from the Iraqis and gives it to Exxon, proves them right.)

Those prejudices are also easily inflamed, enabling more terrorists, when the US engages in wholesale torture of the people of Iraq.

Then there's enabling by refusing to secure ports, chemical and nuclear plants, the phony 'security theater' at airports, the Real ID act, the Patriot Act, and countless other examples.

Let's not forget the endless stream of inflammatory language from the worst president ever that started with "Axis of Evil" and has never let up. Remember "bring it on" Tom? It's pretty enabling to dare a bunch of fanatics who want to die for their misguided cause. It's also incredibly stupid.

So your feeble attempt at smearing this paper's patriotic call to action as enabling the enemy is transparently FEAR.
FEAR of your fellow citizens who might upset your comfortable assumptions that 'the other' is out to get you.
Oh, and we are not at war. War must be declared by congress, and congress did no such thing. Also, your underlying assumption that "in time of war, dissent is unpatriotic" is so un-American it turns my stomach.

How dare you say such an insulting thing. Millions of Americans who died in JUST wars to preserve that precious, precious right. And you would erase it to save your own assumptions from a challenge you should embrace. Shame on you.

As for the nonsequitur about 2000, "let it go" is a phrase I'd like to hear the next time one of you neocons starts howling about Clinton. Furthermore, your next statement about the popular vote falls on its face when moved from 2004 to 2000. Gore won the popular vote in 2000. So by your twisted logic, Little George would never have had his chance to degrade, defame, and embarrass America.

And you clearly didn't read or comprehend the editorial above. You say we elected Senators that will perpetuate the "Chicken Little" image you put out (but don't substantiate).
Um, Tom, the POINT of the editorial is that our State and Federal representatives are stonewalling the call for impeachment that a highly informed and active citizenry is calling for. Namecalling (again) won't make it (or us) go away.

There are over a dozen articles of impeachment for George Bush detailing a long list of offenses against the Constitution, and none of them has anything to do with his pathetic record of fighting terrorists. (Where's Osama? Oh, right, according to Bush, "we're not all that concerned about him".)

Last, may the Constitution save us from the "protection" you pretend to offer. All I've seen is infringements of the rights of citizens mislabeled as protecting us.

America has lost a vast amount of international influence under the reign of Bush. We have lost thousands of our soldiers in a fool's cause in Iraq, while training terrorists in how to kill American troops. Our military is breaking down under the strain of fighting someone else's endless civil war.
All of that is your president's fault.
But none of that is impeachable.
Breaking the Geneva Convention on torture, illegally spying on American citizens, denying due legal process to Americans under arrest, lying in the 2003 SOTU address to Congress, and several more offenses ARE.

The country is SICK of Bush's misdeeds. 2006 was only the beginning. Look at American history. There is an excellent chance we will have a Democratic president in '08.
Do you really want, say, Hillary Clinton to have unchecked power over you? Because without redress, the Bush template of "Dictator in all but Name" will be an established precedent. Maybe she will continue the illegal practices of the current regime, and even add some, since Bush made it OK to "lose" all incriminating evidence of wrongdoing, fire those who balk, install political operatives throughout the judiciary, and deny clearance to investigators.

You've fallen for the best hoax in history, but rest easy, Tom, there are still many patriots in America. We'll take care of our country.

Gravatar Thank you Brattleboro Reformer for writing the truth, for calling citizens and legislators to awaken from their long coma under the weight of the somnolent Elephantine party formerly in power.

Let's hope there's action enough in time to save the Constitution and our country from the depredations of the "current resident" of the White House and his gang of thugs and thieves.

Gravatar Living in London by way of West Chesterfield, one hears daily comments about America from a wide assortment of residents both from England and the rest of Europe. How utterly depressing to hear how disgraced we have become because of the behavior and policies of Bush and his administration. I applaud the Brattleboro Reformer and those like Ken and Euan who speak their mind and, when the opportunity appears, will act on their feelings and vote any and every politician who sides with Bush out of office.

Gravatar I'm very happy to see this editorial. On the other hand, I'm severely disappointed in our elected representatives, particularly Shumlin and Symington. They may backpedal, blame the voters, claim they had no time, etc. However, in the end result, they show no regard for their constituency. We should show that same disregard throughout their terms, and when we next go to the polls. With today's article, a new level of disgust with Shumlin chokes me. How dare he? Does he think he's above us all? His attitude is appalling. Remember we put you there, Pete, and we'll kick you out, too.

Gravatar Some people (particularly politicians) need to have things crystalized for them.

Go back to Speaker Symington and the rest and ask them how they can, in good conscience, defend and remain complicit with the ongoing torture at Gitmo (and Lord knows how many other places still).

Remind them that failure to report -- and ACT to stop -- war crimes is a war crime in itself. That as government officials they are risking being held liable (a decision no one in this country gets to make) for their rationalized inaction.

You need only provide them the USSC Hamdan ruling to stop any quibbling about whether or not the Geneva Conventions have been violated (also a federal crime under US Code Title 18,2441). Point out that no "investigation" is required here -- as it has already been adjudicated. Ask them what exactly are the more "important matters" than not remaining a War Criminal Nation by their tacit approval.

Then offer them a few bucks for all the mirrors in their homes -- as you couldn't imagine looking into one if you were one of the "good men doing nothing" while time was running out to possibly Redeem Our National Soul.

Sir, how can you even begin to defend a 'Commander-In-Chief' who not only cuts troop benefits while employing very highly paid 'civilian contractors', but has no exit plan, after-war costs payment plan, in fact, no real plan excepting the continuation of depredation?
And, sir, I enlisted in the service in February of 1969. The height of a little scrape called Viet Nam, if you recall. Don't even suggest my criticizing this stupidity is unpatriotic. To NOT criticize it would be that, sir.

Gravatar Since the politicians don't seem to get it, on April 28 tens of thousands of Americans will spell it out for them: IMPEACH!

From giant "human murals" to skywriting over the New Orleans Jazzfest to guerrilla light shows to banner drops inside the California Democratic Convention, people will literally spell out the word "IMPEACH!" in all sorts of creative ways. Help kick off Impeachment Summer by joining an action or starting one of your own!

The A28 campaign has been launched by dozens of groups, including the Green Party, Progressive Democrats of America, Code Pink, the National Lawyers Guild, Gold Star Families for Peace, and more. On April 11, United for Peace and Justice issued a statement welcoming the growing movement to impeach Bush and Cheney, and encouraging their members to incorporate impeachment efforts into their antiwar agenda. Actions are being organized nationwide, and new ones are being added daily.

Gravatar Bravo for this article.People need to review what that great president FDR did for the country. He and his wife did more for our country than all the presidents since. When you read FDR's speeches, you have a man who inspired others, believed in the righteous might of the American people, instilled hope and confidence in them and unified the country. Then read the fear ridden and negative statements of Bush. He and Hitler identical in many ways. While I'm at it, are you aware of the 580 Billion Dollar embassy being built along the Tigris River? 15 ft walls, movie theater, will employ thousands, an apartment complex, etc. They are over there to control the Middle East. And.....sucking the US dry to achieve this goal. Would love to know how many Americans and Congressmen are over there making money in the blood of those poor Iraqi people. How blind is everyone to think these actions will not reap terrible events in the future in our counry. We will pay dearly for Bush and Co's evil. We engaged in Genocide of the Native Americans/ we have done it again to the iraqi people. Vermont is a GREAT state!
IMPEACH! You've been pioneers and progressive since Day One. I don't live there, but my son does. I admire your people and state. Lead the way! Bravo!

Gravatar This is an excellent article. What makes it so good, is that it directly addresses the issues that are so important to this country. The majority of citizens realize that serious crimes have been commited by the Bush Administration. Congress is supposed to represent the citizens. If congress sees that crimes have taken place, it is their duty to IMPEACH those who have commited the crimes. To do less would be a violation of the oath they swore to uphold the constitution. IMPEACH THE ENTIRE BUSH ADMINISTRATION NOW!

Gravatar Greetings from Texas, the living laboratory of the radical right, the state that brought you George Bush, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

None of them served, Mr. Moore, and we are dying for them to protect us.

So where do we rank among all 50 states in quality of life. Let's look at a few. We are 1st in percentage of uninsured children. 1st in percentage of population without health insurance. 1st in air pollution emissions. 1st in pollution released by manufacturing plants. 1st in amount of green house gases released. 1st in toxic chemicals released into water. 1st in executions, and 1st in number of gun shows. 2nd in overall birthrate. 3rd in percentage of population living below the Federal poverty level. (Thank God for Mississippi!) 47th in SAT scores. And dead last, 50th out of 50 states, in percentage of population over 25 with a high school diploma.

In fact, we probably have more stupid, uneducated individuals than the entire state of Vermont has people. And it all started with Bush, Cheney and Rove.

Yes sir, Mr. Moore, from Beaumont to El Paso and Amarillo to Brownsville, life is good for people like you. So c'mon on down. You'll fit right in.

Gravatar Those that have responded with your
arrogant, condescending, elitist views are the same people who elected the likes of socialists Leahy and Sanders. You must be so proud. You have created a generation of wondering do-nothings in Vermont. Before you preach to the world what you think is right, start cleaning your own house and elect those that foster self responsibility. Responsibility for oneself doesn't come from the government.

I can’t even come close to knowing what out troops must be going through in Iraq and Afghanistan. Unfortunately, neither do you, Ken & company.

The liberals in this country routinely remind us all how many of our troops have died serving our country. Every new big number warrants a new story and fancy graphics. The left proudly displays that number. Will anyone in the media tell me how many of the enemy our troops have killed? When is CBS, NBC, ABC, and CNN going to give us that number, complete with fanfare? As the object of most wars is to win, and the easy way of judging success is in the body count of our enemy, why haven’t we heard this number? Are we even going to? The answer is 210,000 on the low end to 360,000 on the high end. This is an entire generation of jihadists.

Considering the side that kills the most has the easier path to victory, how can Democrats say we’re losing without telling us what the score is? Are we really losing? How many times have we had to retreat during a battle? Why are we at home being told you’re not able to get the job done?

The Democrats considered their recent electoral victory a referendum on the war that they say we are losing. They consider our troops actions futile and we need to bring them home now. Our troops know what’s going on over there. Some who’ve visited say that we’re not hearing the whole story; their many successes, and hearing about the people in Iraq whose lives we've touched by our liberation. Thus my disgust for people who think so less of our troops and their potential. Some of you take all that is life for granted. You go with the comfort of knowing that a roadside bomb won’t go off in the parking lot. There are some you that take freedom for granted, as you know a crackpot won’t detonate himself and a pack of ball bearings inside the local WallMart. There are way too many of you who go through life thinking nothing bad will ever happen to you and our troops sacrifice is the last explanation that enters your narcissistic brains.

Many who went to work on September 11, 2001 sure as hell felt safe that morning. Will someone in the media tell me how many of the people who aided and supported the hijackers’ mission are dead today, never to return for an encore? It certainly won't be the Reformer.

I support the Men and Women of the United States Armed Forces. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. We are not the ruthless killers of men, women and children, the Islam extremists are. You point to single incidents and try to shame the proud and honest US soldier. You can do that from your ivory tower. Remember however, that you rise and sleep under the blanket of the freedom that our troups have and continue to provide. Many of you wish our soldiers death so you can point your fingers in all of our faces and tell us you were right. It’s all about you. Would you have the guts to trade places with our troops, or stay at home and protest on streets our troops are keeping safe? If our troops are victorious, you will be forever stained as cowards who not only devalued our efforts, but could give a damn of the sure slaughter of possibly millions of Iraqis that would occur upon our evacuation.

So Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her colleagues have decided to issue a timetable to the Iraqi government. Who does she think she is? Does Speaker Pelosi and her Democrat brethren risk assassination by car bomb or semi-automatic machinegun fire on a daily basis?

While travelling in Switzerland and calling America a social outcast, is John Kerry supporting our troops or putting a bullseye on everyone of their heads? Once we leave the region with the insurgency still intact, who will be sent in next to resolve the failed diplomacy, France?

Let's ask our troops; Do you think the people shooting rocket-propelled grenades, and rigging bombs under dead bodies, are ready to sit down and talk? These people are willing to blow up their own children to defeat “The Great Satan.” So we should sit down and talk with them? You first, Senator Kerry.

Those who use our troops for their own political gain are below the elements that make up dirt. They recite and teach children to recite such nonsense as “Bush lied, people died.” They pound their chests while declaring we went to Iraq looking for weapons of mass destruction that were never there. I believe President Bush when he sent our troops to find them. It’s a shame that while the UN, distracted by Germany, France, and Russia, stalled in enforcing one of more than a dozen resolutions, the dearly departed Saddam Hussein probably hid them in Syria. It would seem Saddam knew how to play our liberals after all.

They claim that President Bush deliberately sent our troops into battle with inadequate training and equipment. Wars were historically fought on battlefields between nations in uniform. This battle is different. We are fighting representatives from many nations who wear no distinguishable clothing, and shoot not on a battlefield, but in cities, in homes, behind woman and children. If our troops were initially prepared to fight this kind of war, the left would have called our troops savages.

Our greatest impediment is our politicians and their media’s willingness to alert our enemy to our every move, including reinforcements. You revel in your self-importance and in your arrogance forget the enemy watches ESPN and CNN. Have you seen enemy media declaring they are losing, while it’s probably the truth? Have we seen their leaders forced to state to their nation what the next strategy would be?

When another Democrat tells us that our troops are there because our Commander-in-Chief lied about the existance, thus the initial mission to find and destroy Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction, remember this…

“One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line.” President Bill Clinton, February 4, 1998

Two weeks later Clinton added…. “If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program.” And remember this…. “Iraq is a long way from here, but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face.”
Secretary of State Madeline Albright, February 18, 1998

And this….

“He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983.” National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, February 18, 1998, referring to Saddam Hussein

And this….

“We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.” Democrat senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John F. Kerry, and others in a letter to President Clinton on October 9, 1998

And finally….

“Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process. The responsibility of the United States in this conflict is to eliminate weapons of mass destruction, to minimize the danger to our troops and to diminish the suffering of the Iraqi people.” Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, December 16, 1998

The dates are included as these statements were made years before George W. Bush was elected President of the United States. Most believed those weapons were there and said as much. They are lying now to a memory-challenged media who wants us to lose as much as the enemy.

People who play soldiers in movies consider themselves experts in diplomacy, strategy, and actual warfare. As you well know, al Qaeda is not shooting blanks and reading a script as was just seen in the "green zone." While this is real for our troops, some in the safety back home lament their daily routines, thus they hold up signs and listen to the wisdom of Tim Robbins and Jane Fonda. Unfortunately this war will never be over until we kill enough of the enemy there and shame those who use our troops for political gain here.

I'd be interested to know how many of you have donated to Military causes such as the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund or the Fisher House. My guess is none.

Gravatar To Jim at 9:47 p.m.:

Greetings. From one Texan to another - unas preguntas por favor.

1. "Self responsibility", hmmm. When did Bush, Cheney or Rove last take responsibility for their actions? Do you have any idea why all three avoided military service? Why didn't Bush serve out his non-combat assignment with the Texas Air National Guard? You know, the one that allowed him to avoid duty in Vietnam, the one that liberal Democrat Lt. Gov. Ben Barnes got him? What's his explanation for basically ...well ...deserting?

2. Who is "the enemy" you are so exercised about?

3. I've given to the Fisher House in San Antonio, but could you please identify what branch of the armed forces you personally served in and the date and location of your last deployment.

4. Where do you live? North of Dallas, in Collin County (my pick) or down by Houston, in Harris or Ft. Bend counties? The Park Cities or Rockwall, maybe? And are you in favor of locating the Bush Library at SMU? Because, as you know, most of the faculty isn't.

Gravatar Jim you made quite a post.. now tell us where the WMDs are that Bush promised, and the connections to Al Quida that were supposed to be there and which you, by your remarks apparently still believe and then explain how long we are going to have to fight to end the battle that has been going on for 14 centuries beween Sunnis and Sheites and what it will take to bring these two groups together in a democratic Iraq..and one more thing Jim,what if Iraq decided to side with Iran? What then?

And let me address the issue of denying Sadam the means to produce WMDs ( while apparently allowing others to proceed) You quote a lot of people but what you forgot to point out is that EVERYONE OF YOUR QUOTED STATEMENTS COMES FROM A PERIOD BEFORE THE FIRST GULF WAR...and you also forget how many people pleaded with Bush to allow the UN inspectors to finish their work. They were on the ground and no WMDs were found so a sensible President, who did not have his eyes on becomming a "wartime President" would have allowed more time for inspections. But the real truth as can be seen from a variety of sources is that Bush never wanted anything other than a war and was hell bent on justifying one regardless of what Sadam did or did not do..

Well Bush got a war alright.just not the cheap and easy one he bargained for.

Blanks and Charges

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you. For the record, save your pennies if I've known you longer than thirty years. Out of respect for you and your family I'll leave your names out. Out of respect for you and your family I have remained silent. Apparently this same respect was not inbred in you. That's a pity but you and yours are safe with me. The ones who took it upon themselves to do your bidding against an innocent family are wide open just like they've left MY family wide open. Herewith I refer to my extended family and network many of whom are currently suffering at your hands. Be on notice.

.....
In my living room watching;
but I am not laughing ....

..... risk something, take back what's yours
say something that you know they might attack you for
cause I'm sick of being treated like I have before ....
...
Meanwhile, the leader just talks away
Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay
And the rest of the world watching at the end of the day

In their living room laughing like,

"what did he say?"

Reverend William Sloane Coffin

......" And I dare you to ask for a lot, I dare you to hold fast to your ideals and to expound them as publicly and as fearlessly as Martin Luther King and Bill Coffin and Betty Friedan and those dozens of grandmothers arrested a few weeks ago for protesting the war in Iraq."

Never Mistake Kindness for Weakness
I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among those without dreams and desires. Kahlil Gibran
Every man dies.

Not every man really lives.

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends...... Martin Luther King, Jr.

Contrary to popular belief:

Patience is NOT a virtue.

It is concentrated strength.
"The pioneers of a warless world are the young men (and women) who refuse military service."

"Only those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly" – Robert Kennedy
"Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation…want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters…. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will." Frederick Douglass, 1857
Tis nobler to lose honor to save the lives of men than it is to gain honor by taking them.

About Me

Vox Populi
ANYWHERE, ANYWHERE LOL, United States
I was born a citizen of the world and have remained such but along with that: I'm a long time Tampa resident. Mixed bag at that as I've seen life here from nearly all angles and while somewhere in there I became slightly indoctrinated, I'm not too proud of the way people have taken over this city and run it with an iron fist for all but some. This city is working hard on creating just two classes. Thems and them dont's and they are working hard to shove some families down into the gutter for reasons known only to them. Some might be as petty as jealousy, some might be politically motivated, some might just be stupid and all are wrong. I want to believe we can get better but that would entail some stuff that I have no control over. I only can control myself and my reactions to what occurs.
