The above is a misspelling from the site so if I correct it the link won't fly. Maybe Molly will forgive.

Smelly Smelly Stuff Needs Air

More of my own personal drama AND Two important things here (refer to this post, please .. sorry for any confusion) that thus far have not received adequate attention:Debtor's Prison: Tommy brought this up and this is something that I have begun to speak up against (along with prison reform) because America in general is moving back towards 'debtors' prisons' which we know our founding fathers were adamantly against. (these illegal foreclosures, the changes in the bankruptcy laws with this regime; making it easier to lose your home and harder to protect yourself, the blatant stealing of properties and homesteads from people by eminent domain and other discriminatory means)
This young woman essentially was charged with being a debtor. It's way WAY more than a clerical error. And thanks again, for the attention to this, Tommy. Very astute that you pointed out the debt was the problem.
I also say bullshit on the clerical error and thumbs up to someone in her county probably doesn't like someone in her family. That's how it works in FL and other places. There's a small chance it's a clerical error but .... come on, we're all thinkers here.
The second point: (covered briefly and succinctly and humorously by some above) NO ONE should have to be telling the fearless leaders/enforcers/wannabes/thugs what an ETHIC R. Ethics, my friends is that sport you learn on the playground and/or from your folks. It's also a requirement of any degree from any college. Mel Martinez had to hire an ethics-etician because he has no idea what an ethic R. As well, he's more interested in saving the Puerto Rican rain-forest than the quality of life for you, me and the homeless. Does this mean he does not have a college degree?
NO ONE in a position of public trust should have to go, "derrr, should I arrest this woman right after she was forcibly dragged away and raped???" And then call out a superior who affirms and etc.. WTF??
Supposedly, (HAHAHA) these people are in these positions because they are the best people that applied for these jobs. Some of them lured from other states supposedly they're so dang good. After you finish your hearty laugh go ask a seven year old the same question this cop asked her superior. Take a poll if you like. I asked mostly ten year olds but I think seven year olds could get it. And younger.
And we're sposed to be all PROUD because they changed a policy? Don't forget it's election time and we can't have bad stuff going on, can we? ohhhhhhhh The unfortunate timing for the PTB but lucky for this girl or she'd have been swept under the leaves like so much yesterday's news.
How about I'm still all sick because the heartlessness of the persons involved?? People that might come to my house one day or that my family might call for whatever illustrious help they offer. One after the other and WOMEN, each one of them. Like I said before, the chicks in Hillsborough County employment (not all but they know who they are and aren't -- so, no offense to you wunderkinds we're truly lucky to have) ... should be better bargainers. They're buying the farm instead of representing women in the work force. A woman brings what she brings and a man brings what he brings and sorry, but we ARE different and that's a good thing, IMO.
I also think it's pretty hysterical that the st pete times and the TT (lies printed daily) are having a tit for tat in this. TT uses the old discretion of an officer thing and then St Pete publishes a bit of an old subject but takes it from that same Supervisor chose not to arrest
The deputy who stopped Lt. James Martone was uncomfortable and called for assistance.
Does this sound familiar? HAHA check it out, it
gets worse.
Okay, I laughed my fine ass off.

Maybe some of the people follow me because I'm fine (j/k) but that does not explain the TPD officer who tried to play smash em up derby with me yesterday at the Auto Parts Store on Florida. (and yeah I'll be blogging it with his id) He had to lurk there for fifteen minutes while I went back and forth talking to my bud and taking my time on a pretty day ... All so he could play like he was going to ram my car and scare me. ... imagine that the cops just lurk for some people in Tampa. I'm not the only one because I'm not the only one with valuable property here.
Joel, I would be interested (ohhhh so interested) in hearing about your vendetta with the TPD but in my case (and only to clarify) it's no vendetta on my part. They brought this action to my attention in an attempt to steal my property for the Shitty of Tampa. They know it. They ALL know who I am. I am the most followed woman in the Tampa Bay Area. (sorry to rachel*, I cede to the fact that you have a MUCH bigger fan club; my stalkers aren't really fans, but sometimes I turn them into fans and then they have to be replaced with new .... whatevers they are ... units. New units. ) Not entirely because I'm hot but because I have a HOT HOT HOT property and it is worth millions of dollars) Sorry this is a long post, maybe I should have kept it at my blog. I hope the tags work. I've been on automatica with tags and html for so long that I've quite forgotten how to be ... smart with html. My apologies in advance if it is irritating gobbledy gook and thanks for listening ....

Know Where you Stand and Stand There

"Peacemaking is not only a central characteristic of the Gospel,
peacemaking is the greatest need of the world today.
We are the daughters and sons of God,
and that means we are called to be peacemakers."

Philip Berrigan
October 5, 1923 - December 6, 2002

I guess I should mention that I don't embrace any particular religion and in fact, I believe that religion is a huge impediment to faith. Another way to divide people. Another way to drive hatred.

This is long. Skip to the bottom third if you're pressed for time. It's about America. We need to adhere to the policy of the dream.

You can build a castle in the sky
My friend
You can withstand the rushing wind
Don't let the vision pass you by
My friend
Keep the dream that's always been
--- Mark Frankenberg
(this song is on his site and it's actually quite pretty)

To hell with the policies of hiding the homeless, pushing down those less mean than yourself, subjecting your beloved children to gang behavior so they can sit in a classroom all day learning to the FCAT (left over from JEB) with their teachers UNfree to make their own decisions under this regime.
My beloved Grandpa tried to tell me that the people who have run our country in this direction are thugs and with my soft and naive ways, I could not force myself to believe in the evil of a (hu)man's heart. And now I am confronted with it and .... suffice to say, ever since the words "you're with us or you're against us" were uttered, I have spent MAD time displaying the side I reside on. If I'd been a Republican with this same heart, I'd be the same. In fact, I'm non-partisan.

I don't have time to do the research I need to do for my next five blog subjects. But, I'm going to have to throw them out there, anyway. Besides my personal drama, the agenda of the NeoCons seems to be to toss something out there that needs to be 'dealt with' all the time. Then a smokescreen.
Once upon a time, a brilliant FBI agent taught me something extremely valuable: When they're trying hard to get your attention look all around to see what they're up to. So stay YOUR OWN course and stick up for America and our beloved Constitution. She cannot defend herself.

We Stand Our Ground
by William Rivers Pitt, August 10, 2003

Keynote Speech at the Veterans for Peace National Convention in San Francisco

I must begin by saying that standing here before you is, simply, one of the greatest honors of my life. I have never served in the armed forces in any capacity. My father, however, did. He volunteered for service in Vietnam in 1969. The changes that war wrought upon him have affected, for both good and ill, every single day of my life. Vietnam did not only affect the generation that served there. It affected the children of those who served there, and the families of those who served there. That war is an American heirloom, great and terrible simultaneously, handed down from father to son and from mother to daughter, from father to daughter and from mother to son. The lessons learned there speak to us today, almost thirty years hence.

Let me tell you a quick story about my father. His call to the freedom bird came while he was still out in the field. He arrived at Dulles Airport to meet my mother still dressed in his bush greens, still wearing the moustache, with the mud of Vietnam still under his fingernails and stuck inside the waffle of his boot sole.

A few days earlier, he had come across a beautiful old French rifle. It was given to him by a Vietnamese friend, a former teacher with three children who had been conscripted permanently into the military. My father managed to bring this rifle home with him, and sent it on the flight in the baggage hold along with his duffel.

My father and my mother stood waiting at the baggage claim for his things to come down. The people there - and this was 1970, remember - backed away from him as if he was radioactive. They knew where he had just come from. If the greens were not a giveaway, the standard issue muddy tan he and all the vets wore upon return from Vietnam was. When the rifle came down the belt, not in a package or a box, just laying there in all its reality, the crowd was appalled and horrified. My mother and father looked at each other and wondered what these people were thinking. What did they think was happening over there? What did they think it is that soldiers do? Did they even begin to understand this war, and what it meant, what it was doing to American soldiers, to the Vietnamese soldiers like my father's friend, and to the civilians caught in the crossfire?

The looks on those people's faces there said enough. The answer was no. They didn't know, and apparently didn't want to know. Now, thirty three years later, we are back in that same place again, fighting a war few understand that is affecting soldiers and civilians in ways only those soldiers and civilians can truly know. Ignorance, it seems, is also an American heirloom to be passed down again and again and again.

Many of you know, far better than I do, what my father felt that day in Dulles. That is why I am honored to speak to you tonight. If the American people fully knew what this war in Iraq was really about, if they fully knew what it means today to be a soldier in that part of the world, they would tear the White House apart brick by brick. If the people had but a taste of the horror and the lies, they would repudiate this administration and all it stands for. The don't know, because they have been fed a glutton's diet of misinformation and fraud. Changing that is why we are here.

The first of August saw a very interesting article published in the Washington Post. The title was, "US Shifts Rhetoric On its Goals in Iraq." The story quotes an unnamed administration source - I will bet you all the money in my wallet that this "source" was a man named Richard Perle - who outlined the newest reasons for our war over there. "That goal is to see the spread of our values," said this aide, "and to understand that our values and our security are inextricably linked."

Our values. That's an interesting concept coming from a member of this administration. We make much of the greatness and high moral standing of the United States of America, and there is much to be proud of. The advertising, however, has lately failed completely to match up with the product.

Is it part of our value system to remain on a permanent war footing since World War II, shunting money desperately needed for human services and education into a military machine whose very size and expense demands the fighting of wars to justify its existence?

Is it part of our value system to lie to the American people, to lie deeply and broadly and with no shame at all, about why we fight in Iraq?

Is it part of our value system to sacrifice nearly three hundred American soldiers on the altar of those lies, to sacrifice thousands and thousands and thousands of innocent civilians in Iraq on the altar of those lies?

Is it part of our value system to use the horror of September 11 to terrify the American people into an unnecessary war, into the ruination of their civil rights, into the annihilation of the Constitution?

Is it part of our value system to use that terrible day against those American people who felt most personally the awful blow of that attack?

Is striking first part of our value system?

Is living in fear part of our value system?

It is not part of my value system. It never will be.

This new justification for our war in Iraq is yet another lie, an accent in a symphony of lies. The values this administration represents play no part in the common morality of the American people, play no part in the legal and constitutional system we adore and defend. One of the worst things ever to happen to this country was allowing the people within this administration to use words like "freedom" and "justice" and "democracy" and "patriotism," for those good and noble words become the foulest of lies when passing their lips.

For the record, the justification for war on Iraq was:

The procurement by Iraq of uranium from Niger for use in a nuclear weapons program, plus 26,000 liters of anthrax, 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin, 500 tons of sarin, mustard and VX nerve agents - 500 tons, for those without calculators, is one million pounds - almost 30,000 munitions capable of delivering chemical agents, several mobile biological weapons labs, and connections between the Iraqi regime and al Qaeda that led directly to the attacks of September 11.

None of these weapons have been found. The mobile weapons labs - termed "Winnebagoes of Death" by Colin Powell - turned out to be weather balloon platforms sold to Iraq by the British in the 1980s. The infamous Iraq-al Qaeda connection has been shot to pieces by the recently released September 11 report. And the Niger uranium claim was based upon forgeries so laughable that America stands embarrassed and ashamed before the judgment of the world. This is all featured on the White House's website on a page called 'Disarming Saddam.' The Niger claims, specifically, have yet to be removed.

Lies. Lies. All lies.

That Washington Post story, however, reveals a deeper truth here. Now that the original and terrifying claims to justify this war have been proven to be utterly and completely phony - Niger recently asked for an apology, by the way - the administration is falling back upon the justification for war that these men have been formulating for years and years and years.

They call it Pax Americana, a plan to invade Iraq, take it over, create a permanent military presence there, and use the oil revenues to fund further wars against virtually every nation in that region. This we call bringing our "values" over there. Norman Podhoretz, one of the ideological fathers of this group of neoconservatives who now control the foreign policy of this nation, described the process as "The reformation and modernization of Islam." That's a pretty fancy phrase. I am a Catholic, and can therefore call it by its simpler name: Crusade. We know all about those.

This is the Project for a New American Century, the product of a right-wing think tank that, in 1997, was considered so far out there that no one ever thought its members would ever come within ten miles of setting American policy. One broken election, however, vaulted these men into positions of unspeakable power. Their white papers, their dreams of empire at the point of the sword, have become our national nightmare, and the nightmare of the world. I speak of Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, John Bolton, Lewis Libby, and the rest of these New American Century men who have taken our beloved country and all it stands for it and thrown it down into the mud.

You will note that I did not name George W. Bush, for blaming Bush for the gross misadministration of this government is like blaming Mickey Mouse when Disney screws up. He is not in charge. Truman said "The buck stops here," and so we point to Bush as a symbol of all that has gone wrong. But he is not in charge. These other men, these New American Century men, have delivered us to this wretched estate, and by God in Heaven, there will be a reckoning for it.

But is it all ideology for these men? Of course not. There is the payout. Have you ever heard of a company called United Defense, out of Arlington, Virginia? Let me introduce you. United Defense provides Combat Vehicle Systems, Fire Support, Combat Support Vehicle Systems, Weapons Delivery Systems, Amphibious Assault Vehicles, and Combat Support Services. Some of United Defense's current programs include:

The Bradley Family of Fighting Vehicles, the M113 Family of Fighting Vehicles, the M88A2 Recovery Vehicle, the Grizzly, the M9 ACE, the Composite Armored Vehicle, the M6 Linebacker, the M4 Command and Control Vehicle, the Battle Command Vehicle, the Paladin, the Future Scout and Cavalry System, the Crusader, Electric Gun Technology/Pulse Power, Advanced Simulations and Training Systems, and Fleet Management. This list goes on and on, and includes virtually everything an eternal war might need.

Who owns United Defense? Why, the Carlyle Group, which bought United Defense in October of 1997. For those not in the know, the Carlyle Group is a private global investment firm. Carlyle is the eleventh largest defense contractor in the US because of its ownership of companies making tanks, aircraft wings and other equipment. Carlyle has ownership stakes in 164 companies which generated $16 billion in revenues in the year 2000 alone. The Carlyle Group does not provide investment or other services to the general public.

Who works for the Carlyle Group? George Herbert Walker Bush works for the Carlyle Group, has been a senior consultant for Carlyle for some years now, and sits on the Board of Directors. This company is profiting wildly from this war in Iraq, a tidy gift from son to father.

And then, of course, there is Dick Cheney's Halliburton, profiting in the millions from the oil in Iraq. Halliburton subsidiary, Brown & Root, is also in Iraq. Their stock in trade is the building of permanent military bases. Here is your permanent military presence in Iraq, and all for an incredible fee. Cheney still draws a one million dollar annual check from Halliburton, what they call a 'deferred retirement benefit.' In Boston, we call that a paycheck.

Pax Americana. That which President Kennedy spoke so eloquently and specifically against when he said, "What kind of a peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced upon the world by our weapons of war." This is now the rule of law for this nation. It must be stopped, and we must be the ones to stop it.

This is America. At bottom, America is a dream, an idea. You can take away all our roads, our crops, our people, our cities, our armies - you can take all of that away, and the idea will still be there as pure and great as anything conceived by the human mind. I do very much believe that the idea that is America stands as the last, best hope for this world. When used properly, it can work wonders.

That idea, that dream, is in mortal peril. You can still have all our roads, our crops, our people, our cities, our armies - you can have all of that, but if you murder the idea that is America, you have murdered America itself in a way that ten thousand September 11ths could never do. The men and women within this current administration are murdering the idea that is America with their Patriot Acts, their destruction of civil liberties, their lies, their daily undermining of even the most basic tenets of decency and freedom and justice that we have tried to live up to for 227 years.

That, and that alone, should be enough to get you on your feet with your fist in the air, whether or not you believe we have any chance of stopping all this. We may not win, but we damned well have to fight them. If we don't, we are the traitors some would say we are.

When you stare into the obsidian darkness of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC, it stares back at you. The stone of the monument is jet black, but polished so that you must face your own reflected eyes should you dare to read the names inscribed there. You are not alone in that place.

You stand shoulder to shoulder with the dead, and when those names shine out around and above and below the person you see in that stone, you become their graveyard. Your responsibility to those names, simply, is to remember.

Remember what that dream, that idea that is America, is supposed to be. Never forget it. Never let your children forget. Hand it down, generation after generation, because it is the most valuable heirloom we all possess. If we lose it, we have lost everything.

When all else fails, I fall back on the words of the extraordinary anti-war activist, Daniel Berrigan. A friend of Berrigan's, Mitchell Snyder, was for years an advocate and activist for the homeless in Washington DC. Snyder became despondent over the fact that his government could spend billions on bombs and planes and guns, but could not seem to find the money to help the homeless. Snyder became so despondent that he committed suicide. Daniel Berrigan penned these lines in memory of Snyder, and it is in these lines that I find my hope and strength when the darkness creeps too close.

Some stood up once, and sat down Some walked a mile, and walked away Some stood up twice, then sat down, "I've had it" they said, Some walked two miles, then walked away. "It's too much," they cried. Some stood and stood and stood. They were taken for fools, They were taken for being taken in. Some walked and walked and walked. They walked the earth, They walked the waters, They walked the air. "Why do you stand," they were asked, "and why do you walk?" "Because of the children," they said, "And because of the heart, "And because of the bread," "Because the cause is the heart's beat, And the children born And the risen bread."

The cause is the heart's beat. This cause is my heart's beat. It is yours. May it be there for all time, until that day comes when we can, once again, stand in awe and pride before our flag and our government and our nation, when we can once again revel in the rescued dream that is America.

Until then we are at the barricades, and on the streets, and in the faces of all those who would spend the precious blood of our men and women on lies and profit and greed. The obsidian darkness of that memorial demands this of us. The golden ideals of this nation demand this of us. The laws of our forefathers demand this of us. Most importantly, we demand this of ourselves.

They can take nothing from us that we are not willing to give, and we are not willing to give this great nation up. Let them be warned. We stand our ground.

KEEP STANDING UP. KEEP BEING COUNTED. FOR THE CHILDREN. FOR THE HEARTS. FOR THE DREAM.

And I dare you to ask for a lot, I dare you to hold fast to your ideals and to expound them as publicly and as fearlessly as Martin Luther King and Bill Coffin and Betty Friedan and those dozens of grandmothers arrested a few weeks ago for protesting the war in Iraq.

There is a story told of Daniel Berrigan, Jesuit priest, prophet, peace-activist and friend that he was once asked to give the commencement address at a prestigious university. He stood up, walked to the podium and said, "Know where you stand and stand there" and then he sat down.

My friends,
Know where you stand and stand there.

Welcome to the Sh*tty of Tampa, Can I Help You to anything else?

I'll just preface this with some things I love, although I'm sure I'll be back to re re re re-edit and then I'm gonna blast off on some stuff that's completely UNTENABLE (in my opinion) about Tampa and 'the new people' and don't try to pretend that there's no 'new people' and don't try to pretend that they mean no harm. Some of them might be ... innocent but many are here in full (if cheezy) battle armor. Please don't deny it.

Okay, if there's no 'new people' who the hell can afford those condos emptying up all over the crane-filled skyline of the city I am trying to .... believe is not the next GREAT MINISTRY ...

Please don't call me biased .... (I am similar to or I'm related to one of each of you and then to one of every hue, cry, creed and orientation, I'm on a unique perch here so I can speak freely or I will, anyway...) Like Jon Stewart and Colbert I can even say, "that's too jewy" and someone in my family will nod lovingly and jewishly .... I speak Spanish, English, some Italian and French-canadianish, a smattering of korean by injection, a little Thai, Carny, Pig Latin, Kid-Yak, Teen-esque-ette a little more street than many ladies .... and enough curse words in every language and I got all the universal stuff down and even some gang hand signals. Punks are the same every ol where, eh?? Some of them wear heels, fur, diamonds, Brooks Bros., Armani.... and badges and carry hoses ..... riding horses like in the wild wild west and thanks to JEB and shoot and ask questions later, saddle up and get packin .. but I digress.....

INSERT THOUGHT: You HAVE to click on the street link. This one surprised me especially the location of same and oh my GOD, I am like WAYYYYY behind on my street, apparently> So, I'll have to study up ....

I love the OLD (as in tenure) Tampa residents. You can tell who they are: wide, genuine smiles, true Southern charm, dignity and grace. I love the new Tampa residents who aren't here to kick our asses and take our place. Or put us IN our place according to their gods and/or goddesses ..... And don't try to tell me you haven't noted a difference.

When I talked of no one knowing the reporters at the Tampa Trib now, I referred to the small band of 'regular' Tampa people who are left here. I'm not new, yknow, I'm perfectly aware that you 'new people' outnumber us now. You've grown very bold. Those among you who are gangsters come out of your house as we drive by as IF we don't know you are there. We may be alot of things but slow is not one of them. And may the Good Lord bless you and yours in your desperately sad motivation to pursue false gods and tin rewards. And as you graduate these thuggish critters from med school and such I hope you're beginning to realize that then their slovenly educated butts are the only option you have for health care. That was dumb, huh? You brought all the doctors to lie to US but you seem to have forgotten that you're going to need some actual REAL doctors ... No, I swear. You will. And someone to wipe your butt in the home....

I love Tampa's crooked, twisted ways: I grew up here; my family's all around here. I know yall. I been runnin with the pack my whole life. What I don't love is this desperation you have seeded and you have worked so hard towards something so wrong that you have lost your humanity. And the sparkle in your eyes. I miss that, old friends. Maybe you can put it back.

I love palmettos, REAL palm trees, Tampa Bay and I love the beaches, the silly lil airs that some of these people put on. (sometimes you have to laugh out loud) I wonder how they all start giggling and fawning when Donald Trump or some prince of another nation drops a few bucks .... did they forget we all put our pants on the same way?
I love the tough Tampa criminal types disguised as ... well, you know who most of em are .... they've always made me feel safe. And loved. I've always felt I understood how Tampa is wired and then someone switched out the mother-board, eh? Chess with people unawares is always fun for the one aware ... (is it?)
I love MacDinton's (changed) and the cool place on the water on Gandy all gone now and the sh*tty is rattlefish which will go private following the trend (replace that word trend with PLAN and you get the picture)
I love lots of North Tampa stuff -- but -- oh yeah, that has disappeared. It ain't the progress I resent, it's the method. And that what is brought is FUGLY. But, isn't FUGLY the new cool?

I loved the old Bayshore with it's ratty benches and FISHING (I always managed not to get myself snagged on a line but the new people aren't able to figure that one out, I guess, so they outlawed the fishin off the Bayshore) and deplore that it now looks like a cheap set from Zorro ... (yeah I said it) ... and also that soon the sun won't reach the longest sidewalk in the world because of all those high rise dumps which even in the eyes of a ten year old grow increasingly ugly. Yeah, I almost bought one of Monte Carlo Towers' suites when they were handing out Jags or 30 grand to all purchasers because they couldn't give the things away. And when we looked at it the realtor said ... oh here's a view of the bay ... and if you were careful and had a friend hold one ankle REAL TIGHT ... by GOD you could almost sense the water out there somewhere.

But, I digress .....

Oh and I LOVED the bar-hopping .... and my people ... and my Camaro before Cecil stole it ....

Here comes the Welcome to the Shitty of Tampa may I help you + part

In their desperate drive to take my city and my home and others' homes....(these new people and the old people who crawled under the covers with them and how's that working out for you??)...

... they have weaseled their way into every dept of the city. Every venue, every legal and illegal aspect and every corner and every cranny and don't forget the NOOKS. (i'll stop here for tender eyes)

I don't recognize Tampa's cops anymore .... I know they have noticed the same themselves, the few who are left ....

Verizon: this is how so many of these gems relocated here. Don't take me there because half my family and some of my best friends are also employed in the belly of the beast. Research Verizon. Following Verizon infiltration the shitty gentrification starts and the residential makeup of an area is skewed to the point that you won't recognize anyone. Just sayin ... feel free to disagree at any point.

City Hall: You're grown ups. I'll leave that one to you. It stinks down there. It stinks across the bay at Ricky's house, too. GET BETTER !!!

Selective Prosecution: The arrest of these 'two lone bad people' down there at growth and development or whatever the hell dept.. ... this is THE TIP of the iceberg. It would take NINE MAJILLIONTY blogs to cover just from 1959 to now ... and way more finger pads than any forty ninjas have.

Selective Eminent Domain: When someone on City Council safely ensconced in South Tampa says: "these people have overstayed their welcome" (in their own homes, mind you -- where they've lived for years ....) .... Houston, we got us a big problem and then they get re-elected to county commission... oops bigger problem but maybe Buddy Johnson can shed some light on the magic of voting. He's the one who has to buy the silence of his former employees but I'd be conjecturing to know WHY. And he inherited that office from our Mayor. ..... hmmmm .... hmmmmm

The Shredding: In Tampa those big huge shredding trucks make me wish I owned one. Anyone wanna check into that with me??? More stuff gets shredded so some certain people can start fresh.

Selective Code Enforcement: I have to stay quiet here because I'm about to take this one wide open.

Selective Solid Waste: See above.....

Selective Policing: I could go on and on ... and probably will but again, it's a matter of public record ... and see above .... (ninjas too!)

Where can I end this?

There is no end to it.

They have stolen our parks, our water systems, our docks, our marinas our water. OUR SCHOOLS ... and some peoples' peace of mind (not mine)

They have poisoned the water.

Neighborhoods are divided up now where they never were before. Part of the reason is that certain neighborhoods no longer qualify for 'right' water. Not everyone wants to live in S.Tampa, contrary to popular belief. Seminole Heights has a different feel than the cool of yesterday. I was relieved to know there's still a 'punkhouse' there ... but there are telling factors which denote the fact that tons of 'new people' populate these areas and in a way totally FOREIGN to Tampa's nature, some of they look down upon others. They shoot people who are out on boat rides in an attempt to frighten them off the river. They've intimidated many of my friends into installing cameras to take them to court and they delight in this gang behavior.(this happened to be a new teacher and her delightfully insane hubby and thug children, yes it's a matter of public record, domestic court and injunctions to boot, I stumbled on this one by accident)
My own 'neighbors' tried to engage me into some things that ... oh my god went out in elementary in my world.(hey darlin...) Some of these people have infiltrated our school system and are (GAD) teaching our children. This is NOT Tampa folks. We've always operated as a unit ... what went on behind the scenes stayed behind the scenes and we roamed freely around .... who seeks to end that and why? Do you really think you are better or is that a program you're selling to others? Word: it doesn't fly. You are trying to create enemies and then engage them in battle and you think you have everything on your side..... never mind, you'll never listen to me. You have to be first and you know everything. I know, I am sharing the streets with you in my car ....

You're trying to buy up all the property here and you're batting pretty well. I've seen so many people tossed into the streets and you've gutted and rebuilt every other home in most neighborhoods. We're watching. We're watching the homes disappear off the property rolls....

What's up with these stickers on peoples' cars labeling where they're from in Tampa sh*tty? Pretty soon will this be a case of NO STICKER what are you doing around here?? More control.

New York is divided up like this and then block by block. Los Angeles. Cincinnati. You see where this is heading, right?

Is that really what WE want? Or what THEY want??

The Tiny Man in MY WhiteHouse calls for more police and firemen to make our neighborhoods safer. These men and women have become part of the problem. Not part of the solution .... Gangsters. And, yeah, I have family in both these fields too so your gang mentality loyalty does nothing for me.

When the South Tampa style page crows about us becoming little New York why is there a note of pride in that? Would New York be all aglow to be called Lil Tampa or Medium Miami??? Would Fort Myers be thrilled to be called Lil Screwed up whatever?? Well, who is LEFT in New York? I believe that we're all here now. Nothing wrong with that. But I never went anywhere to kick anyone's ass and take their stuff. Just sayin ....

Why are you doing this to us? Not just New York, Ohio, PA and some other places can take credit; it's equal opp. They know who they are. They tough, man.

Tampa had it's own unique and beautiful identity !! It was slow, laid-back, cool. Had it all going on.

What was so bad about THAT?
This is NOT a trend this is NOT population explosion and normal migration. This is a PLAN. (like the river walk that isolates the river for the rich and the few new residences dotted along where we were sposed to have green space !!!!) Tampa's not the only place it's going on. I'll stop short of calling it the Neo-Nazi-ism I sense it is ... but it's NOT a good thing when people move to an area and INTIMIDATE others into leaving. This was not gradual, this was sudden and obvious. Yep, calling a spade a spade is what I'm doing. Call me on it, if you think I'm wrong.

A city of the arts, ooooooooh, something unique ---- just like sarasota and miami and new york and and and AND.... etc... etcccc etcccc etcccc this is really some kinda half-ass, redundant goal. Why not decorate the beaten up homeless?? Wait, isn't Rachel*'s boyfriend some kind of designer (I think she has a good sense of humor, please laugh it's meant as a joke) There are some few decent people here who really have a handle on art and culture and music and gasparilla on the fun side .... (like ummmm tons of my friends are artists, musicians and intellectuals of some small or large stature) but ... for god's sake none of them can get a word in edgewise past the developers and the bricks for the river walk to open up the river which I've never had any problem getting to until this trend (read PLAN) started ....

Welcome to the Shitty of Tampa. Is there any help for her? Is there anything else that can be sold out for you????

Just sayin ....

I hope I included enough stuff I love. I remember when I used to fly out of here alot ... even when the pilots didn't land well (and Tampa seems to be especially tough for getting a good landing, it's hard on my earsies) ... anyway, no matter how tired I was or how distracting or lovely the seat mate I would be eagerly perusing the skyline for my stadium ... home to Pink Floyd and Crosby Stills and Nash and the Bandits and ... the Rowdies and THE WHO .... FREE FRICKIN PARKING..... normal security measures.....
I would be happy to see the gate guys at the airport .... They were usually the same late-night guys and gals. No control. I mean, security. When I got off the tram to go to the airport I think the same sky cap dude took my luggage EVERY TIME. For years. I felt like I had bought plenty of nice things for his family, like any girl raised in a British home I'm a good tipper ..... I hope he remembered me, too.

I wonder if he feels the same way I do. Maybe now he says, 'get out while the getting is good, I'll help you get to your plane faster .... straight this way through homeland control, miss'

Every dog has it's day .....

Mayor: (Rick Baker of TENT RAID ON THE HOMELESS)

Tent raid was not my plan
By ABHI RAGHUNATHAN
Published January 23, 2007

OH PLEASE, he met with these people (HIS EMPLOYEES) ONE HOUR before the raid.

See, what these people DON'T GET is that we don't care if they are gay. (different subject) Honestly, just stand up and be counted and then blend back into the woodwork rather than all this stupid cat and mouse when 'EVERY BODY KNOWS DUDE'. Their forty-three year marriages fool NO ONE (poke) We don't care if they make stupid, selfish, asinine, scrungy, heartless mistakes (well we DO) but we DO CARE that they just LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE. Come clean and be forgiven. For Christ's sake there are two felons in our White House. What makes you different? (all of you, not RB) We know what you are. Just admit it. Be done with it. Stop pissing us off and treating us like we are idiots. It makes you look stupid.

Is that the BEST you could DO?

Is "I'm SORRY" really SO HARD TO CHOKE OUT????

Lots of people believe that your road race is not the best idea, anyway. And NO, I'm NOT sorry for saying so. You know why? Because it's the TRUTH and also MY opinion. It's not good business. Neither was cutting the tops off of helpless peoples' tents because you and your employees could do so......... Wait, isn't the MAYOR the top law enforcement official in ANY city? yea, I thought so.

It's so funny.... here in Tampa, the City Hall through the Mayor's Attorney is intimidating Police Captain Marion Lewis from running for Mayor because that would be running 'against his boss' (the top law enforcement officer the mayor)... in Pinellas Cty. the boss (the top law enforcement officer, the mayor) claims not to know what his employees are even doing. Yet he and Pam are close in so many ways .... what gives, chiefs????

And, please, whoever is in charge of seeing that the Hills. Cty and Pinellas (etc etc etc etc) deputies and other county city employees can drive well ---- STAR27638 might need a refresher course. He/she/it veered into my lane twice this morning as part of an ongoing pattern of intimidation and harassment by city/county employees.
(yeah yeah video on demand)

So, I figure as long as yall are up to that -- attacking my family -- I'll say what I want. It's funny that at the other end of any problem anyone in my family has ever had is a corrupt Hillsborough County or Tampa City employee. Or their master. Ouch.
They can skew the votes and rip the votes off and think they are going to elect who they want ... but then the little people who DID NOT VOTE FOR THEM start screaming for their resignation because they did not want their cities run this way ....

go figure.

Buying the silence of those who leave the Hillsborough County supervisor of elections office is a huge indication that all is not well in THIS tri-county area.

Many here will be astute enough to notice the OBVIOUS connection between the silence bought in Hillsborough County, Deborah Clark's erring on the side of introducing gambling and MY property and Donald's yen for it. Ergo the intimidation by city/county employees so that the city doesn't have to pay MAJILLIONS for my property before they can build their ugly casinos on it. And open the river up for gambling boats. The river that runs from Donald's house to MINE.

The County's 30-year plan does not seem to include good health for all.

Headlights to IMPEACH

Hi and Peace !! (and Impeachment)

Please !! GO HERE. SIGN THIS.
PLEASE???

Get him and the rest of them OUT OF THERE because it's almost too late. Democrats.Com has begun a movement (and petition sign here) to impeach Gonzalez so it's kinda a top down, bottom up deal to meet in the middle with a CLEAN WhiteHouse. OUR WhiteHouse.

The Headlights to Impeach is a national movement started before Memorial Day 2006(see below)... I'm asking you all --- if you know America is headed in the wrong direction -- please, please !! for God's sake -- help me/us/them SAY SO !!!

I know it's catching on because I see more headlights all the time.

Yes it was a good idea and yes it is solid and yes I lay claim to it.

Downing Street and the Institute for Peace and Justice picked it up and ran with it a month or so after I broached the idea.
World Can't Wait declined to support the idea ... (that kinda made me wonder) but I'm not dissing them over it. Just wondering ....
Also, they DO support kicking out the Bush regime so I am supportive of them. (politics and strange bedfellows and such, they seem like good people when I yak with em)

Please ... use your clicks wisely and help a nation out here.

By the time you get done with this post you'll have clicked to two very easy to negotiate petitions to take the trash out ...

And, maybe you'll sign up for Democrats.Com and for AfterDowningStreet .. both very worthy organizations that mostly look in the same direction as I do. And lots of you !

Thanks for your help. Thanks. Thanks. See you on the light side.

See you in the headlights. Headlights ALL DAY. Please. Even if you don't sign petitions you can turn your headlights on. And remember to turn them off !

Amusing but Redundant (days and days)

Today I have lots of things on my mind ---- foremost of which probably none are interesting to anyone but me (but I'll talk about em anyway when I feel like it and try to keep you enthralled) and thankfully, the more I get familiarized with blog-land here in Tampa and surrounding areas the happier I feel that people like Tommy at Sticks and the author of Ybor City Stogie and more than several others (still working on a list of the awesome blogs and bloggers and co-writers though Tampa Blab seems to have that covered beautifully ....

anyHOOOO I feel comfortable with the fact that they're keeping it real and covering many things I thought I was the only one worried about --- so while I am pissed off at
hopefully soon-to-be-former Mayor Baker and his goon squads (men and women) and I'd LOVE to see a tent city in Tampa to see how our goon squads would act (and sorry to you who are doing an admirable job and not at all goonish) so I can go on selfishly covering my own personal drama and thoughts.
I know that there are those who wait with bated breath for my next word (when the whip comes down ..... ROFLMFAO!!) .. I just wanted to mention that BLAH on Hillary -- who knows the first f'ing thing about Obama? -- Why did Dick let me down? (just kidding on that one) .... and even though I have the usual amusing but highly redundant life-erole to cover I am carefully and meticulously researching how Pam and others are selling the waterfront out from under Tampa and FL and across the nation as they carefully explain to us how they are doing this to OPEN THE WATERFRONT for us.

mmmmkay, I might have slept at the wheel for awhile but I clearly remember being able to walk up to Ralston Beach (now buried behind an apartment complex and some private homes) being able to canoe off of almost any point on the Hillsborough River (see above) being able to pull off the road, with our dogs and go to the beach from here to Sand Key to Pass a Grille and now I have to go to the ATM in order to pay the parking fees if I want to cover a few beach parking lots for the day. Also in the see above category except (CONDOS NOT APARTMENTS) you can't even see the water anymore from the sand key I remember as being so wildly beautiful I didn't recognize it and never went back about ten years ago ... and thank you kindly to the developers and nodding officials who all shared in the profit at the expense of Florida's beauty and charm though this is old news.

WTF? I can't even SEE the gd water anymore... Thank you for opening it up and then shutting it quickly before I could get a last peek !

Opening up the waterfront for me, are ya?

I've never had any problem getting my toesies wet til this nasty plan went into action.

I drive by this ad on Westshore all the time about either westport or newport development (big ol snarky uggy billboard) it cries: OPENING THE WATERFRONT FOR YOU !!! That's the you that can afford the 46,000.00 boatslip to go with the 1.5 million dollar condo ... yes, another DICKominium.

Condos SUCK

DOCKOS SUCK.

Redundancy REALLY SUCKS.

And some people seriously must not have mirrors at home.

I love you all and it's been such a pretty day.

I only came here because I didn't want anyone to slip a cog wondering ....

Isn't it great?

Aren't we proud of our State?

(Speaking of mirrors at home --- check this out!!)

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) -- A police officer has been reassigned to front-desk duty after drawing cheers and jeers for saving a homeless woman's shopping cart full of belongings.

Patrol Officer Nicholas Evans, 26, was celebrated by homeless advocates after he pulled a packed shopping cart alongside his police cruiser for 12 miles to the jail after arresting its homeless owner on an outstanding warrant last week.

But the three-year veteran was widely ridiculed by peers and criticized by Chief Michael Radzilowski for failing to use common sense and not figuring out another way to save the woman's belongings.

He was reassigned to front-desk duty Tuesday while the incident is investigated further. Evans is not likely to be fired, the chief said.

"He believes what he did was right at the time," the officer's wife, Liz Evans, told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Authorities have learned that Evans also dragged another shopping cart while driving after returning to duty later that night - violating a supervisor's order. The second incident involved an empty CVS pharmacy cart that he returned to the store.

Filing an Objection for the Color Orange

Truth is violated by falsehood, but it is outraged by silence. - Henri Frederic Amiel

The color orange is not only a beautiful color but it has been used for many worthy reasons when someone attempts to garner attention for their cause.

In Tampa Bay and Hillsborough County, the color orange is increasingly treated with disrespect and I've noticed for too long and today I'm filing an objection. When we go and wage PEACE at events, they use big (I mean BIG!!!) ugly city trucks (painted partly orange and perhaps bought solely for this occasion with the Homeland Control (remember replace the word security with control) dollars left over after everyone got new cellphones, cars, hookers and cigars. What did the city/county CHICKS, get? I think I know but they should be better bargainers, yknow?
At any rate,I had never EVER seen any trucks like this in Tampa before that day, and they looked brand new. I refer to the day in late 2005 when Bush came to Tampa to stump for one of the GOP'ers and hundreds of us turned out to specify how we REALLY feel about him Maybe next they'll use those big trucks like in Nazi Germany. Open your mouth or have the wrong last name and they'll toss your body in and drive away when appropriate. Just part of our Control for the current PUS.
And, currently the inmates of Hillsborough Cty and who knows how many other counties are garbed in these loud orange uniforms which is sposed to let you know they are bad people. (So WHY ORANGE??? is there some sick orange bias at work here? It must be nipped in the bud) Check yourself. The keepers are worse than the inmates.

So this is two glaring local instances I see where the color orange is being used in a detrimental fashion and on behalf of the color orange, and the deepest respect for it's loveliness: I OBJECT.

And some other thoughts for the day:

"It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance." - President George Herbert Walker Bush addressing the General Assembly of the U.N., February 1, 1992.
(One case where apparently junior is not like deddy as he pretty much kicks the U.N. in the teeth on a daily basis)

"In March 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press....They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers." - U.S. Congressman Oscar Callaway, 1917

THREE BIG Things Missing in Tampa

Independent Media tops my list !!!

And here, my compliments to those Tampa bloggers who are doing their best to fill in; I'm working on a list but frankly this is all new territory for me so it'll take awhile. Yall are the journalists of Tampa .... (does anyone KNOW any of the reporters at the Tampa Tribune (LIES printed Daily) anymore? Nope, they've all been outsourced, uprooted, whatever'd) and replaced with these strange new mouthpieces for 'the man' ... Ever since they set up that one editor's son and chased the editor out of the picture ... that newspaper gasped it's LAST as a real news outlet.

I DID find this but the last activity on the list serv is 2005. It's possible I'm out of the loop. Please inform.

As well, I am a producer at Tampa Bay Community Network and that's something that can lead down some interesting paths of revelation if one works at it.

Compassion at City Hall Seriously, what a lot of dead wood and the whole dead forest growing under the direction of the current mayor-ess.

A L T H O U G H ----- I think that this could be solved with a little more attention from Independent Media (see above)(yeah, that's part of what I'm up to)

Dick Greco might be alot of things but no one could accuse him of not giving a damn. I hope he runs again and I'd like to see City Hall stop threatening everyone who wants to run against the mayor OR speak up.
(afterthought: Dick is not running and on the other hand, I think he and she are somehow related?)... Too bad. Now on to the second part. Stop threatening and castigating everyone who runs against the current PTB.

Motorcycle Gangs ! Since that big multiorgamastic (I might be making that word up!) trial of Bowman and whoever the other guy was .... (Wheeler??) we're sposed to believe that the biker gangs are gone or dissipated. Okay, who then are all these tough-looking guys and gals on motorcycles riding around intimidating citizens with a good bit of organization inherent? Some of them don't have bikes, just the attitude. I have some pretty cool biker friends but please, Tampa, stop pretending that we have no violent gangsters here and stop spending all that gang task force money on lipstick for PIGS. Cops and sheriffs are bikers now and vice versa. There's no thin blue/green line there, anymore; it's all a big melting pot, yknow? Scary.

Speaking of multiorgamastic trials, I'm pretty sure the editor's son was tried in the newspaper ..... you remember the one ... and then trace the Tampa Tribune from there. Yep, I'm very bad with names but it will come to me, eventually. I never believed it was all that and frankly, it stunk of a big setup to ME.

Again, I think if we had some Independent Media ... (and that's what I'm working on, how bout you??)

HOT STUFF COMIN THROUGH

Okay, here's a disclaimer of sorts .... ROFLMFAO !!!!! What I say here is true. I observed it, lived it, smelled it and got some shock value from it.

Given the propensity of the Sheriff's office to sue anyone who says anything remotely bad about them I'll just say that I'm a novelist stretching out into cyberland to discover the marketability of one of those crime thriller type of books and what might happen to a person who owns a piece of the rock inside of gambling town usa.
Anyway, I'm not saying anything bad about yall. Yall got a job. Do it. Stick to it. That extracurricular blending of other activities which is bleeding all over my family (counting the pretend friends, BACK OFF)................... that's where the fantasy ends and reality is kicking in the teeth of those who stand and deliver....

well, anyway .. for what it's worth. I woke up and made my choice today and you woke up and made yours. Lockstep all the way but preventing me from enjoying the wealth of my county was not such a smart thing to do. Would have done no harm for a nice guaranteed income. What? Seriously? You have something AGAINST intelligent people in your employ? (big surprise there) It's almost like you wanted me to end up homeless ... no... that's just toooooo SHOCKING.................

anywhoooo..... I'm not done editing any of this, just doing some ... lobbing. Or lobbying.

Some Tampa and Hillsborough Fallacies to Examine..

The Sheriff's Office has answered all questions regarding their integrity (oops, nope there's a number of them out there including the stalking going on, IMO++++)

The TPD is protecting the citizenry from gangs (ouch!! IMO++++) Seriously, the gangs couldn't operate without the protection.

When you call TPD to file a complaint, your call is directed to the next person in the 911 round-robin and your call is handled just like every other call (I'm afraid this is not true and damn it doesn't make me happy to show the difference because here again there are GOOD people still, doing a GOOD job)I guess this is half/half. IMO there are some real bad apples gwanna spoil the whole bunch, girl

The Mayor of Tampa and the Mayor of St. Pete, both in Florida on the same bay of water.... are (coincidentally) cleaning up the cities (well, that's one way you could put it but that's not QUITE the whole story.....) (and see below)

Tampa Code Enforcement and Pinellas Code Enforcement are acting within the letter of the law and do not perform selective code enforcement for properties the city and developers need and at the behest of KNOWN gang-members. (this one's so obvious that I should not even have to
'expose' it.

Hillsborough County Property Appraisers .... (frankly, I have found that these guys actually do a good job in many cases) there are just the dishonest seeded in there who disappear properties from the tax rolls, bounce the zonings back and forth, change up the property designations when the populace questions same (IMO++++ til I post the proof ROFLMFAO!!) .... oh man, this is going to be exhausting .... and this one guy stalked me around a bit just to let me know the city was paying attention to me when it became obvious that they had lied to me about development in my neighborhood and then also sent me the proof. Like that's MY fault....

When the Tampa Tribune publishes articles stating that the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has now cleaned up all past cases involving terrible ethics on THEIR part under Sheriff David Gee -- this is what you are TOLD to believe. (IMO+++) So, some people will be nodding and thinking ... wow, that's GREAT. But, thinking people, and damn there's a BUNCH of us --- (IMO+++) they know that somehow you made a deal to shut down these lawsuits and the message to citizens is to SHUT UP and not dare file another one. But they are apparently neck-deep involved in something dangerous to the citizens of Tampa and members of this fine force are allegedly (observed proof) involved in stalking citizens of this formerly fair city. At this point,(IMO+++++) I'd think they'd figure that lawsuits are inevitable if they can't rein their people in. It's out of control.

Oh, one of my 'neighbors' (see behest and known above) (hello darlin!!) has a dear friend/relative (or two or three ROFLFMFAO!!!) on the Tampa Police Dept. force who stops by his house in shirt sleeves after he's off duty (complete with bubbly lights) who was also then involved in arrests of people in my close network. Okay, this isn't just my opinion but a matter of public record and then of videotaped evidence .... Given the fact that there's a REAL pattern involved here ... and these people have practiced intimidation towards myself and my family ... I'd say there's a real problem here. Unless you believe that these same folks who have these friends feel like they can just get away with anything whether they know the cops or not???? Keeping it convoluted, keeping it real............... Myself, I've known the cops in Tampa for years and they used to be pretty good people and I've never asked them to go arrest anyone for me but on the other hand, I don't try to intimidate people out of their property, either.

So, when they tell you the troubles are over, don't you BELIEVE it. The troubles are worse than ever and they are RAMPANT.

And someone(s) doesn't like my blogging apparently because they are bleeding city-sanctioned and participatory gang UNITY all over me and mine. (see ALL OF THE ABOVE) Choices are funny things, aren't they?

Anything physical or legally that happens among my close friends and family is highly suspect.

Oh, the Tampa City Water is pure and clean and chock full of fluoride to protect you and your loved ones from harm. (having mine examined from the samples I've saved over the last several years and if you have someone you can trust I'd advise you to do the same)

Just stating this here as the documented threats have spilled over again ..... it's just sad. It's sad and it hurts my heart, eyes and mind.

You signed up for the wrong plan. It's not too late to change. I see the shame in your eyes. I see you watching, waiting for my reaction ... you know that I love you, that I have a soft spot for your mother. My memories of her are fine and I refuse to believe that she would condone what you are doing to people and especially to ME. She took a shy little girl and set aside hours to talk to me of something dear to her heart. That's NOT just in ME; it's in HER.

It's not too late to live the life you should be living ... please TRY.

Looking in the mirror is hard man, but if you can DO IT, you are living. I encourage you to develop that lust for life instead of spending your time as too many of you do. For god's sake; it's NOT daunting, it's so fucking sad some days I can hardly keep my head up from the table. I just want to cry until you are better. It hurts me to think of how you are hurting yourself, your future and so many innocent people. Please stop. Tell your mother I said hello. I know she felt connected to me, too ... go ahead, ask her. Don't live a life that will cause you pain and regret. Don't do it. It's not for ME I ask this; but for YOU and yours. You have such a beautiful child ... let peace fill the lives of those you love. Let love fill their hearts. You'll see a change.

Damn, I get halfway through these posts and realize how fricking sad I am for the people I love and there I go ....for god's sake, I'm a minister for peace and love. Yikes.

Peace !! Love !!!

(As well, all of the above are known as 'alleged' incidents until proven in a court of law) Defamation and Libel and Slander not to be confused with my personal opinions stated above. When it comes to proof, there's plenty but until such a time should prove necessary, the above and this entire website is personal opinion for the purpose of telling the story of Tampa and what Tampa is up to concerning myself and my family.

Reaping What you Sow

Please just stop. (doesn't bother me any, I can turn this to my advantage laughably easily) But, you were given a CHANCE to turn out a human being worthy of goodness and given a chance to build strength of character.

Children are the arrows that you shoot into the future. Do you really want your arrows so tainted? A reading of your family history should evoke pride and inspiration.

Of course, depending on one's definition of PRIDE and INSPIRATION ... well, do what you will.

But, remember: I have peace, love, humility, goodness, kindness, mercy .... you know all that stuff --- over here on the light side.

Do you really think there is strength of character in gang associations and cookie cutter aspirations ? Grimy.

To each his own, just thought I'd mention it but I have tons of stuff to talk about !!

(gang unity is on my list for one day this week, man it's frickin' heart-warming to watch)

The People ARE Important

Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence
By Rev. Martin Luther King
4 April 1967

Speech delivered by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on April 4, 1967, at a meeting of Clergy and Laity Concerned at Riverside Church in New York City.

[Please put links to this speech on your respective web sites and if possible, place the text itself there. This is the least well known of Dr. King's speeches among the masses, and it needs to be read by all]

http://www.ssc.msu.edu/~sw/mlk/brkslnc.htm

The following is an excerpt of this beautiful speech. Please read it in it's entirety at the link provided in the title of this post.

The People Are Important

These are revolutionary times. All over the globe men are revolting against old systems of exploitation and oppression and out of the wombs of a frail world new systems of justice and equality are being born. The shirtless and barefoot people of the land are rising up as never before. "The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light." We in the West must support these revolutions. It is a sad fact that, because of comfort, complacency, a morbid fear of communism, and our proneness to adjust to injustice, the Western nations that initiated so much of the revolutionary spirit of the modern world have now become the arch anti-revolutionaries. This has driven many to feel that only Marxism has the revolutionary spirit. Therefore, communism is a judgement against our failure to make democracy real and follow through on the revolutions we initiated. Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism. With this powerful commitment we shall boldly challenge the status quo and unjust mores and thereby speed the day when "every valley shall be exalted, and every moutain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall be made straight and the rough places plain."

A genuine revolution of values means in the final analysis that our loyalties must become ecumenical rather than sectional. Every nation must now develop an overriding loyalty to mankind as a whole in order to preserve the best in their individual societies.

This call for a world-wide fellowship that lifts neighborly concern beyond one's tribe, race, class and nation is in reality a call for an all-embracing and unconditional love for all men. This oft misunderstood and misinterpreted concept -- so readily dismissed by the Nietzsches of the world as a weak and cowardly force -- has now become an absolute necessity for the survival of man. When I speak of love I am not speaking of some sentimental and weak response. I am speaking of that force which all of the great religions have seen as the supreme unifying principle of life. Love is somehow the key that unlocks the door which leads to ultimate reality. This Hindu-Moslem-Christian-Jewish-Buddhist belief about ultimate reality is beautifully summed up in the first epistle of Saint John:

Let us love one another; for love is God and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. If we love one another God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Let us hope that this spirit will become the order of the day. We can no longer afford to worship the god of hate or bow before the altar of retaliation. The oceans of history are made turbulent by the ever-rising tides of hate. History is cluttered with the wreckage of nations and individuals that pursued this self-defeating path of hate. As Arnold Toynbee says : "Love is the ultimate force that makes for the saving choice of life and good against the damning choice of death and evil. Therefore the first hope in our inventory must be the hope that love is going to have the last word."

We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. The "tide in the affairs of men" does not remain at the flood; it ebbs. We may cry out deperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is deaf to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residue of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late." There is an invisible book of life that faithfully records our vigilance or our neglect. "The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on..." We still have a choice today; nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation.

We must move past indecision to action. We must find new ways to speak for peace in Vietnam and justice throughout the developing world -- a world that borders on our doors. If we do not act we shall surely be dragged down the long dark and shameful corridors of time reserved for those who possess power without compassion, might without morality, and strength without sight.

Now let us begin. Now let us rededicate ourselves to the long and bitter -- but beautiful -- struggle for a new world. This is the callling of the sons of God, and our brothers wait eagerly for our response. Shall we say the odds are too great? Shall we tell them the struggle is too hard? Will our message be that the forces of American life militate against their arrival as full men, and we send our deepest regrets? Or will there be another message, of longing, of hope, of solidarity with their yearnings, of commitment to their cause, whatever the cost? The choice is ours, and though we might prefer it otherwise we must choose in this crucial moment of human history.

As that noble bard of yesterday, James Russell Lowell, eloquently stated:

Once to every man and nation
Comes the moment to decide,
In the strife of truth and falsehood,
For the good or evil side;
Some great cause, God's new Messiah,
Off'ring each the bloom or blight,
And the choice goes by forever
Twixt that darkness and that light.

Though the cause of evil prosper,
Yet 'tis truth alone is strong;
Though her portion be the scaffold,
And upon the throne be wrong:
Yet that scaffold sways the future,
And behind the dim unknown,
Standeth God within the shadow
Keeping watch above his own.

Amor Vincit Omnia

Although I have some personal stuff to yak about ... (stealing items out of my car now results in one revelation you'd rather not have from now on, mmmmkay?? And for God's sake I owe you a few .....) See I think part of the problem is these lil lawless maggots are doing stuff that the bigger lawless folks aren't aware of and so I guess that stealing judogi pants out of my car (gotcha on videotape by the way, friend) is part of what? Anyhoooo, after MLK Day, we'll get to discussing something of a personal nature ... and batting stuff around at my property ..... I'll think up something for that, too. In the meantime, grow F'in up.
You embarrass yourself. You embarrass your people. You'd embarrass me if I acknowledged you. I love you, anyway.

TAMPA THE NEXT GREAT MINISTRY BOASTS THE SIXTH LARGEST HOMELESS POPULATION IN THE THIS BUSH-LEAGUE NATION

Speaking of love .... if you have an iota in you and I know that most people DO ... please call the Mayor's office and remind her that we can hold off on the weekly fireworks display and wasting all the city/county employee resources harassing innocent citizens (read me and others) and put some dollars and efforts into doing something about the homeless problem that she, Baker and the other guy have helped create and ask her to show you where any money is being spent towards helping the homeless. Don't fall for the Metropolitan Ministries faith-based gambit.

Ask her where this municipality is directing it's dollars to help the homeless and ask her if fireworks weekly is such a great idea when one considers these statistics?!?!?!?!

There's a few people in the office who will pretend you are dead but go ahead and ask, anyway and then report back here with your results !!!

Homelessness in Hillsborough County

The 2005 Hillsborough County Homeless Coalition Homeless Census Survey reports:

*

11,023 men, women and children are homeless in Hillsborough County. A 26% increase from 8,082 counted in 2003
Before you get on with the rest of these SAD SAD SAD statistics please take note of this date and these papier mache' goals from the BIO of this mayor who has sold this city out and allowed the good citizens of Tampa to become wholesale victims of city-sanctioned gangs. From the mayor's BIO:

Sworn into office on April 1, 2003,(when homelessness began it's TWENTY SIX PERCENT ESCALATION) for a four-year term, Mayor Iorio has established five strategic goals to guide Tampa throughout this decade. These areas of focus are:

* investing in neighborhoods,
* economic development of our most challenged areas,
* creating a residential community downtown,
* efficient city government focused on customer service, and
* establishing Tampa as a city of the arts.

Mayor Iorio is committed to improving the quality of life in Tampa. Under her leadership there has been a commitment to the basics of city government including public safety, parks and recreation, neighborhood road improvements, and improved drainage and pipe systems. Last year, for the first time in Tampa’s history, the city established a five-year stormwater plan to address long-neglected flooding and drainage issues and the city has also embarked on a plan that begins to address Tampa’s aging water and wastewater pipes.

Since her first month in office there has been a crackdown on street level drug dealing and a renewed commitment to community policing. This has resulted in a dramatic decline in Tampa’s crime rate – down 29.4% since 2003 – its lowest rate in nearly 30 years. The city is being cleaned up through invigorated code enforcement and the establishment of a Clean City division dedicated to reducing litter in neighborhoods throughout the city.

From New Tampa and East Tampa to West Tampa and South Tampa nearly every part of the city is experiencing new development. Downtown is transforming into a residential community and the city continues to attract new businesses. Recognizing the emerging global economy, the Mayor’s Global Business Committee was established to support the expansion of trade in the Tampa area.

Before anyone thinks I'm picking on the Mayor -- think again. She has done one thing I admire and she hasn't sold us out ALONE -- she's just the smiley face. BUT, when Bush came to town she refused to designate free speech zones and I VERY MUCH admire that. Thanks, Pam.

Now, for God's sake --- do something about the homeless and stop trying to make ME one of them.

10 percent are children (a 48% increase in 2 years)
*

56 percent are Caucasian
*

36 percent are African-American
*

18 percent are Hispanic
*

25 percent are veterans
*

31 percent are employed full time
*

25 percent have drug and alcohol addictions
*

23 percent suffer from mental illness
*

1 percent have the HIV/AIDS virus
*

21 percent have a physical disability
*

55 percent have some kind of income
*

There are enough services in Hillsborough County to help ONLY 13 percent of homeless men, women and children living in the County
*

Hillsborough County has the 6th largest homeless population in the nation
*

During the 2005-2006 school year, the Hillsborough County Public School’s Homeless Education and Literacy Program directly served 800 homeless students. This does not include the 3,500 Migrant students who have been identified as homeless this school year

Speaking of fireworks ---- it's interesting that this woman who is also a caring citizen (with an awesome blog and NOPE I don't know her, just LOVE the blog!!) has a problem with same in her neighborhood.

Big Dufus on the Dark Side

Well, this is more just pathetic than interesting or exciting but in the interest of documentation here is one underpaid Dufus' attempt to get my attention for his boss so I'll QUICK VACATE MY HOME AND give it to them for pennies.

So, last night I visited the library on Manhattan, the one right across from all the churches and the dumpy apartment building. I was waiting for my chillrun to get done on line and doing some work on my laptop when this character I remember from another visit to the library roared over in his shiny black nazi-mobile to start some trouble. He arrived about three to four minutes after I did so it's pretty obvious that he got there just for me. (I videotaped most of this encounter with chickenman and I think the pictures will be pretty funny so bear with me) He apparently lives there in the dumpy complex where I've seen him in the past but also it seems he cruises to a few places to guard the life out of em (sorta like a portable shit storm of security, I guess) I don't know, they did not return my calls lodging vociferous complaints against their errrrrrrr security guard. I remember him from one other time because I happened to be on my cellphone walking towards my car and he was lurking/lurching around across the street looking ... well ... lurchy and freaky. Then I noticed he was wearing some kind of uniform so figured maybe he was security.(or NEEDS security)
When he pulled up I had my head in the laptop but his car is loud so I glanced up remembered him as the freak and went back to work. Well, yknow how you never hear a car door or something alerts you that the person is up to something strange? So I look over again and kinda scan this little parking lot beside this dumpy apartment building and don't see the freak nor any sign of him. I glance up a few times and then continue working.
Here is where chickenman goes to work: (I guess and I hope he got his just reward from the man/woman he serves) ... so I see this person lurking close to my car just behind it and he kinda lurches on past. (this idjit musta clicked his door shut and picked his way (picture inspector gadget) around the library and circled like a mad tracker up behind me ....
So,I say (with a little attitude) "Can I HELP you?" .... No answer but he lurches across the street (at this point I realize it's the freak from before) and then gets to the corner of the building (he must feel safe here on his leash in the shadows) and turns around and stares over at me and gets on his cell phone. So I get on MINE. haha. At this point I'm thinking, man this cat is some strange science. Of course, it's just another one of the set-ups but I play along with my kaleidoscope as there's no fun any other way.
I should insert here and remind gentle reader that I am parked on public property at the library waiting for chillrun to emerge and this guy (I find out later) is some kinda bum, wrinkly, lurching security guard for this falling down dump on Manhattan and his boss (read those who NEED MY PROPERTY) has sent him to bother with me but as Americans we all know that it is simply none of this lackey's business what I am doing on public property. Numerous people were parked all around me and coming and going but he picked me out of that crowd in my Jeep Cherokee and my five foot four'ness, barely see over the steering wheel thugness, right?
Laugh here cause it's funny. No, it really is. Maybe you'll understand more when I post the pictures.

Oh, so he called the police twice to report my presence in a public parking lot and I met the most edible officer on the Tampa Police Dept's force. Dillahey? Can't spell it, never saw it; but he's adorable which still doesn't make up for the rest of them who have displayed less than civil manners over the past couple of years. (in regards to helping the city steal my property, you know ... I like to understand they have a job to do and all but the one guy is still a subject of a federal lawsuit mwhahahahaha)
I have to rush this post because I'm running out of time and I'll have to edit it tomorrow but I ended up going over to his little crusty area of the world and taking his tag number and tapping on his window several times in order to hold a conversation with him about why on earth he was guarding a public parking lot when he was just a wanna be whatever he is? He wouldn't even roll down his window (wimp) nor did the shabby shanky office leasing place return my calls this morning to apologize to me but yknow what? This is probably not over yet. And I have it all in my future youtube collection. Funneeeee.

I told the delectable officer that the lurchy guy was a major freak and he laughed and I know the whole thing was a setup and wanted to express my appreciation for sending out a pretty young thing for me.
Their goal? God I guess it's to make me feel watched or uncomfortable or too much like a Democrat or .... make me stay home or away from certain areas or what? I don't know and I won't conjecture further. I think it's part of 'taming' me; like other citizens they need us to stay home and out of their damned way.

Tomorrow I might post about the hard looks from the girls who could be pretty but fall somewhat short in the soul department. Probably related to the delectable officer and the lurch at the chock a block apartment complex on Manhattan.
I'll also have to finish this post.
I kinda ended the situation like that dating thing where they stalk your lover with a vid cam and tell you if he's a two-timing creep ... only I was taping a lurch who probably hasn't had a date in quite some time but the footage is going to be funny.

MILLIONS MILLIONS MILLIONS

Before I go on I should just make this clear.

This is MILLIONS MILLIONS MILLIONS of dollars.

My property is the lynchpin property for the casinos and hotels that the gambling industry and Tampa need to build where the gambling license is (Tampa Greyhound Track)

So, when you ask yourself why they go to these lengths (and it is unbelievable, once you start reading it, isn't it? Living it is just that much more fun)

But, when you ask yourself WHY they would go to these lengths remember this:

MILLIONS MILLIONS MILLIONS.

My life (or yours) is nothing compared to the lust these people have for to support their need for cash.

This could have been settled long back with some judicious thinking and communicating. And it was not MY choice to start this big ugly nasty mess that's leading nowhere good.

Anyway --

MILLIONS MILLIONS MILLIONS

Your suggestions and observations are perfectly welcome.

As long as they don't include the words: SELL IT.

I probably will do that but the terms will have to be much more favorable than what's been offered thus far: (basically GET THE F out of the way and here's enough money for lunch and an ice-cream for you and your family) Are YOU still here?? (Them to me)

Soon, we're going to have a section on what lil gang members do when they grow up.

And, I guess I'll have to post on what happened last night as the dual purpose and also the express purpose of this BLOG are to document and discuss the errant ways of a thieving municipality and the people they use to intimidate fellow citizens into giving up their property for pennies.

I know I'm not the only person this is happening to. I have a list of others, over 200 long. That's just from casual observance; if I really researched the matter I'd find 1000's. But I stay busy with other things ... and have hope that these ashamed people will one day remember the clear English I have heard them speak and sit down like ladies and gentlemen with someone who deserves no less. (that's me)
Oh, by the way, they will make millions millions millions, it's just ME that they don't want to allow a huge profit. I put my time in. So did my Mom and my Grandpa.

(for Krista and Josh and for Cathy Sellars)

A class act, indeed. Although he's incorrect (it will NEVER be okay) I am very glad that Joshua Malloy was there for Cathy Sellars.
Thank you, Officer Malloy for your humanity and decency.

For anyone who comes here and would like to see the beautiful love displayed to Krista Sellars in a You Tube video, here it is:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LAND O'LAKES - Traffic backed up for miles on U.S. 41 as grim-faced troopers worked their gruesome duty on one of the coldest nights of the year.
A teenage girl was dead.
A woman pulled her car onto the median, jumped out and ran toward the flashing blue lights.
"Do you know who was in the accident?" she asked, her voice frantic.
She was pretty, blonde, petite, in a thin black sweater and black slacks. Her eyes were desperate. Her words tumbled.
"Do you know if the ambulance has been here? Has it left?"
She ran toward the troopers, her steps punctuated with, "OhmyGod, OhmyGod."
She told a trooper her daughter's name. He left to get his clipboard. She waited, alone, hugging herself against the cold.
Trooper Joshua Malloy, 26, returned and stood before the woman.
It was her daughter, he said.
Krista Sellars was gone.
Cathy Sellars sank to her knees, and Trooper Malloy sank with her, holding her. She kneeled on the cold grass and doubled over, her arms clutching her stomach. Malloy gently rubbed her back. Above the roar of traffic, he could be heard saying, in a tender voice, "It will be okay. You'll be okay."

Security OUT Control IN via TAMPA BAY

You know it's amazing that this bullshit war against tourism as KGB (king george) puts it is waged against the American citizens and less than 1/3 of us are still falling for it. Even our Democratic Congress pushed through some more "security" measures under the guise of 'finally' instituting the suggestions of the Sept. 11, 2001 Commission most of which call for more security involving guess who?

You and me, the American terrorists. Read for Yourself !!
This follows up closely the bullshit WAR ON DRUGS which has been another money siphon out of our pockets into THEIRS for years. (drugs and wars are bad .... mmmmmmkay?)

Anyway, here is a funny little trick that reveals very quickly what georgeco and tampaco and tpdco and sheriffco (EVERYWHERE in AmeriKa) are up to. Besides the heinous acts they are casually pulling on innocent women and children and other citizens in Florida.

You simply take the word security and replace it with control and you have the whole picture and NO I did not think this up myself but isn't it CLEVER and revealing?

Here ya go ....

Boost In CONTROL (Security) Money Sought
By VALERIE KALFRIN The Tampa Tribune
Published: Jan 11, 2007

TAMPA - After a year of being relegated to a "sustainability list" of targets in danger of losing federal homeland CONTROL (security) funding, the Tampa area could receive an influx of cash in the months ahead, a local CONTROL official said Wednesday.
The U.S. Department of Homeland CONTROL on Friday released a broad outline for the distribution of $746.9 million earmarked for 45 high-density urban areas nationwide during this fiscal year.
Six areas designated as having the highest risk will compete for $410.8 million, or 55 percent of the money, Homeland CONTROL Secretary Michael Chertoff said in a news conference.
These areas are Los Angeles and Long Beach, Calif.; the California Bay area; Chicago; Houston; Washington, D.C.; and New York City and Northern New Jersey.
The Tampa Urban Area CONTROL Initiative - which includes Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Hillsborough and Pinellas counties - is one of 39 urban areas competing for $336.1 million, or 45 percent of the money. Also ranked in this classification are the urban areas of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Jacksonville.
The "sustainability list" is gone.
Although the Tampa area won't know for months how much money it will receive, the classification change bolstered the hopes of Tampa Assistant Police Chief Jane Castor, the point of contact for Tampa's CONTROL initiative.
"We are spending the money very well, and some of the things we've implemented are best practices they're looking to implement elsewhere," she said.
The Tampa area received $8.8 million of homeland CONTROL money during the last fiscal year, most of which is being used toward updating the area's radio systems so rescue agencies can better communicate with each other, Castor said.
Tampa also has been a test site for CONTROL software that catalogs a city's infrastructure and assesses the risks from various crises.
Called Site Profiler, this software is also used by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Castor said Miami and the state of Florida also are planning to implement it.
Between the 2003 and 2006 fiscal years, the Tampa area has received $31.6 million in CONTROL money, records show.
The Miami area has received $64 million - the most of the participating Florida areas. Orlando, Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale respectively have received $18.2 million, $16.2 million and $10 million.
The Department of Homeland CONTROL ranked each urban area by its infrastructure, threat level and population density. In the past, Castor said, officials' classifications - such as counting all military bases equally regardless of function - raised concerns.
"We just wanted to ensure we were assessed appropriately," she said. "The fact that we had MacDill Air Force Base, which is running the war, was no different than a training facility in the middle of America."
Chertoff said the agency fine-tuned the process by which the areas are classified and compete for money.
Each urban area must submit up to 15 projects for peer review, with estimates for time, equipment and personnel. The reviewing groups recommend revisions, allowing for more funding opportunities, he said.
For instance, if an urban area suggested instituting a radar network and patrol boats to guard a series of ports, the panel might recommend omitting the radar network because the Coast Guard already has such a system.

And there you have it.

Tell you what I personally have heard these billions have been spent on: Your basic wine, women and song including the prostitutes at the fire station. Fine cigars that TPD smokes right in the brand new shiny cars and vans and whatever else they have finagled with these millions. I'm not privy to the under the table stuff but there's no accountability here and I happen to know for a FACT that the communication between Tampa, Pinellas, Pasco and etc etc... 'responders' and half the Eastern Seaboard has been fine-tuned for some time now.

Welcome to HOMELAND CONTROL, folks. Unless you wake up, speak up and stand up --- it's here to stay.

Oh and on a personal note, the stalking is revving up again (documentation documentation documentation) and the car, house are tit for tat.

Great job guys and how's that working out for you?

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you. For the record, save your pennies if I've known you longer than thirty years. Out of respect for you and your family I'll leave your names out. Out of respect for you and your family I have remained silent. Apparently this same respect was not inbred in you. That's a pity but you and yours are safe with me. The ones who took it upon themselves to do your bidding against an innocent family are wide open just like they've left MY family wide open. Herewith I refer to my extended family and network many of whom are currently suffering at your hands. Be on notice.

About Me

ANYWHERE, ANYWHERE LOL, United States
I was born a citizen of the world and have remained such but along with that: I'm a long time Tampa resident. Mixed bag at that as I've seen life here from nearly all angles and while somewhere in there I became slightly indoctrinated, I'm not too proud of the way people have taken over this city and run it with an iron fist for all but some. This city is working hard on creating just two classes. Thems and them dont's and they are working hard to shove some families down into the gutter for reasons known only to them. Some might be as petty as jealousy, some might be politically motivated, some might just be stupid and all are wrong. I want to believe we can get better but that would entail some stuff that I have no control over. I only can control myself and my reactions to what occurs.
