Son of a Blogger(s)

Undisclosed Bloggers either read a joke or got it in their heads that they'd like some indication of what their GROWN child might do for a living or perhaps whether the child might ever grow up.

So, like terrible parents, they settled on doing something sneaky and underhanded and to test the (grown) child for probability.

After pondering the matter they decided to place four items on the nightstand in his room and when she got home to be hiding in the closet and watch to observe the reaction to the items.

The father, who might be a minister wanted to place a Bible there to see if maybe the child would follow in his footsteps. Additionally they left a twenty-dollar bill, a bottle of Vodka and a Porn magazine. (toldya they're BAD parents)

The thinking was that if the child picked up the Bible first, perhaps there would be a religious career and if the money garnered the interest maybe there was some hope of a career in business. IF the vodka was grabbed first maybe things would just proceed along as before (LOL) and if the magazine were the first draw ... well, well. Well.

The child eventually arrives home and goes to his room where she proceeds to place the Bible under his arm, stuff the twenty in her pocket, take a HUGE SWIG of the vodka and flip through the porn magazine.

In unison the parents cried, "OH NO !!! She's going to be a Congressman!!!!"

Bada bing.

Yep, I'm getting a lot done today.

Cause you can be sure that if Earl Pippin is in line for that money ... baby, he won't MAKE IT to collect it. LOL

AND, to admit that they have NO CLUE who killed her or even if she's DEAD, Temple Terrace will be paying to restore the south tampa home owned by Earl Pippin.

President Bush will issue what will thankfully be his final State of the Union address; but, little of what he says can be trusted. (read NONE)

For the past seven years, we have watched as America has moved steadily backwards. We have become a nation that is less free and less fair. We have become a nation that no longer values the right to privacy and has tragically retreated from our cherished foundations.

Nothing George W. Bush says tonight will change the sad reality of the America he has given us:
- Our economy teeters on the edge of recession while property taxes spike and homeowners are losing their homes at record levels;

"That's how Lincoln won the presidency,"

"He will continue. He's been pushing all the major issues, and he's picking up momentum. A win would be great," she added. "The problem is, we have two celebrity candidates, and my dad's message is drowned out in the media. When people hear my dad's message, they respond to it."

"I think what he's doing today, talking to these young voters, that's really important. Because it's very hard for us to think that our voice is being heard," Cate Edwards said. "I think most young voters feel that our democracy has been taken away from us, and I think that most of us realize that this election is a big step towards taking it back."

His hardcore supporters here seem neither downcast nor resigned; most are as indignant about his treatment in the media and as feisty about what lies ahead as the candidate is.

Fred Crenshaw, a 69-year-old retired postal worker who came to see Edwards at a hamburger stand in rural Laurens yesterday, said the political media is "obsessed" with Clinton and Obama.

"You watch these shows - which being retired, that's all I've got to do - and they’re like the Golf Channel on Tiger Woods," he said. Still, he and other backers said they still believed Edwards could win South Carolina.

"I'm hoping the press is proven as wrong as they were in New Hampshire," said Nancy Allen, a 60-year-old retired middle school teacher from Greenville, referring to Clinton's surprise victory.

Allen's daughter, Katherine King, 30, said she knocked on 90 doors for Edwards on Thursday and found surprising support for him, even in conservative neighborhoods.

"Greenville is so Republican, when I was canvassing I expected Republicans to be really mean," she said. "But the reception for John was overwhelming."

Almost universally, his fans said that even if he loses South Carolina, they hoped Edwards would stay in the race until the national convention in August, because they believed he enriched the debate or they thought he could be a compromise candidate at a brokered convention.

"That's how Lincoln won the presidency," said Karen Reagle, 65, of Atlanta, who came to South Carolina to volunteer.

I'm not sure why the best candidate (John Edwards) isn't pulling ahead yet but there's still plenty of time.

Truman's Conscience nicely covers John Edwards' spot-on take on health care as opposed to the disappointing ideas of clinton and obama. This is from the New York Times interview.

It's so funny to me that I've seen folks try to talk John out of continuing. I'm pretty sure when I get home today my campaign buttons and banners will be waiting for me.

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you.
