Sheriffs VS Developers

I'm really torn in my thoughts on this (but yknow I've been sitting in the tire store preparing a federal lawsuit for a few hours so .... could be I'm working out a good PEEVE and can't think along my usual left angles)

But, what the hell?? We ALL know that sheriff and developers are on the same team. Maybe this means that is not true in EVERY county but it definitely IS true in Hillsborough County and that's provable beyond a shadow of a sniggling doubt. Of course, they're getting away with murder so .... well, let's just see what happens when the PURRRfect storm meets the filth and slime. To my mind, the storms always clean up the world. Nothing more refreshing than seeing the world cleaned as long as no one is harmed by the winds and rain.

Anyway, this dickhead sheriff in Panama County: "It's not wrong for them to run, but it's not wrong for us to chase them either," said Sheriff Frank McKeithen, who created his Illegal Alien Task Force in April to target construction sites in this Florida Panhandle county."

He refers to allegedly illegal aliens in this instance:

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - The sheriff's department has developed a remarkably effective — and controversial — (i'll say) way of catching illegal immigrants: Deputies in patrol cars pull up to a construction site in force, and watch and see who runs.
Those who take off are chased down and arrested on charges such as trespassing, for cutting through someone else's property, or loitering, for hiding out in someone's yard, or reckless driving, for speeding off in a car.
U.S. immigration authorities are then given the names of those believed to be in this country illegally.

Nothing like going out and creating crime. I hope they sue the living bejesus out of him.

AND, I hope that they then sue the developer who is likely stealing them blind.

In the case of illegal aliens vs. the Sheriff vs. the Developers ... I'm for the illegal alien.
