Yea we noticed THREE SHOOTINGS

You should tell them what you think. Law enforcement always has the same litany. They want to go home and see their wives and children. So do all of us.

I have no objection to being forced to take a life. I just don't think that the ones I read qualify and that's that. Call it what you will. IF some guy was running at me with a knife my first thougt would NOT be to shoot him. Sounds jacked up.

When they weren't giving the names of the shooters, though ... that was chilling. They act like they're doing us a favor by being expedient with information on shootings. Not so much. It's a public record.

Obsiously there has been a hue and cry. GOOD !!!! Let them go home safe. Let the citizens go home safe. Some officers create the jacked up people they run into. IF they'd be sure that doesn't go on things would be safer all around.

HIDING SHOOTER OFFICER'S NAME AGAIN !!!

People, it's the little things like this that are THE BIGGEST SIGNS of we need to get these people WE PAY TO PROTECT US(LMAO that's not even in their job description and if you don't believe ME then read it for yourself) back under OUR control not running amok in their fantasy of a police state.

THIS MUST STOP.

THIS is the THIRD time in the last two weeks that they have hidden the name of the shooter until they get the story straight.

THIS IS NOT THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE.

When a POLICE OFFER shoots and KILLS a citizen it is OPEN RECORD.

NOT FUCKING TOMORROW, NOT LATER, NOT NEXT WEEK.

NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW.

When there's a body WE WANT A NAME.

STOP IT.

Contact the officer in charge and demand that they release the name of the shooter. In the case he's hiding behind God's shield.

New Port Richey officer shoots, kills knife-wielding man
NEW PORT RICHEY — A man was shot and killed at an apartment complex Friday night after he charged at two police officers with a large knife, according to the New Port Richey Police Department.
Two New Port Richey police officers responded to a domestic disturbance call around 7:30 p.m. at 6130 Corson Avenue, according to Lt. Jeffrey Harrington. A man there ran at them with a knife and that the officers then "defended themselves," Harrington said.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement identified the man with the knife as Mark Brooks Lee. But the state would not release any other information about him. Harrington also would not release the names of the officers involved in the shooting.
FDLE and the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office are both conducting parallel investigations of the incident. Harrington said New Port Richey police also is doing its own internal investigation.
The officer who shot the man was put on paid administrative leave while the incident is reviewed.
