Bob E. Lyons, Senior Pastor
Reverend Lyons is a graduate of a number of schools inclusive of Lee University, Mississippi College, Emory University and Columbia Theological Seminary. He has received degrees from each of these institutions as well as extensive post-graduate studies in "Pastoral Care and Counseling" at Emory University.
Reverend Lyons has ministered since the age of 18. He has 40 years of service in Tampa, Florida. His pastorate includes 23-1/2 years as Senior Pastor of Tampa's University Church of God, during which time he oversaw -- and personally participated in -- construction of the present church campus, now appraised at approximately $9 million. The church was debt-free during his administration. He has served as Pastor of Covenant Cathedral for 15 years and was appointed Pastor of the New Life Church in the fall of 2008.
Many will recognize Reverend Lyons as the Executive Producer and Speaker for "Sound of the Spirit," a weekly television broadcast for14 years. "Sound of the Spirit" was honored with three consecutive "Golden Mike" Awards. The program aired on two major television affiliates' local stations and was seen by millions on the PTL and CBN satellite networks. Numerous other cable outlets aired the program weekly.
Others will recognize Reverend Lyons from his tremendous visibility in community projects throughout the Tampa Bay area. He served for a number of years on the Executive Council of the Tampa Ministerial Association, twice as its President. Further, he served as a member of the Executive Committee for the first Billy Graham Crusade in Tampa, and as a counselor during the second Crusade. Reverend Lyons wrote the "Standard Operating Procedures" for the Tampa Fire Department Chaplaincy and served as its Chaplain for a number of years.

Harold Stoneman, Asst. Pastor

Reverend W. Harold Stoneman, Pastor/Evangelist, has ministered in this area for over 42 years. He is past President of the Tampa Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of North America.
Reverend Stoneman began his ministry at the age of 15 and has served churches in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Gainesville, Tampa, and Dover, Florida.
Reverend Stoneman's main goal has always been to edify the Church and win the lost to Christ. He and his wife, Mary Ellen, are happy to be assisting Pastor Lyons at New Life, and invite their friends to come and visit.
