Two Very Different Men

*******************************************************************************************

Iacocca Weighs In ...

"Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening?" Iacocca writes. "Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder. We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, 'Stay the course.'"

YEAH WHERE THE HELL IS OUR OUTRAGE ?? Well, I know where mine is and where some peoples' is. Don't hide it. You're not alone.
He needs to get the F out of my White House. Legally and all but OUT !

In sharp contrast to some papers here local. Making it up as they go along
In a book to be released Tuesday, the former Chrysler CEO -- who supported Bush's first campaign in 2000 but backed Sen. John Kerry four years later -- accused Bush of leading the nation to war "on a pack of lies" and lacking the basic components of good leadership.

"I think our current President should visit the real world once in a while," Iacocca writes, according to excerpts from "Where Have All the Leaders Gone?" released on the Web site of publisher Simon & Schuster.

The book, co-written by New York journalist Catherine Whitney, comes 23 years after Iacocca's best-selling autobiography "Iacocca," which reshaped the way the publishing industry viewed business books. USA Today recently ranked the book among the 25 most influential among publishers and readers over the past 25 years.

My deep, heartfelt, loving, American immigrant (just like the rest of you, yeah even you masons/firemen/bikers/tpd) personal THANKS to Lee Iacocca. Thank you, sir.
Oh, I read your first book, too. Amazing personality. Hats off to you. Speak your mind. Nothing could be more American. I just read about some school teachers scared to speak up and it made me realize something .... but that will have to wait ... I've an agenda to take care of on the light side .....

Much love to everyone ... in fact ... don't forget to LOVE EVERYONE. It's all that matters. That, and trusting in who you are.

Step it up

April 14 is the Step It Up nationwide day of action on global
warming. There are 1367 actions planned in all 50 states and there will
be lots of people at these events who will be receptive to the idea of
impeachment.

Tampa and Tampa Bay Area Folks: I guarantee there are a HALF DOZEN of these events within your local area. I just checked.

If you'd like to spread the word, I encourage you to find
a Step It Up event near you, print up a bunch of A28 flyers, and go hand them out there tomorrow. You can find all the events at http://stepitup2007.org/.

I'm attaching a PDF (see below*****) which you can use to print out A28 palm cards. What I find works well was to copy a printout onto colored paper ("Cosmic
Orange" 25 lb. stock looked great). Each sheet has four palm cards on it, so
they will need to be cut. Any copy shop can do this for you, and producing
them costs around $15-20 per 1,000 flyers. We are working on a full-page
customizable PDF flyer with lots more info, but it's not quite ready
yet.

*****The ONLY thing the flyer says is IMPEACH SPELL IT OUT
April 28, 2007 http://a28.0rg It's very easy to duplicate. Unfortunately I can't upload the PDF to blogger and am out of time.

We also need to do lots of outreach using e-mail and the Internet. I've
pasted below an announcement about A28 which you can use to spread the
word.
E-mail it to your friends! Post it on your blog! Send it to the
webmasters
of your favorite websites! If there's an A28 event going on near you

(check
the A28.org homepage for the most up-to-date list), you'll probably
want to highlight that.

Let's make sure that everybody who *should* know about A28 *does* know
about
A28.

Thank you!

Impeachment Summer Begins This Spring!

George Bush and Dick Cheney have lied the nation into a war of
aggression, are spying in open violation of the law, and have sanctioned the use of
torture. These are high crimes and misdemeanors and demand
accountability.
Since Congress doesn't seem to get it, on April 28 tens of thousands of
Americans will spell it out for them.

From giant "human murals" to skywriting over the New Orleans Jazzfest
to guerrilla light shows to banner drops inside the California Democratic
Convention, people will literally spell out the word "IMPEACH!" in all
sorts of creative ways. Please help us kick off Impeachment Summer by joining
an action or starting one of your own!

The A28 campaign has been launched by dozens of groups, including the
Green Party, Progressive Democrats of America, Code Pink, the National
Lawyers Guild, Gold Star Families for Peace, and more. Actions are being
organized nationwide, and new ones are being added daily. Some highlights
include:

* Cleveland: Presidential candidate Rep. Dennis Kucinich will speak at
an impeachment concert and party.

* Miami: A massive rally for impeaching Bush, who is delivering the
commencement address at Miami Dade College that day.

* San Francisco: 2,000 people will form a "human mural" at Ocean Beach
to spell out "IMPEACH!" with their bodies, followed by a march to Nancy
Pelosi's house for an impeachment rally.

* San Diego: Introduction of an impeachment resolution at the
California Democratic Convention. Additional protests both inside and outside the
convention. A human mural on the beach.

* New York: A human mural at Coney Island. An Impeachment Festival in
Central Park. A former paratrooper will fly a banner saying "IMPEACH!"
around the city. Guerrilla art actions in undisclosed locations
involving lasers and giant projectors.

* Washington, D.C.: A human mural impeachment potluck picnic at the
foot of the Washington monument.

* Boston: A rally at Faneuil Hall with a town crier reading out
articles of impeachment.

For complete information, including how to start your own action or
find one near you, please visit http://www.a28.org.

I'm glad to see so many vigils. I'm glad there is one in DC. I'd like to see one in Tampa. Maybe some quiet ones going on missed the publication? I hope so.

N.J. governor critical after SUV crash By GEOFF MULVIHILL, Associated Press Writer
53 minutes ago

CAMDEN, N.J. - Gov. Jon S. Corzine was in critical condition Friday but expected to recover after his SUV crashed into a guard rail while heading to a meeting between Don Imus and the Rutgers women's basketball team.

Police were searching for a pickup truck driver whose actions were blamed for the crash on the Garden State Parkway.

Corzine, 60, suffered numerous fractures, including a leg, his ribs, sternum and a vertebrae, authorities said.

The governor won't be able to resume his duties as governor for days, if not weeks, and he won't walk normally for months, his doctor said. Fortunately, he did not suffer any brain damage, said Dr. Robert Ostrum, who performed two hours of surgery Thursday night at Cooper University Hospital.

Senate President Richard Codey has taken over as acting governor.

"He's in serious shape, but he's alive and going to survive. Hopefully, he'll be back to work in a few weeks," Codey said Friday on WNBC-TV.

Corzine was in the front passenger's seat of a sport utility vehicle driven by a state trooper when a white pickup truck swerved to avoid a red pickup truck that had moved onto the highway from the shoulder, State Police Superintendent Rick Fuentes said. The white pickup hit the passenger side of the SUV, sending it skidding into a guardrail. The red pickup left the scene.

The crash occurred around 6 p.m. while Corzine was en route from Atlantic City to the governor's mansion in Princeton to moderate the meeting between the Rutgers women's basketball team and Imus.

Imus was fired from his CBS radio program Thursday amid furor about racially charged comments he made about the team on air. The closed-door meeting went on without Corzine, and lasted for about three hours.

Fuentes said it was unclear whether the governor was wearing his seat belt. State law requires front-seat occupants to wear seat belts.

Troopers in a vehicle following Corzine's administered first aid and called for help. Corzine, Trooper Robert Rasinski and a gubernatorial aide were flown by helicopter to the hospital.

When Corzine arrived at the hospital, doctors said, he was conscious but had several injuries: a femur bone broken in two places that had lacerated his skin, a broken sternum, 12 broken ribs, a head laceration and a minor fracture on a lower vertebrae. Rasinski had minor injuries and the aide was fine.

The governor was moved to the trauma intensive care unit after surgery and was listed in critical but stable condition early Friday. He was sedated and receiving pain medication.

Ostrum said a rod was inserted in Corzine's leg, and additional operations were scheduled for Saturday and Monday. The injuries were not considered life-threatening, but it would be at least three to six months before Corzine could walk normally, he said.

"He's got a pretty significant rehab in front of him," Ostrum said.

Corzine, a Democrat who gave up his seat in the U.S. Senate to become governor, went into politics after being ousted as CEO of Goldman Sachs in a power struggle in 1999. He was elected to the Senate the following year.

Codey served as acting governor for about 14 months after James McGreevey resigned in the midst of an extramarital affair with a man.

Blanks and Charges

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you. For the record, save your pennies if I've known you longer than thirty years. Out of respect for you and your family I'll leave your names out. Out of respect for you and your family I have remained silent. Apparently this same respect was not inbred in you. That's a pity but you and yours are safe with me. The ones who took it upon themselves to do your bidding against an innocent family are wide open just like they've left MY family wide open. Herewith I refer to my extended family and network many of whom are currently suffering at your hands. Be on notice.

About Me

ANYWHERE, ANYWHERE LOL, United States
I was born a citizen of the world and have remained such but along with that: I'm a long time Tampa resident. Mixed bag at that as I've seen life here from nearly all angles and while somewhere in there I became slightly indoctrinated, I'm not too proud of the way people have taken over this city and run it with an iron fist for all but some. This city is working hard on creating just two classes. Thems and them dont's and they are working hard to shove some families down into the gutter for reasons known only to them. Some might be as petty as jealousy, some might be politically motivated, some might just be stupid and all are wrong. I want to believe we can get better but that would entail some stuff that I have no control over. I only can control myself and my reactions to what occurs.
