Better Than Sex??

Okay, I'm not much for writing reviews . .. yada yada blah blah. If I say GO SEE IT: just plunk down your money and go, already ..
(AND even if you are a highbrow or think you are, back door bitches, GO SEE stepbrothers. I mean I laughed my ass off. It's usually NOT my gig but ... man, we all laughed so hard ... it was great and there is one line you will never forget)

You know how when you're deeply in love (or something like it) with someone and you have sex with this lucky individual and they with your lucky self? AND, it lasts ALL DAY LONG?

Not the sex but the feeling ... you know. And, sometimes the sex but in a serial way ... and then your children can truly be said to be born of love ....... okay I digress.... and then some



And, sometimes because life is uncertain (or because they really did pack their tour bus and leave I guess) the good feeling has to last longer because your beloved is unavailable and nothing else will EVA do???

I saw Chris Cornell (he's MINE !!! Once his wife decides she doesn't want him which will probably be never) and Linkin Park on Saturday. It's Tuesday.

The one of that cutie Mike Shinodo was during .... sorry, can't recall. It was just one big AWESOME AWESOME FEST. Slathered with awesome and coated with awesome and sprinkled with awesome dust.

Now you know why I don't write reviews. Adjectives are something I am ill-acquainted with. (right)

And, in all seriousness ... when pieces of my life were blasted away and lying here and there all over the motherfucking country (world), Chris Cornell and Tom Morello and the rest of AudioSlave picked up (more than) a few of the pieces of my life and urged them back into my unwilling hands. So, I owe them for that and it's not always a nice feeling .... you know ... it's good but I'm so gd angry that I was so distracted while so much was being done to fuck so many over. And sometimes I'm just angry that I couldn't remain in that reverie .. it was okay there but ... I wasn't doing my part. (and just one lil bitty person not doing their part is a fuck up unknown) I know others understand what it is when a couple of strangers reach inside your range and diddle the knobs .... HOW do they do that?

They be human. That's how. That's why the rest of that bullshit that the silly strangers pull doesn't even phlaser me. It's too much like dirty play-doh life. I waste my best writing HERE.





And, so yes, I do believe that it's possible they are part-god. Like the rest of us. See it in each other. It's so easy with some of us. Maybe the hard ones are more worth it? Doubtful but I have a hard time seeing them over the whistling anyway ... you want my attention. You get it. What do you DO with it? This is why I stopped letting you waste my time. Screw you. Talk if you want but save the circus acts okay? Please. They're harmful for the atmosphere.

The video for this song turned out SO GOOD that I want to share it in one way but a. I'm not sure that's legal. B. It's kinda private .... they're doing Bleed it Out. Second encore. Concerts are very stagey now. This is the first moment Chester Bennington enters the stage .. he walks behind Mike and then Mike follows him (it's a VERY cool moment in voxland-ese) and then in the next few frames he's back standing where Mike was. They're good performers without being artsy and stuffy about it. Cute as buttons; they're having fun. Chris Cornell had fun. It was very obvious. Very good connection with the audience. I was very disappointed when Tom Morello and Chris Cornell folded Audioslave but Thank God they were there with their good shit or who knows???? Tom Morello comes from more of an activist background, union-organizing, as I do and maybe that was a little too outfront for Cornell ... Linkin Park raps it and sings it but don't know how much they get out there and activate as Tom does. Anyway, Chester got onstage with Chris Cornell during HIS set and then Chris came back and did Crawling.

A golden moment: I thought they weren't going to do Bleed it Out so I started doing it myself while we were trying to get them back onstage .... and my bro in the pit said .. SHUT UP. (kindly enough) Above is Johan, mr magic fingers of linkin park (people were joining in with me; I think it was going to get uglier than sin and maybe create another world famous rock group) L M A O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a good laugh and I said well IF they aren't going to do it I know all the words .... and at that very moment ..... du du du du du .. actually they had street drum corps beat it in and it was SO FUCKING PRIMAL.

Yeah, it was Saturday but in my sides I'm still there and will be for awhile.

TAMPA -- The suspicious package detonated by a bomb squad this afternoon near the intersection of Bearss Avenue and N Florida Avenue turned out to be nothing more than a suitcase filled with clothes, authorities say.
Deputies were called to a parking lot outside McDonald's at 10:30 a.m. to investigate what was described as a suspicious package, and bomb technicians were summoned shortly thereafter. Not knowing what was inside the suitcase, they decided to blow it up, said Debbie Carter, a spokeswoman for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Only afterward did they find out that it only contained clothes. Carter said deputies don't know who owned the suitcase.

White House denies fake Iraq-al-Qaida link letter By BRETT J. BLACKLEDGE, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - The White House and the CIA on Tuesday adamantly denied a report that the Bush administration concocted a fake letter purporting to show a link between Saddam Hussein's regime and al-Qaida as a justification for the Iraq war.

The allegation was raised by Washington-based journalist Ron Suskind in a new book, "The Way of the World," published Tuesday. The letter supposedly was written by Tahir Jalil Habbush al-Tikriti, director of Iraqi intelligence under Saddam Hussein.

"The White House had concocted a fake letter from Habbush to Saddam, backdated to July 1, 2001," Suskind wrote. "It said that 9/11 ringleader Mohammad Atta had actually trained for his mission in Iraq thus showing, finally, that there was an operational link between Saddam and al-Qaida, something the vice president's office had been pressing CIA to prove since 9/11 as a justification to invade Iraq. There is no link."

Suskind said the letter's existence had been reported before, and that it had been treated as if it were genuine.

Denying the report, White House deputy press secretary Tony Fratto said, "The notion that the White House directed anyone to forge a letter from Habbush to Saddam Hussein is absurd."

Fratto and former CIA Director George Tenet also rejected Suskind's allegation that the U.S. had credible intelligence, before the 2003 invasion of Iraq, that Saddam did not possess weapons of mass destruction. It was supposedly British intelligence, based on information from a senior Iraqi official.

Fratto said U.S. and other intelligence agencies believed Saddam harbored such weapons and that Saddam had tried to make his neighbors believe he had them. In the end, no such weapons were found, undercutting Bush's main reason to go to war.

"We know now that those estimates were wrong, but they were the estimates we all relied on," Fratto said. "Regardless, military force in Iraq was used because Saddam Hussein defiantly failed to comply with the 17 UN Security Council resolutions Iraq was subject to."

Tenet, in a statement distributed by the White House, also issued a denial about the supposedly fake letter. "There was no such order from the White House to me nor, to the best of my knowledge, was anyone from CIA ever involved in any such effort," he said.

"It is well established that, at my direction, CIA resisted efforts on the part of some in the administration to paint a picture of Iraqi-al-Qaida connections that went beyond the evidence," Tenet said. "The notion that I would suddenly reverse our stance and have created and planted false evidence that was contrary to our own beliefs is ridiculous."

Suskind told The Associated Press that the criticism from the White House and Tenet were expected. He said Tenet "is not credible on this issue" and the White House "is all but obligated to deny this."

"If they go in the other direction, I think they're probably going to have to start firing people," Suskind said.

In his book, Suskind writes that Tenet gave Rob Richer, the CIA's former head of the Near East division and deputy director of clandestine operations, the fake letter during a fall 2003 meeting. Suskind quotes Richer as saying, "George said something like, 'Well, Marine, I've got a job for you, though you may not like it.'"

Suskind wrote that "Richer remembers looking down at the creamy White House stationery on which the assignment was written." He quotes Richer as saying, "This was creating a deception."

Suskind also quotes John Maquire, who oversaw the CIA's Iraq Operations Group, about the alleged fake letter. "When it was discussed with me, I just thought it was incredible, a box-checking of all outstanding issues in one letter, from one guy," Suskind quotes Maquire as saying.

Richer and Maquire, who both left the CIA in recent years, could not be reached Tuesday for comment about the book.

Tenet also challenged Suskind's assertion that the U.S. ignored intelligence that Saddam did not have weapons of mass destruction.

"As Mr. Suskind tells it," Tenet said, "the White House directed (and CIA allegedly went along with) burying that information so that the war could go ahead as planned. This is a complete fabrication. In fact, the source in question failed to persuade his British interlocutors that he had anything new to offer by way of intelligence, concessions, or negotiations with regard to the Iraq crisis and the British on their own elected to break off contact with him."

Tenet said, "There were many Iraqi officials who said both publicly and privately that Iraq had no WMD but our foreign intelligence colleagues and we assessed that these individuals were parroting the Baath party line and trying to delay any coalition attack. The particular source that Suskind cites offered no evidence to back up his assertion and acted in an evasive and unconvincing manner."

Suskind wrote that Habbush first told British intelligence agent Michael Shipster in January 2003 that invading forces would not find the weapons in Iraq.

"After being told that Habbush had said there were no WMD, Bush was frustrated," Suskind wrote in the book, quoting Bush telling an aide, "Why don't they ask him to give us something we can use to help us make our case?"

Suskind quotes Richer as saying Habbush's information was disregarded by an administration determined to invade.
