Hair loss can have several causes and underlying reasons. In this article we will briefly examine the most common ones. There are 2 kinds of hair loss. One that involves scarring of scalp tissue due to inflammation and tissue destruction and another which involves no scarring. Skin problems like psoriasis can but rarely cause hair loss. Hair loss as a result of scarring can occur from infections, either bacterial or fungal, that travel deep into the skin. Other infections or tumors can also cause scarring. Little hair growth can be hoped for if scarring is present. Keep in mind that sudden and severe hair loss is usually due to acute stress or a sudden toxicity or poisoning to the body. Chronic hair loss is commonly due to hormonal and nutritional factors or a slow chronic toxicity. Toxicity causes hair loss because the toxins interfere with the nutrients and hormonal substances that help hair growth. Some toxins interfere with the glands or organs that govern these nutrients. They may also damage the hair follicle. Care should always be taken in washing and massaging the scalp so as to remove oils, dead skin and other debris. These material can clog the follicle and interfere with hair growth. CANDIDA AND PARASITES The same yeast that causes vaginal yeast infections can cause hair loss. This yeast lives in the intestinal tract and is normal in small amounts. Antibiotics, stress, high sugar diets and other factors can cause this yeast to overgrow out of control. Both Candida and Parasites rob the body of nutrition. They live in the intestines and eat our food. Further, they prevent your body from absorbing vitamins, minerals and proteins necessary for hair growth. The correct parasite and candida elimination program can many times reverse the hair loss problem. However many candida and parasite programs fail. You must make sure that the program you are doing is effective. LOW THYROID A common cause of hair loss is low thyroid. The thyroid gland produces hormones that help spark our metabolism and keep our body temperature normal. If our body temperature drops even slightly below what it should be, many chemical reactions in the body either stop or slow down. Among these chemical reactions are those involved with hair growth and health. Hair loss is a major symptom of low thyroid. The new thyroid protocol that I have been developing has been very successful in restoring thyroid function. Unfortunately, in some cases, thyroid hormone medication is needed. Even if this is the case, the thyroid protocol assists the body in using the hormone medication. In many cases, without taking the thyroid protocol, the medication works very poorly. This is because the body is lacking important nutrients that naturally work with the hormone to help it carry out its actions. VITAMIN AND MINERAL DEFICIENCIES Zinc, iron, B vitamins, essential fatty acids, amino acids and other nutrients are responsible for hair growth. If these deficiencies occur ,for whatever reason, hair loss is likely. These deficiencies can result from many of the problems referred to in this article as well as poor diet. Dr. David Watts of Trace Elements inc. has recently observed that magnesium deficiency is commonly found in hair loss. Proper testing of urine, blood and hair (to reflect tissue levels) is important to assess nutritional needs. Guessing by symptoms can fail miserably. An excess of a nutrient can sometimes create the same symptom as a deficiency of that same nutrient. This is why testing is so important. Many years ago, I experimented with questionnaires to evaluate deficiencies. I found them to be useful tools, but not accurate enough to rely on. PROGESTERONE AND TESTOSTERONE Progesterone is a female hormone that is essential for proper thyroid function. As a result, a deficiency of progesterone can lead to or worsen a thyroid problem. A women suffering from hair loss should note if it worsens or only occurs at certain times of the menstrual cycle. Testosterone is known to be responsible for male pattern baldness in men when it or its helpers (receptors) are too high. Testosterone has been used to treat lack of libido in men and women, bone loss and it encourages muscle gain and fat loss. However, it should be taken only if found deficient by testing. Many natural substance are now being used that help the body naturally produce the hormone on its own. I do not recommend the use of synthetic hormone medications. ESTROGEN AND COPPER EXCESS Both estrogen and copper are antagonist to zinc. Zinc deficiency has long been recognized as a factor in hair loss. New vitamin formulations have recently be developed that help the body lower copper and balance estrogen. We have used the supplements with very good success. STRESS AND CORTISOL EXCESS Stress has been associated with hair loss for many years. During times of extreme stress, the body loses large amounts of vitamins, minerals and protein ( in the form of nitrogen) in the urine. This sudden loss of nutrients has been thought as a factor in hair loss. The stress may be caused by illnesses such as scarlet fever, it may follow pregnancy or other illnesses. During times of stress cortisol levels also increase. Cortisol is a hormone produce by the adrenal glands. It has many important functions. However, in excess, I believe that it can trigger hair loss as well as bone loss. If cortisol is found elevated by saliva testing, a protocol does exist that will normalize it. So far, this program has been 100% successful. TOXIC METALS One of the most common causes of hair loss I have seen in my 15 years as a health practitioner. Yet, it remains unknown and unseen by mainstream medicine. Lead, cadmium, mercury, iron, aluminum and copper are the most common causes of hair loss. Other elements such as manganese, chromium, arsenic, titanium amy be involved. Lithium and selenium toxicity have been well documented as causative agents in hair loss. Toxic metals usually do not appear in a blood test unless the person is suffering with extreme poisoning. However they will show in the hair or finger nails if the person is suffering with slow, long term exposure to the metals. This is the most common type of exposure. Toxic metals are referred to as heavy metals. They do not easily move out of the body and will accumulate in the joints, bone, liver and other organs and glands. They need to be removed by taking specific vitamins that drive them out. Hair testing has been recognized by the EPA as an effective means of testing for toxic metals. Testing is the key factor in understanding how the body is being effected and what should be taken to correct the problem. Both poor hair and nail growth and hair loss can be caused by toxic metals. Many hobbies and occupations involve exposure to toxic metals. Examples are: painting, arts and crafts, electrical work, soldering, jewelry repair etc. Any activity that involves working with metal filings or dust can result in toxic metal overload. CHEMICAL TOXICITY Chemical toxicity from various sources can contribute to hair loss: chemo therapy, thallium compounds ( rat poisons) and other medications. Always check with your pharmacist to see if your medication can be causing your hair loss. The list of chemicals that may cause hair loss would be a mile long and not definite. However, I will list chemical agents that could possibly cause hair loss. CHEMICAL AGENTS THAT MAY CAUSE HAIR LOSS:
PESTICIDES
RADIATION TREATMENT
CHEMO THERAPY
IONIZING RADATION(NUCLEAR RADIATION, X RAYS, ULTRA VIOLET, RADON GAS, ETC.)
RADON
RANCID OILS
FORMALDEHYDE
BENZENE
There are detox programs that can address each toxicity. A general detoxification program can be done to address any and all of them. My experience has been that most hair loss can be corrected but only if the correct causes are found. There is no one magic pill that corrects it regardless of what is wrong. Proper testing will discover the reasons why. Then the correct treatment can be used. Many times improvements can occur in just a few weeks, so there is hope! Abstract:A type of water soluble foam fire extinguishing composite material includes a foaming agent, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN), and water. Said sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN) is a replacement for halogenated hydrocarbons, and exerts an extremely great effect on cooling and control of the intensity of a fire; because it has almost no effect on ozone in the stratosphere, it will not worsen global warming.
Claims:1. A water soluble foam fire extinguishing composite material consisting of at least 0.5 g foaming agent and 1.5 g sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN) in 1 liter of water.
Description:BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0001]The present invention relates to a type of water soluble foam fire extinguishing composite material, which is a composite material with high fire extinguishing performance and environmental safety, and no toxic to the human body. Said composite material has almost no effect on the decomposition of the ozone layer, and has virtually no tendency to worsen the well-known phenomenon of greenhouse heating. In contrast, the composite material has extremely good fire extinguishing performance and ability to control the intensity of a fire. It is not toxic to the human body (and will not cause corrosion injuries), is not strongly corrosive, and will not cause the aftereffects of water fire extinguishing (such as severe water damage). [0002]While the global economy is growing rapidly and the world population is swelling, usable land is increasing scarce. Continuous growth appears set to continue well into the future. Many countries are striving to gain more living space within their limited territories, and Taiwan is no exception to this trend. But since skyscrapers and high-rises are springing up throughout Taiwan in order to make the most of Taiwan's limited land area, high-rise safety has become increasingly important. In particular, protection against fire and fast means of fire extinguishing are vital to maintaining safe high-rise buildings. But because most people do not know how to prevent and extinguish fires, and because most ordinary homes have their own specific fire extinguishing methods, people inevitably become panicky and don't know what to do when a fire occurs. People thus often fail to use fire extinguishers in a speedy and effective manner even when they are available. And as a result, if a fire is allowed to grow too large, it may already be too late by the time fire extinguishers are used. [0003]Two Important Factors Must be Kept in Mind When Extinguishing a Fire: [0004](1) Combustible materials must be kept away from air. (2) The high temperatures needed for ignition must be avoided or reduced. Because of this, people can put out small fires by covering the combustible materials with a blanket or layer of foam and thereby keeping them away from oxygen in the air. The customary response of pouring water on burning material to put out the fire works by reducing the temperature to a point where combustion cannot occur, and it can be very effective. In addition, water -can also smother a fire or separate the burning materials from the air. And because water is readily available in most ordinary homes, the first thing that appears in people's minds when a fire occurs is to use water to put the fire out. But although spraying water on a fire can put it out, the use of water in fire extinguishing can damage the structure of the building and articles in it. People often forget this fact. Nalogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agents were introduced starting in the 1980's in an effort to alleviate the damage caused by the use of water in fire extinguishers. Halogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agents can not only effectively put out fire, but also cause only minimal damage to buildings and objects in them. [0005]At present the most commonly used halogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agents are the brominated carbon compounds Halon 1301 (CF.sub.3Br) and Halon 1211 (CF.sub.2ClBr). It is generally accepted that these brominated fire extinguishing agents are extremely effective at extinguishing fires that are still in the early stages of growth. These fire extinguishing agents work by decomposing in the elevated temperature of a fire and generating bromine-containing products, which can block the self-sustaining combustion of free radicals. Brominated halogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agents are therefore commonly used in tank-type fire extinguishers and automatic indoor spray systems triggered by fire detectors. [0006]As has been explained, the public is aware that brominated halogenated hydrocarbon such as Halon 1211 can stop the process of combustion. But because these fire extinguishing agents contain bromine, they are very costly and toxic to humans. Because they may irritate the heart even at low concentrations, bromine-containing substances are not suitable for long-term use. [0007]The use of brominated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agents has encountered strong opposition in recent years because of their ability to destroy ozone in the earth's stratosphere. In particular, the role of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in damaging the ozone layer has inspired great interest in the development of alternative cooling agents, solvents, and foaming agents. The public currently feels that brominated hydrocarbons such as Halon 1301 and Halon 1211 are as harmful to the ozone layer as CFCs, and their extreme stability also enables them to play a role in the further environmental problem of greenhouse warming. [0008]As a consequence, in view of the foregoing disadvantages of halogenated hydrocarbon fire extinguishing agents and the fact that most people responding directly to the outbreak of fire try to put it out using readily-available water, the inventors have developed and extensively tested the composite material comprising this invention. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0009]The chief goal of this invention is to provide a fire extinguishing composite material, and specifically to provide a low-cost water soluble foam fire extinguishing composite material comprising a foaming agent, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN), and water that is not toxic to the human body or the environment. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [0010]In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims. [0011]The present invention is based on the discovery that the use of effective amounts of a composite material comprising a foaming agent, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN), and water can prevent or effectively extinguish the combustion of combustible matter. Especially when used in enclosed spaces, this composite material will not cause the decomposition of ozone in the stratosphere or worsen the so-called greenhouse effect. The composite material contains 0.5 g EMAL--a foaming agent familiar to the public--and 1.5 g of sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN) per kilogram of water. One kilogram of the composite material can be dissolved in 500 kg of water, and can generate a fine foam at a rate of 100 mm.sup.2/sec. after mixing and stirring. [0012]Apart from being harmful to people and the environment, ordinary fire extinguishers are also costly to manufacture and are sold for high prices. While small fire extinguishers are often inadequate, large fire extinguishers are bulky, awkward to hold and use, take up a lot of space, and must be used according to specific procedures. As a result, at present ordinary homes and offices are by no means universally equipped with these fire extinguishers, and water sprinklers are still the most widely accepted and used fire extinguishing method. And since most premises are equipped with fire hydrants, obtaining water is very easy and convenient. Although the use of water to extinguish a fire will cause the aforementioned problem of water damage, water is still the most commonly used method of fighting small fires in enclosed spaces such as ordinary homes and offices. Water also has the advantages of low cost and good effectiveness. In view of these considerations, when a fire occurs in an enclosed space, people can pour the composite material comprising this invention directly into a pond or water tank, so that it will cut off the combustible matter from the air. And since the composite material is almost completely harmless to people and the environment, it can also be used by hand to put out a source of fire. The composite material can be kept in a disposable plastic bottle in most circumstances. This solution is inexpensive, convenient, and allows easy storage. One liter of this composite material can be added to 500 liters of water to replace the foregoing halogenated hydrocarbons; in use it will quickly lower the temperature below the combustion point and cut off the fire's air supply. [0013]In order to prevent a fire from becoming established in an enclosed space, the amount of gas or gases used must be sufficient to reduce the total amount of oxygen per mole in that space so as to inhibit or prevent the combustion of matter capable of sustaining fire and not spontaneously combustible. [0014]Depending on the particular types of combustible matter present in an enclosed space, different amounts of fire extinguishing material will be needed to suppress combustion. As is commonly known, while the combustibility of a material, which is its ability to ignite and sustain combustion under known environmental conditions, will vary depending on chemical and physics characteristics such as ratio of surface area to volume, thermal capacity, porosity, and other similar factors. For instance, thin and porous sheets of tissue paper will burn more easily than solid objects. [0015]Generally speaking, a thermal capacity of approximately 40 cal/.degree. C. and normal oxygen per mole is sufficient to prevent or suppress combustion of most relatively combustible materials such as wood and plastic. Thermal capacity exceeding the minimum requirement should ideally be provided in the case of certain highly-combustible materials so as to achieve an extra safety margin. A minimum oxygen per mole thermal capacity of 45 cal/.degree. C. is adequate to inhibit the burning of moderately combustible materials. The foaming agent, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate (DBN), and water in this composite material are able to achieve this value. [0016]The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

DAYTONA BEACH -- The same week a firefighter was twice arrested and the police chief accused a fireman of intimidating a witness, a condescending remark from a firefighter to police officers has sparked a new investigation in the city.
The city manager says at least one of the incidents has prompted an independent investigation to determine whether firefighter and fire union President Mike Tyrrell acted unprofessionally at a call last week at the home of an 81-year-old woman.
While Tyrrell's comments -- coming two days before Police Chief Mike Chitwood verbally jabbed the Fire Department -- gave the appearance there might be a rift between police officers and firefighters, a police union representative said Tuesday he believes Tyrrell was just behaving badly and Chitwood was just furious because of rape suspect Adam Silva.
Silva, 30, a Daytona Beach firefighter since 2007, was arrested twice last week -- once on a charge of rape and another on a charge of attempted rape, police said.
The first arrest occurred July 27 after DNA results showed that Silva had raped a woman he met at a beachfront bar in May of this year, detectives said. Then on July 28, Daytona Beach officers making a well-being check on an octogenarian at a residence at the 500 block of Halifax Avenue, said they were taken aback by "sarcastic and condescending" statements made by Tyrrell.
In separate memos to Chitwood, two policemen said they had to borrow a ladder to look into the woman's second-story window, then break down the woman's door to get inside.
The officers said a fire department supervisor -- Tyrrell -- arrived without equipment, but had his blue medical bag with him, the policemen said. At that point, one of the officers said Tyrrell extended his bag toward the officer and said: "You want to hook her up to the monitor? You guys want to handle everything else."
The second policeman's account of the incident was similar. One of the officers said he felt embarrassed that Tyrrell made the statements in front of a patient who was obviously in distress on the floor -- she had been lying immobile for 13 hours -- rather than attend to the woman's needs.
Two days later, last Friday, Silva was re-arrested on a charge of attempted rape after another woman spoke to investigators. Later that day, Chitwood said he received a phone call from the first victim, claiming someone had phoned five of her friends and tried to intimidate them to learn the rape victim's identity.
The chief said the rape victim's purse, cell phone and camera were missing when she was found abandoned on a city street and he said he believes a friend of Silva's -- probably a Daytona Beach firefighter -- took the rape victim's phone and began harassing the woman's friends. The chief challenged the Fire Department to "root out" the person responsible for the intimidation.
Fire officials say they are not investigating the intimidation claim.
On Tuesday, Tyrrell declined comment through fire spokesman Lt. Larry Stoney.
Silva, who is on unpaid leave from the Fire Department, could not be reached.
Police union representative Jeff Candage said he believes the chain of events is not linked to any animosity between police and firefighters.
"I think that was just Tyrrell being Tyrrell," Candage said. "We have no issues with the firefighters and I don't think the firefighters have any issues with the cops."
As for Chitwood's attack on the Fire Department, Candage attributed that to possible frustration with the Silva case, the intimidation of the rape victim's friends.
Tyrrell's supposed comments, meanwhile, have sparked an investigation that will be done by an "independent third party within the city," City Manager Jim Chisholm said Tuesday in a short memo.
"My expectation is that all employees represent the city and themselves in a professional manner at all times," Chisholm said. "There is no room for personal animosity between departments, especially first responders."

Check his times in the ambulance folks, they'll revolve around ooopsie DEATHS and faked up calls as he stalks people and does his other bidness for the city of tampa.

Go ahead, check.

Right now he appears to be mowing his sister's lawn on city time.

Smallest crime he's committed that I know of.

I mean if you include adding flammables to roof top hood vents so that homes catch on fire when the stove vent is used.

Isn't that right. spence??

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you. For the record, save your pennies if I've known you longer than thirty years. Out of respect for you and your family I'll leave your names out. Out of respect for you and your family I have remained silent. Apparently this same respect was not inbred in you. That's a pity but you and yours are safe with me. The ones who took it upon themselves to do your bidding against an innocent family are wide open just like they've left MY family wide open. Herewith I refer to my extended family and network many of whom are currently suffering at your hands. Be on notice.

.....
In my living room watching;
but I am not laughing ....

..... risk something, take back what's yours
say something that you know they might attack you for
cause I'm sick of being treated like I have before ....
...
Meanwhile, the leader just talks away
Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay
And the rest of the world watching at the end of the day

In their living room laughing like,

"what did he say?"

" .... courage is humankind's cardinal virtue, because ''it makes all other virtues possible."
Reverend William Sloane Coffin

......" And I dare you to ask for a lot, I dare you to hold fast to your ideals and to expound them as publicly and as fearlessly as Martin Luther King and Bill Coffin and Betty Friedan and those dozens of grandmothers arrested a few weeks ago for protesting the war in Iraq."

Every man dies.

Not every man really lives.

In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends...... Martin Luther King, Jr.

Contrary to popular belief:

Patience is NOT a virtue.

It is concentrated strength.
"The pioneers of a warless world are the young men (and women) who refuse military service."

"Only those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly" – Robert Kennedy
"Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation…want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters…. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will." Frederick Douglass, 1857
Tis nobler to lose honor to save the lives of men than it is to gain honor by taking them.

About Me

ANYWHERE, ANYWHERE LOL, United States
I was born a citizen of the world and have remained such but along with that: I'm a long time Tampa resident. Mixed bag at that as I've seen life here from nearly all angles and while somewhere in there I became slightly indoctrinated, I'm not too proud of the way people have taken over this city and run it with an iron fist for all but some. This city is working hard on creating just two classes. Thems and them dont's and they are working hard to shove some families down into the gutter for reasons known only to them. Some might be as petty as jealousy, some might be politically motivated, some might just be stupid and all are wrong. I want to believe we can get better but that would entail some stuff that I have no control over. I only can control myself and my reactions to what occurs.
