Holy SHIT !! McClellan's Manuscript breaks ranks

Maybe this is one of the 'first manuscripts' to which GONZO refers in the below post. (he and every OTHER BUSH-ITE naysaying dissension as so much short-sighted tall tales LOL)


n an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recounts the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.

"There was one problem. It was not true," McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Tuesday. "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."

Bush's chief of staff at the time was Andrew Card.

The excerpt, posted on the Web site of publisher PublicAffairs, renews questions about what went on in the West Wing and how much Bush and Cheney knew about the leak. For years, it was McClellan's job to field — and often duck — those types of questions.

Now that he's spurring them, answers are equally hard to come by.

Not surprisingly Dana-Perino-IN-A-CAN chimes in:

White House press secretary Dana Perino said it wasn't clear what McClellan meant in the excerpt. "The president has not and would not ask his spokespeople to pass on false information," she said.

Of course NOT, Dana. This resident would NEVER EVER lie to the American people OR Congress.

I always thought Scott looked very stressed for his age. I speculated at teh time that this was due to the rigors of daily lying and kowtowing to those whom he could not POSSIBLY respect. I wonder if he let anyone off the hook?? Oh, Condosleeza.

He defended his record as President Bush's legal adviser and as attorney general, saying: "It will take years for the entire story to be told. We know the first manuscripts of administrations are often incomplete, and they can be inaccurate, and they have to be discarded."

I wonder if he'd mind pointing out WHICH first manuscripts of WHICH administrations to WHICH he REFERS ?!?!?!?! LOL.

Papier Mache' Financial Crisis of Florida

It's MAINLY because I'm so SICK of hearing/reading about this imaginary financial crisis of Florida's that I finally decided to AT LEAST talk about it some. I'm willing to bet that EVERY state that has made these 'pacts' with the Indians, has then manufactured a financial crisis and THANK GOD -- gambling was THERE IN THE WINGS to save them.

I mean --- THANK GOD.

Much like the non-existent Social Security crisis ... we have the Gambling Proponents saying one thing but manufacturing financial crises and then pointing out to us that gambling will SAVE US ALL. By cracky.

It WILL, you know. Why, all you have to do is look at the condition and quality of education in public schools in Florida since the lottery has invested all those BILLIONS. Proudly holding down #48 or 49 OUT OF FIFTY.

JEB left office shrieking about the budget surplus of TWO BILLION AND the fourteen or so MILLION or maybe four HUNDRED million ... who knows since apparently that has been LOST>>> that he had left over due to his GREAT GOVERNORSHIP. Thinking he wanted to ride this crest of shit-success into the White House I've always kept a fair close eye on Jeb666.
What HAPPENED to all that excess money for the State of Florida?? WHERE is all that revenue from the Florida lottery? Did JEB666 take it WITH HIM.

This is NOT imagination; these are facts.
They've made all of these SLASHES on the mere rumor that we are going to change the property-tax structure.

I ask you this: Has anyone else noticed the BRAND NEW vehicles that these folks lavish upon themselves that cost more than a year at Princeton??? I know you have.
Now, consider that these same 'new folks' are the ones who tooled their homes on wheels to Tally to get their buddy Charlie to promise a tax fix.

Wait, you mean to TELL ME that someone who can afford to keep a BRAND NEW VETTE, a new Beemer and a NEW BENZ on the road cannot afford to pay their property taxes? COME ON.
These same folks are gambling proponents. It's why they all relocated to FL.

Charlie's trying to set it up so an eminent domain for the public good would apply for a casino because of the LAUGHABLE 'revenue created' ....

Anyway, Florida is in no crisis. It's all bullshit.

Although Gov. Crist always signs his letters with "God bless the people of Flordia" it doesn't mean that he is guided by God. I am glad to hear that he is looking out for the American dream of our children, but is that really how God would handle it?

Now, isn't it AMAZING how Bush's Secretary of the Interior was going to push a deal past Florida .. thereby threatening Florida (with all the TAX SCARES LOL!!!!!!) with loss of GAMBLING revenue. Cause you can SEE how well others states are doing by relying on gambling revenue, correct? LOL. Which is why MOST of NJ and NY gambling lil families now live HERE. OH. YAY !
By this time next year, they'll be breaking ground for the casinos ... and in my hood the surveyors have already been out. They just keep forgetting that there's this ONE LIL DETAIL >>>> they do NOT own all the property they need. LOL !!!

Attorney General Bill McCollum, a conservative Republican, had said earlier that the federal government could not force the state to sign a deal with the Seminoles. He said Wednesday that increased gambling could hurt the state.

"I think it could have a very negative impact on tourism," McCollum said. "I think it will create more criminal behavior. It always does."

But some lawmakers said the dismal economic future for the state, facing a multibillion-dollar shortfall in tax revenue, only makes gambling a bit more appetizing.
