Well, you know how I take things as signs??? Laugh all you want but after way too many instances I ignored same I finally learned to rely on my own good judgment. It works. Since I was tiny. TINY.
I'm a thinker. One day it struck me that any time I had gone what I considered 'wrong' in my life was because I had relied on someone else's judgment. My own was faultless. (for me and I think that's the way it works for all of us)
Four years old: I have seen the same phenomena over and over and then .. something would happen. Sometimes it would seem like a 'bad' thing but in the end I always ALWAYS landed well from this thing which most would be freaked out by. It's probably the same for all of us. I believe it is. Just some of us are too busy with the world as we perceive it to see the world as I perceive it and as I like to try to inveigle others to experience it.
You can and SHOULD look hard at why I used the word 'inveigle'.
At any rate, someone I love is reading ALL of stephen king's works (under his plurality of pen names) one by one which is pretty cool becuase over the years Stephen King has kept me up nights and days and nights again --- and caused me to marvel at the dark depths of his rangey mind. So, it's kinda like having a book club with me now .... the great thing is that I've created an addict and now I get to have a vicarious stephen rerun. I mean: YAY !!!
I just keep buying them. We won't run out for a while. Long while.
Long about the last third of "Insomnia" Stephen King mentions "the rise and fall of the third reich" a fifty year old book which exposes many of Adolf Hitler's personal foibles and grotesqueries and MISTAKES as (if you're looking) corrected by the Bush regime. Improved upon, if you will. This time in stealth mode. I know most of you probably didn't go run out and BUY "rise and fall of the third reich" when I advised you to, but you SHOULD have.
It's my firm belief that they'll do ANYTHING to disappear it and/or marginalize it which, as you may recall led to my final parting of the ways with buwishkipedia.

You might guess I'm looking for a first edition of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich because mine is traveling with me as all my books do. I need one to leave at home and stay in good condition. The one that was handed to me was in EXCELLENT condition but then it has now known ME for awhile. LMAO. It's okay, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I took that long forgotten and never acted upon and never-even-contemplated sentence in Stephen King's book, Insomnia, as a sign that I needed to GET BUSY reading 'the rise and fall of the third reich'. Here's what's odd: I was working on my laptop while my loved one was reading the discussed sentence from Insomnia to me and looking at some .jpg files. THE VERY NEXT PICTURE was the one that I used when I blogged 'the rise and fall of the third reich'.
Seriously.

Sometimes it doesn't seem like it unless you're RIGHT THERE.
But, considering the subject and the concentration on the sentence which I had the reader repeat to get context and setting and the next click was the picture ... it was cause for pause.
I'm gonna bring you a little bit of it today.

You won't get it anywhere else but from this book.
If you have ANY spare change .... you should REALLY REALLY consider buying and protecting and passing down a copy of this very important work. It needs to be protected and it really should be required reading.

Another nonexistent sanctuary. It made me laugh when the Tampa Trib espoused that the libraries serve as 'baby sitters'. Kids have been in libraries after school since FOREVER. Obviously they've gotten out of the business of letting a child come and read quietly. Or, perhaps someone in Tampa has not met the neo nazis of the Tampa Public Library one of whom (J Iglesias and Joe Stines) singlehandedly chased TEENS AND CHILDREN from the Jan Platt Kaminis library. Many witnesses to this, including librarians.
THIS SHIT is not happening by accident. It's part of the frog being boiled. It's really starting to get HOT now and they're desperate. They're running out of time. If, as I suspect, Obama is part of the problem .... we're well and truly fucked if Clinton drops out.
The only word IN the press and everywhere else will be racism.

This third lesson, though it was SURELY BASED ON FAULTY OBSERVATION AND COMPOUNDED OF HIS OWN IMMENSE PREJUDICES, intrigued the young Hitler. Within ten years he owuld put it to good use for his own ends.
I understood the infamous spiritual terror which this movement exerts, particularly on the bourgeoisie, which is neither morally nor mentally equal to such attacks; at a given sign it unleashes a veritable barrage of lies and sleanders against whatever adversary seems most dangerous, until the nerves of the attacked persons break down .... William Shirer: NO MORE PRECISE ANALYSIS OF NAZI TACTICS, as Hitler was eventually to DEVELOP THEM, was EVER written.
There were two political parties which strongly attracted the fledgling Hitler in Vienna, and to both of them he applied his growing power of Shrewd, cold analysis. His first allegiance, he says, was to the Pan-German Nationalist Party founded by Georg Ritter von Schonerer, who came from the same region near Spital in Lower Austria as had Hitler's family. (and as did Arnold Schwarzennager and also the POPE of what's left of the Catholic Church, helping to drive the Obama Oprah train of RACISM with his pope mobile. (in light of the background of the current 'catholic pope' and the near crumbling of the Catholic church as we know it AND the antipathy expressed towards catholics by those who claim to be jewish while they wave the flag of israel around .... you DO GET the significance of that sentence, right???) The Catholic Church is NOT standing in the way anymore, is it?? THIS is a VERY IMPORTANT way that Bush has succeeded where Hitler feared to tread. Makes me want to go right out for Holy Communion, it does. My Grandfather has NEVER been wrong. Once. But, that doesn't count.
Though Hitler was to forget it when he came to power in Germany, one of the lessons of his Vienna years which he stresses at great length in Mein Kampf is the futility of a political party's trying to oppose the churches. "Regardless of how much room for criticsism there was in any religious denomination," he says, in explaining why Schoenerer's Lovon-Rom (waway from Rome) movement was a tactical error, "A politicaly party must never for a moment lose sight of hte fact that in all previous historical experience a purely political party has NEVER succeeded in producing a religiou reformation."

But it was the failure of the Pan-Germans to arouse the masses, their inability to even understand the psychology of the common people, that to Hitler constitued their biggest mistake. It is obvous from his recapitulation of the ideas that began to form in his mind when he was not much past the age of twenty-one that to him this was the cardinal error. He was not to repeat it when he founded his own political movement.
There was another mistake of the Pan-Germans which Hitler was not to make. That aws the failure to win over the support of at least some of the powerful, established institutions of the nation -- if not the Church, then the Army, say, or the cabinet or the head of state. Unless a political movement gained such backing, the young man saw, it would be difficult if not immpossible for it to assume power. This support was precisely what Hitler had the shrewdness to arrange for in the crucial January days of 1933 in Berlin and what ALONE made it possible for him and his National Socialist Party to take over the rule of a great nation.
In the year 2000 it was the SHREWDNESS of the NEOCONS which ALONE allowed BushCO to take over America and enable a near stranger with Nazi-ish leanings (Obama) to come so close to the highest office in the land where he will promote another someone with nazi ties to his cabinet.
Bush only needed the SUPREME COURT. Then the Army fell in line. If not, they quit or were murdered (tillman and many others' sons and daughters)
