As some of you might have guessed, I have become an 'activist' of sorts. I mean, why not? When the statement was made: 'you're either with us or you're against us' ... my side was already chosen through a family history of dedication to our fellow man and civil rights of other human beings. I'm not proud to say I was sleeping at the wheel but to tell you the truth my life was pretty darn easy. And, now -- it's a bit more adventurous. I could never see myself in the company of these sharp-eyed, new people trying to read everyone's gig and how they can 'make' them. So, here I am. By default or however. There's a ton of stuff going on to advocate for ending the war, stopping racism, impeachment of the regime, helping the homeless, keeping us out of iran, the list goes on ....

I'm just going to post some more links as I come across them. I'm not even sure yet what I'm doing but I'll be doing something. As well, I got these cool markers that you can write on your car windows with and send a message all the way you go.

I'm going to write : LOVE EVERYONE. It's the only real rule you need live by. It covers everything else.

Even though I'm stuck on stupid I believe in love and the power of same. There are a lot of people involved in this one so ... I'll look for others and post them if I find them. This is from 330 or 4 til 900 pm. Please read on ...

Enough is Enough


Next Monday will mark the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq. Across the country, MoveOn members and our allies will join together at candlelight vigils to commemorate this day, honor the sacrifices of our troops, and voice our stronger-than-ever call to bring them home soon and safe.

Selective Code Enforcement: The TAMPA style PLAN

Well, I mentioned yesterday that I was officially the last 'real' person in my neighborhood. The boys in grey have picked up their pace again and although I am sure they are trying to be more careful to be 'on call' or otherwise occupied with Hillsborough County Duty --- nonetheless they continue to make themselves highly visible to me and mine throughout the day. For awhile they replaced themselves with the bikers but then they came back strong. It's a game of some sort and they imagine they will win. They have been winning for a long time so one sees where they get that idea. There is NO oversight in Tampa. There is NO PRESS, anymore. There is NO GOOD GOVERNMENT. Oh, and they're all related. Tampa --- for Lovers.

The thing with making statements is when you can prove them, you can make them.

I imagine what kind of mind it takes to lurk around a corner (on the tax payer dollar in a tax payer purchased vehicle) (St Pete grey guy -- it's all a big brotherhood, yknow??) and wait til a guy opens my car door for me so they can whiz by 'at that very moment' and I ... well, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. THEN == today, in what was the THIRD incident of the boys in grey in less than 45 minutes .... I ended up passing by this 'gainfully employed' guy driving in front of me the whole way down the highway .... (hehe) and he was FINE AS HELL. A fine, fine guy wasting his life to perform gang behavior on women and children -- fellow citizens of the United States of America. Try to remember that. If they are fucking with ME like this to steal my property what does that MAKE THEM? It certainly does not make them true citizens of the United States of America. As well, it's disgusting. Like I said, I'm sure they're 'occupied with business' carefully documented (now, anyway) but .... I've got all I need in that area and the rest is being collected. It's a bit of a change from the TPD who used to get in front of me on Bayshore and escort me all the way down to Gandy. Then we'd all go to 7-11 together for slurpees and one actually did not manage to hide his shame. (and I loved you for it) And that's what I got out of that. That look of shame made me remember that everyone is human. In Nazi Germany the people claimed they turned in their neighbors because of fear. Had they all united instead, atrocities of all sorts would have been avoided. I'd have never turned in a neighbor ... not put blood on my hands. Anyone who helps these people with their murderous agenda, you have blood on your hands. And I know and you know who you are. But, that's not important. Changing you is important. Just change before it's too late. For your children. For their children. It hurts my eyes to see you this way.

Now, on to the big plan --- the 'people' who are taking over my hood with the help of the old hood owners, MOST of whom are/were county/city employees OR retired county/city employees OR RELATED to county/city employees, (those mixed up biker gang types which are also sposed to be holding some kinda badge ---- hehe)--- or just the totally new BOXER, MYMAMMY, NEWYORK types --- I wonder what attracted they to this neighborhood??? HAHAHA (could be that gambling license up the street and donald trump down the river .. ya think??) I mean you have to WORK to find my lil hood.... they are out water color painting their houses again (a sight unseen for so many years that it is NOTABLE) (this shit is sooo cheap that it wears off and changes colors from day to day, they ain't go NO KIND of money to waste on no mess like paint hehehe) and doing all kinds of cheap junk to make it appear that their houses have had recent work and are ship shape. -----

((((One, I swear, they have painted it fifteen times in two years ... that's when I caught on to the color-coding. Notable on the color-coding (ala george and dummy --- I'll be talking about color-coding again))))) It's not so complicated.

---- LOL, they are falling apart or pasted together --- it's a stitch -- the lil neighborhood of glue and barbed wire where love and happiness once bounced around so innocently ... The WORST offenders are located guess where?

Sure, and at one point I had probably the second nicest house in the neighborhood. (more on this another time, too hehe) Nothing special, just in good repair, well taken care of and lots of love in sight. Luckily I am big on pictures and video and have TONS of pictures of how much my house changed drastically after this gang came around to help the long-termers. No house falls in disrepair THAT FAST after a relatively unscathed shelf life of YEARS. It was one criminal act after another and it was performed to intimidate me and leave me without a choice but to get out from under. (threats to burn me out, killed my animals, threatened my children, beat up my nephew, arrested members of my family --- it goes on and on)

ALSO, some city employee came by and espied my big grand oak (I do NOT participate in Nazi-ish requests to report my trees' existence so they came to look themselves because they know they are after plowing down my hood and building casinos and the like) which caused me to follow him a bit walking because he was very hardened looking -- the way he looked at me and the way he sat observing my home was leery. (looking back this has happened so much it formed a pattern, it's what THEY ALL DO and you're paying them for it!!) This was several years ago but I have his information. (now another City of Tampa retiree, I bet, like the code enforcer, cop, etc...... but I'm sure they all got lateral transfers to some other gravy job ala tunnell) Not much later the big oak started dying. You can see where they put the crap on the tree in it's laps .... I've known this tree longer than some people I love so I take this personally. I know the hope is that it destroys my house but ... well, I won't bother telling them WHY that doesn't matter. Let them figure it out, they're so smart and I'm so stuck on stupid. (love note left on my car .... no flowers or nothing, no chocolates, just the love note written on some paper where I had been inside so they could let me know they were RIGHT BY ME --- ooooh this is scary stuff, ain't it freddy????) This is the lowest most banal form of intimidation and it is ILLEGAL stalking and it is being supported by people we are paying THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars a year.
I guess you could think I'm crazy for this, but .... then I had saved articles from the guy in South Tampa where they attacked and killed his tree. (developers and of course, City of Tampa sent their arborists out to confirm it was natural -- yet OVERNIGHT HAHAHA) I've pictified it all along as it struggled ... those bastards !!! And this is why you know what they have planned for my area is BIG !!! The trees CANNOT BE THERE as they are protected.
This is a big big big big DEAL. Or else why would the city sanction all of this gang activity and send their staff out to intimidate and harass the citizens???

OH, and the BIG FAT gambling license I can see from my door. hehe

Oh yeah, and I'm sure no one has noticed how everywhere you drive by there is poker and gambling night, now? Get ready. They're building Las Vegas and they need my house to DO IT. But, they don't want to pay for it. Instead they believe they can force me out by all the actions they are taking ... and what they are doing is illegal and it is also fraud, abuse and theft of the taxpayer dollar. I'm curious if anyone cares about that.

The boyfriend says that the rise of gambling and homelessness are among the first signs of a crumbling republic. Thanks GEORGE. THANKS PAM !!!! I think Pete Botto said it RIGHT but maybe by now he has been silenced .... sad. Maybe he's scared. They threaten and fuck with your family. They threaten heinous things and send scum into your childrens' lives. They have all the money they need to pay you BUT they don't want YOU to have it. They are the only ones who deserve to have cars and houses and cool stuff. Just ask them. Rather, just observe them.


And, also along about this time all of my friends from here and there in life became real-estate experts and tree-experts. And the ones who work at verizon tracking me and tapping my phones .... It was most engaging. The phone-tapping remains engaging ... I took out my kaleidoscope and played along and looked for other houses for a time but it was a big sideshow and I soon got bored. I can't live ANYWHERE, dude. So, I stayed put. Now, whose fault is that? hahaha. Mixed signals, gits on the loose, no one in charge. Disorganized crime. They hope to force you to rent or into a HUGE mortgage and then the next step of course is to take your source of income and you are homeless. These people are just not very nice and I am saddened, deeply saddened to see that. I have always upheld tampa people as the best people in the world. Of course, most of the people I was talking about are probably dead or gone, now. And, if you're NOT, don't be afraid. You're not alone anymore.

THEN ---- they attacked my house and my health and coincidentally a small child pointed out that the Tampa Firemen kept coming close to my vehicle and then sitting right next to me starting the siren --- the behavior has changed since the onset of the video camera but the behavior continues and the documentation is there.

I have had to put a new roof on my house, the siding will now need work, I had to put up a fence because these people are such lunatics --- trying to scare you --- I got tired of them walking up in my yard with no challenge --- now, they know they're mine. hehe

They actually seriously attacked my house. I have video of people coming in my house and doing things inside and then likely returning to their posts in another state for a cool-off period. I guess they never heard of video back up batteries for when they shut the electricity off.

Anyway, I'm sure the big plan is to get those houses looking better than they have ever looked in DECADES and then start calling code enforcement. (on guess who) I've watched them put roofs on over nothing. Seriously -- replacing no wood; just tossing some shingles up there --- over big rot holes. Nasty.

Trevor Nelson, a producer for the CBS TV news show, "60 Minutes," died on July 24 of meningitis. He was 34.

Nelson began his journalism career writing articles for The New York Times, The New Republic and The Wall Street Journal. He spent five years at Christian Science Monitor Radio before joining the Washington bureau of CBS News in 1996. He worked as an associate producer for Lesley Stahl, but was later transferred to the New York office to work for Ed Bradley.

During his seven-year tenure at "60 Minutes," Nelson served as an associate or co-producer on many news reports. In 2000, he was promoted to full-fledged producer, and worked on 20 segments, 15 of which were broadcast. Two received Emmy nominations.

Nelson regularly produced stories with correspondent Steve Kroft, including segments on disgraced journalist Stephen Glass, the New York State attorney general's efforts to clean up Wall Street and the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks. He and Kroft also produced the feature, "All in the Family," a story about how Kellogg Brown & Root, a division of the oil services company, Haliburton, scored a Pentagon contract for a major rebuilding job in Iraq. Haliburton is Vice President Dick Cheney's former firm.

I read that with typepad you have to include the ping with every post but with blogger you are just supposed to be able to add it to HTML .... so I added it as a feature and also in the template. It's just annoying. I have a few other ways of tracking but I feel like it's possible for technorati to do it's job ... so WHY ISN"T IT?????

Every Good Development Deserves A Holdout

In the same way as the great cities have pie-shaped buildings, every development worth its salt has at least one quirky holdout that serves to humble ego-driven architects and pointy-headed planners. So will Bruce Ratner's Atlantic Yards project get its very own version of Hurley's? The courts are paving the way for that possibility:

A property owner threatened by the Atlantic Yards project enjoyed a victory after a judge ruled that two of his leases were improperly acquired by the developer, Forest City Ratner.

Property owner Henry Weinstein can keep his six-story building and a parking lot on Carlton Ave., Supreme Court judge Ira Harkavy ruled Tuesday.

But it was unclear how the ruling would affect the project, which broke ground last month.

"The leases in question clearly and unambiguously required tenants to first obtain the written consent of the landlords before any assignment of the leases," Harkavy ruled in an 18-page decision invalidating both leases.

Weinstein leased his property to Brooklyn developer Shaya Boymelgreen in 1999, but he didn't expect Boymelgreen to sell the leases to Forest City Ratner, Weinstein said.

Weinstein, a critic of the Atlantic Yards project, never gave consent to the deal between Boymelgreen and Ratner, which would have allowed the latter to hold onto the leases until 2048.

"We believed from the beginning that Ratner and Boymelgreen had no right to do what they did, so this decision is no surprise," said Candace Carponter, a member of the opposition group Develop Don't Destroy Brooklyn. "As far as I'm concerned, this decision is unassailable upon appeal."

I wonder if this guy got run off the interstate and surrounded by city cops and other county and city employees and those big nasty dumptrucks of the guy winning the awards for such a great business. Or is that just because someone is trying to intimidate me? LOL ! The more I read, the more I see this ugliness everywhere, but the tide is turning.

It's sad that I had to see the people of Tampa like this. I have always loved them and now ... well, it's sad. It's sad to know what lies inside some hearts.

It's really really sad to see what people have spent years of their lives on. If they die tomorrow one of the last things on their mind is how sad they made a person who never did a thing to them. The thing is --- I'm not sad for ME, but for them.

Even after they have bothered with my child and currently send all kinds of stupid shit into his life ==== smarter people would realize how easy they are making things for us.

I'm sad for you. Life is meant for so much more. I always thought you knew that but looking back I've had time to see where things didn't seem alright. I'm sorry. And I hope you'll be okay.
