My ass
Once again, I post the entire story so it does not disappear on me.
March 6, 2007 UPDATE: here is some coverage from the St Pete Times. According to 'anonymous' below, this gentleman has passed away. Searching the OBITS at the Tampa Tribune, his name does not appear. So, his passing is unconfirmed.
Okay --- I'll just repeat -- MY ASS. Several 'reporter-type' questions come to mind when you read about this 'random' shooting. I could leave you to draw your own conclusions and I'm sure the thinking among you have. But, I thought I'd just give a hi-light to the UN-reporting done with this story and it's ties to the shooting I blogged about on January 9th involving five or six folks from the same area. (the one the Trib dropped while it had loads of time to dish about anna nicole smith. WHO??)
This is also a nice illustration which takes actual shooters all the way from that South Tampa area to a few blocks within my home and it's nice that's one picture I don't have to paint about how the family relations work, (while they pretend they don't know each other) how Tampa 'law enforcement' is deeply involved and how these people really don't live within any decent boundaries and more importantly --- how they keep trying to involve my family and I in their pointless, dangerous antics. (to start a battle to make me believe that by moving and selling my property cheap I can have peace of mind --- peace of mind can't be bought and you can't steal it from anyone)
I have to say I look and I see NOTHING they are benefiting. A few are benefiting but it's not the ones doing the work. I watch them whoring out their children after my son, degrading themselves to crawl up into our lives, seriously making complete fools of themselves. Poisoning my home, car and yard. (by the way if there's something seriously wrong with my car, there will be a heavy price to pay and I'll be editing some video so hook it up with the mechanic to get it all fixed on the sly on YOU. I won't be paying for it.)-- and then they shoot each other or the other families they are trying to take over territory from. When they bleed it over onto innocents they need to curb themselves. I didn't choose their world and I won't roll around in it with them. They brought this here and the ones who sold out to them just haven't figured out yet what they started. Fuggin Idiots. Yeah, when you come back down, I'll still be here -- not too pleased, though. Greed. You looked better less greedy. The toys have not improved you.
And, as well, I have things to talk about (which mix in with what I end up blogging about when something gets me ... involving my own personal drama so it would sure help if you'd just stop teeing em up for me and let me get on with my own rap. Or better yet, KNOCK IT OFF. That's a fading possibility according to the sounds I hear from the Jeep.
On to the questions that jump out at you:
One -- why is reading the Tampa Tribune more like the Enquirer every single day???
Two -- How many random bullets did they find in this unlucky gentleman?? (offered up by a seven year-old) (and no matter his role in life I feel bad for him, no one should be shot, no one should commit violence unto another and we shouldn't be in this GD illegal war in Iraq and you assholes need to stop creating cops and robbers shit here)
Three -- What exactly is random about following someone at FIVE AM into their place of employment (where one assumes they go regularly) ?? Sounds more like a PLAN to me.
Four -- Isn't random when it's ummmm accidental like say two people are in a gunfight and the bullet goes astray which most of the time is probably purposeful anyway??? (as in they started the gunfight to shoot the passerby, tricksey ain't they?? Think of playground bully antics and you get the picture faster) Or say some idjit is target practicing and a person happens to be walking by ... oopsie...
Folks, there are NO shooting accidents. Okay, the rare one. But they are EXTREMELY rare. So rare the Lies Printed Daily sometimes covers them after a fashion.
Five -- Anyone remember the last shootings here they called random??? I'll look for some links but they were lots of things but random. Every effort to tie them together ----
(three interstate killings)
(were they slotted accidental or random and certainly NOT a murder, clutch the pearls)
----- was met with uniquely unified opposition from the Hillsborough County Law enforcement. (we had some journalists, then) Which leads to:
Six -- What happened to the reporters from the Tampa Trib who would ask these and more questions?? Think !
Seven -- If this would have turned out to be a murder would it have been counted as accidental (random, you know) and therefore not in the murder category??
Eight -- He's the brother of a cop. That's not so random, is it?
Yep, this is my business, just like it's yours if you live in this community trying to survive the bullets flying at 'random' .... but I'd sure not be talking about it as much if people would stop crawling under my vehicle and through my yard and around my children in full view of five video cameras and a witness and fucking with my car, to boot. On top of what you are doing around my home (all taped)
and to my children and extended family --- all in an effort to steal a valuable piece of real estate. Be ashamed. That's that feeling you have underneath the denial and the .... whatever gets you through the day. (the fear??)
My sympathy to the family. Hope your brother is okay. Everyone involved should check themselves. Something's wrong with each one of you. And you know it. Take charge and kick those insane bastards to the curb before every one of you are done in. Because the way you are going -- it's coming. Please stop and check yourselves. It really doesn't have to be this way.
Police Search For Shooter In City Worker's Wounding

TAMPA - Police are investigating what they say appears to be a random shooting of a city worker early Thursday near Lowry Park Zoo.
James Valdez, 35, was listed in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital after being shot multiple times, the hospital and police said. His brother is a Tampa police officer, Alfredo Valdez Jr., who works in the crime prevention unit.
Police asked additional witnesses or anyone with information about the older-model white car involved - perhaps a Lincoln Town Car or similar model - to contact dispatchers at (813) 231-6130.
Someone attacked James Valdez after he arrived for work about 4:55 a.m. at the parks department's Clean City Division at 7525 N. Boulevard. Those offices are to the east of Lowry Park Zoo. A zoo security guard ran to help the wounded man.
Tampa police Officer Lisa Parashis, a department spokeswoman, said a zoo security guard saw a white car pull into the parking lot closely behind Valdez's four-door silver car. The guard then heard gunshots, she said.
Someone fired at Valdez repeatedly through his driver's side door, hitting him several times, Parashis said. He tried to call his brother on a cellular phone. As he drove toward the front of the parking lot, he crashed into a fence, she said. Police have no description of the shooter.
Alfredo Valdez Jr., 37, remained at the hospital throughout the day, she said. He was distraught and declined to be interviewed.
James Valdez worked for the Clean City Division for seven years, picking up litter, mowing and edging the roadways in south Tampa, said his supervisor, Jim Pinkney.
"He tried to turn the work into fun," Pinkney said. "He's very dependable, a hard worker and well-liked by his associates."
Doug Pierce, a superintendent for Parks and Recreation, described Valdez as "a nice enough guy" whose shooting had unsettled colleagues.
"Everybody knows they've got a job to do, but at the same time, they're concerned," Pierce said. "If you didn't know him, you knew of him. It affects you. It's your own back yard."
No one answered the door Thursday afternoon at James Valdez's home near the Port of Tampa.
