Crist, a Republican, and other state GOP leaders have argued Florida's diversity and size merit more influence in deciding the nation's leadership. The delegate-rich state decided the disputed 2000 presidential election.

Florida's early election could also have implications in the Feb. 5 primaries scheduled in a dozen other states, including New York and California.

This is especially important considering ROMNEY (Mr. BIG DIG) has already mentioned JEBO666 as a possible running mate. Nothing like the helping hand from the People's Governor.

Ahhhhhh, maybe all these republicans moving here will hurry and get their kids enrolled in kidcare so we can hold on to that for the less fortunate children.

But, I have learned not to worry TOO much (I mean it can get a LOT worse but ... ) McCain and Romney will pretty much cancel each other out soon enough. One hires undocumented immigrants and the other encourages him to point his lil varmint gun at them. The one who hires the undocumented immigrants also votes against their chances of achieving citizenry, compounding his IDIOCY. (this is romney which leaves McCain as the vigilante)

UPDATE: I heard a good point on a rare listen to NPR in the morning... Schrafnagel says that the new primary date won't make any difference because before they ever get to Florida, America will know who the main candidates are as they have in recent years.. I agree with his synopsis. What I THINK it's all about is that Florida and those in power are angling to swipe another Pres. election and put Jebby in the WhiteHouse. Seems odd that a Republican gov would put a paper trail (as in shaddup you got your paper trail, already ---) and a new primary date (for WHAT?) and sign it up together. While at the same time we couldn't manage to agree on anyTHING important They love to couch things in the ..... see, we're good people kinda way while they are shanking the Dems. Sorry but it's true.

It's not in the paper trail but in the way the votes are COUNTED.
And in many towns people are too intimidated to vote. (the 'wrong' way)
