Things that MAKE ME ANGRY

When really GOOD and SMART people go before I know them.

I bet you were expecting ALMOST ANYTHING from me.

You'd be surprised how FEW things make me angry.
UPDATE: I should say make me 'angry for myself or personally' I am ABSOLUTELY ENRAGED at many things. But, there's a way to deal with all of that...... and work it baby, work it.

Most things just make me roll my eyes a bit. You know I was telling my son the other day that when these thuggish folks pass me on the roadways, glaring at me and degrading themselves and their heirs and their mamas with their actions I can't let them see what's going on behind the shades. And, because of the various things they do around my home I almost always wear shades. LOL. Yeh, gotcha.

SO, if anyone is thinking of inventing some huge eyeball-y thingy that a person could perhaps install on the roof of their car that they can have a switch maybe on the steering wheel so the huge eyeball-y thingy will ROLL for them: I've got my card in hand.

Other than that, I think a LOT about Steve Gilliard who I never ''met' until I read that he was GONE over at Majikthise.

Gone from earth.

Not from US.

And, I found this at one of his writings.

It's something for some to aspire to.
I never really saw it 'prose-d' before.

And, this is why I need that eyeball-y thingy, see??

Cause I can't get DOWN AND PIGGY like those other folks. But, neither can they expect to .... errrrrr..... do anything and errr push over folks that don't roll around in the mud with pigs.

Class never runs scared.

It is surefooted and confident.

It can handle whatever comes along.

Class has a sense of humor,

It knows that a good laugh is the

best lubricant for oiling the machineryof human relations.

Class never makes excuses.

It takes its lumps and learns from past mistakes.

Class knows that good manners are nothing more than a series of small,

inconsequential sacrifices.

Class bespeaks an aristocracy that

has nothing to do with ancestors or money.

Some wealthy blue bloods have no class,

while some individuals who are

struggling to make ends meet are loaded with it.

Class is real..

It canot be faked.

Class is comfortable in its own skin.

It never puts on airs.

Class never tries to build itself up by tearing others down,

Class is already up and need not strive to look better by making others look worse.

Class can walk with crowds and keep its virtue

and talk with kings and keep the common touch.

Everyone is comfortable with the person who has

class because that person is comfortable

with himself.

If you have class,you have got it made.

If you do not have class,

no matter what else you have,

it does not make any difference.

And, there you have it.


Hats off to a class act who was on the wrong list.

(ALMOST) Nothing meant more to me since the year 2000 than the kind words that Wally extended towards me. Wally -- a genius. When he commended me .. WHATEVER. That made up for all the rest you m'fers. IN SPADES. In advance. Ya can't TOUCH THIS. Wally and I: the BIG IDEA FOLKS. Sorry bout that but give it time and you'll catch up. It just IS. Not conceit. JUST IS.

But, I DO like Cornel West and so did Steve and Cornel totally DISSED OBAMA.

Rings kissed? It's that he has NO RECORD of working for black voters outside of Illinois. His number of white supports makes many black people suspicious that he's really a liberal version of Harold Ford.I would say Dr. West looks at Obama and wonders if he's a trojan horse for interests which don't represent the wider black community.No one knew who he was before 2004. No one knows where he really stands on important issues to black America.

And, that pretty much mirrors ALL I've ever said. Except for I would say: OR ANY FUCKING AMERICANS. Wow< Steve. You're like my TWINNER. My big black TWINNER. I'm so sorry that your family and THE WORLD LOST YOU.
