It's MAINLY because I'm so SICK of hearing/reading about this imaginary financial crisis of Florida's that I finally decided to AT LEAST talk about it some. I'm willing to bet that EVERY state that has made these 'pacts' with the Indians, has then manufactured a financial crisis and THANK GOD -- gambling was THERE IN THE WINGS to save them.

I mean --- THANK GOD.

Much like the non-existent Social Security crisis ... we have the Gambling Proponents saying one thing but manufacturing financial crises and then pointing out to us that gambling will SAVE US ALL. By cracky.

It WILL, you know. Why, all you have to do is look at the condition and quality of education in public schools in Florida since the lottery has invested all those BILLIONS. Proudly holding down #48 or 49 OUT OF FIFTY.

JEB left office shrieking about the budget surplus of TWO BILLION AND the fourteen or so MILLION or maybe four HUNDRED million ... who knows since apparently that has been LOST>>> that he had left over due to his GREAT GOVERNORSHIP. What HAPPENED to all that excess money for the State of Florida?? WHERE is all that revenue from the Florida lottery? Did JEB666 take it WITH HIM.

Mayors and City Councils and County Commissions all over the place in Florida (OR, is that just Tampa and Largo and St Pete, the hand-holders?) have been PUBLICLY slashing services and jobs but privately creating MORE jobs and buying MORE VEHICLES for the city/county employees. This is NOT imagination; these are facts.
They've made all of these SLASHES on the mere rumor that we are going to change the property-tax structure.

I ask you this: Has anyone else noticed the BRAND NEW vehicles that these folks lavish upon themselves that cost more than a year at Princeton??? I know you have.
Now, consider that these same 'new folks' are the ones who tooled their homes on wheels to Tally to get their buddy Charlie to promise a tax fix.

Wait, you mean to TELL ME that someone who can afford to keep a BRAND NEW VETTE, a new Beemer and a NEW BENZ on the road cannot afford to pay their property taxes? COME ON.
These same folks are gambling proponents. It's why they all relocated to FL.

Charlie's trying to set it up so an eminent domain for the public good would apply for a casino because of the LAUGHABLE 'revenue created' ....

Anyway, Florida is in no crisis. It's all bullshit.
And, it's not even been a YEAR, yet.

The combination of the Rubio Crist theatrics may prove to be MORE FATAL for Florida than all eight years of the Bush BROS.

Where is all the construction money, pavers, palm trees, new vehicles, uniforms, luncheons ... fat raises for the Mayor of Pampa, Pam Iorio ... where is ALL OF THIS coming from?? We can't AFFORD THIS.

We're in a FINANCIAL CRISIS. LOL !!!!!!!!!
