More Blackwater TIES to the top

WASHINGTON, Nov 14 (Reuters) - The State Department's top investigator recused himself on Wednesday from probes into the Blackwater security firm after discovering -- during a break in a congressional hearing -- that his brother was connected with the company. Howard Krongard, who began a hearing of Rep. Henry Waxman's government oversight committee by denying the "ugly rumors" that his brother "Buzzy" was linked to Blackwater, returned after a recess to say he had just contacted his brother and learned he had attended a Blackwater advisory board meeting. "I had not been aware of that. And I want to state on the record right now that I hereby recuse myself from any matters having to do with Blackwater," Krongard, who acts as an independent internal investigator for the State Department, told the panel.

Waxman, a California Democrat with a reputation for tenacity as an investigator, has charged Krongard with interfering in ongoing investigations to protect the State Department and White House from political embarrassment -- a charge Krongard flatly denied. "I have never impeded any investigation," Krongard said, adding he had never worked in government before now, had no political ties and never met President George W. Bush.

Republicans belittled Waxman's investigation, saying the only thing he might pin on Krongard was an abrasive management style. But they admitted surprise at Krongard's revelation his brother was in fact linked to Blackwater, after he started the hearing denying it.

"He has done you tremendous damage," said Rep. Christopher Shays, a Connecticut Republican. Krongard seemed unfazed. (ARE ANY OF THEM EVER FAZED???) "I'm not my brother's keeper, and we do not discuss our business with each other," he said.

A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard is a former executive director of the CIA. Howard Krongard is a former general counsel at Deloitte & Touche.

Krongard contacted his brother after Democratic lawmakers waved e-mails showing Blackwater had invited him to be on the company's advisory board and attend a meeting in Williamsburg, Virginia, this week.

Just out of nowhere like that huh??

Several current and former staffers from Krongard's office said he threatened investigators with retaliation if they cooperated with Waxman's probe. Krongard is also accused of telling the staff not to cooperate with the Justice Department, and impeding investigations into alleged arms smuggling by Blackwater and construction problems with a massive new U.S. embassy in Baghdad.

I'm puzzled why the lack of cooperation with the DOJ .. does this mean there is someone left there who GIVES A SHIT???
Folks, before you press that Republican button again .... try to remember some of these slugs. There is NO WAY you can deny what has gone on for SEVEN LONG YEARS.

Iowa Endorsement goes to Edwards !!

Bleeding Heartland has the story that Iowans for Sensible Priorities is going to be endorsing John Edwards today. Edwards wins the endorsement over Obama. I know that Biden and Richardson were also lobbying hard to win this endorsement. Richardson has even worn the groups lapel pin at some of the debates.

This quote from ABC news really stuck and explains why Edwards won the endorsement and hits Obama hard in the process.

The decision to endorse Edwards over Illinois Sen. Barack Obama came down to “courage versus caution,” according to the group’s executive director.
“There’s a rhetoric gap with Obama,” executive director Peggy Huppert told ABC News. “He told me personally: ‘Trust me. I think the “courage over caution” theme is one Edwards can use to distinguish himself over the other top tier candidates. It shows Obama is more like Clinton and the Washington establishment.

I need your help. Yesterday, the president vetoed the pivotal Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations bill that I guided to overwhelming passage in the Senate.

With the quick stroke of his pen, he vetoed what he described as frivolous "social spending." But the American people know there is nothing frivolous about critical funding for student financial aid, home-heating assistance, job training, community health centers, cancer and diabetes research, Head Start and mental and substance abuse services.

The president continues to play politics with our important initiatives, just as he continues to be out of step with the priorities and values of hardworking American men and women across this country.

It's time for my Republicans colleagues to think carefully about the failed Bush presidency and begin to better serve the American people that elected them by providing substantive assistant to our neighbors who need it most.

Now take this a step further and apply this to society. At some point these mokeys/people go out into the world, they go into the companies, into the schools, religious organizations, etc. Social constructs that are used to keep us in line, and teach us how to fall in line. Everytime a monkey/person get’s out of line they are punished. Some monkeys/people go through life never going after the banana, never getting out of line, and so are never attacked, and so would never understand that society is like this. Then you get those who do go for the banana, whistle-blowers, activists, dissidents, those who step out of line, those who ask the right/wrong questions, publish the news stories they should not, ones that are too independent, those who do not properly conform, etc. Then they see society for what it is.

Society has various ways for dealing with those who are not conforming, or teaching others how to conform. Drugging of young school children who are too hyperactive for their own good, School bullying, workplace mobbing, community gang stalking, the buzzsaw for reporters, religious/cult harassment, social annexing, etc. Most of society at some point will learn how to fall in line, and they too will keep others in line. Many don’t know why, but that’s the way it is, and they understand that they can get sprayed with that cold water if they don’t keep others in line.

True Majority BRING THEM HOME

It's getting DOWN AND DIRTY, guys.
Not like it wasn't before ....
BUT now they are perfectly willing to take out propaganda as in full-page ads using maimed Iraq veterans to support these bloody, illegal, immoral wars as you will see at Blast Off's article, appropriately entitled: Propaganda.
It's not so much funding the war that they are after. We've already discovered our troops are short of body armor, food and other essentials such as CARE for them after they arrive back home in whatever condition george dumps them off in.
SO, WHERE is that money going? Look around. It's going to your local police dept, fire stations, depts of transportation and etc ... all in a means to control folks and get them in a situation where they are entrapped 'regionally'.
I already note a difference being in two different counties so much. Your internet capability is controlled by where you sit while you use it. In other words, search a subject in one area and then the same hour search it in another and note the results. Regionalism is being SHOVED ON US and you DO NOT WANT IT.
End this war because this is the process by which they are extracting the dollars to achieve the hidden objectives which are regionalism, a police state and control of the citizenry to the nth.
I keep meaning to blog about the dangers of regionalism. It's a post that will require some research. It's mentioned at every huge law enforcement gathering. The object being to force or bribe or cajole citizens into the region they desire to have them and then TIGHTEN UP the controls and make it very difficult for them to ever relocate.
They don't need anyone moving around but the traffickers.
We're NOT here in America to be slaves.

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you. For the record, save your pennies if I've known you longer than thirty years. Out of respect for you and your family I'll leave your names out. Out of respect for you and your family I have remained silent. Apparently this same respect was not inbred in you. That's a pity but you and yours are safe with me. The ones who took it upon themselves to do your bidding against an innocent family are wide open just like they've left MY family wide open.
