What the County HAS the Money for

I've been upset by the senseless death of Ron Harrison. It's truly more than clockwork to me when I see ONLY DECENT guys shot down. What about these other guys? They'll live seemingly forever, stalking me all the while.



So, having said that -- (one of my friends recently related how that expression irritates him and then we laughed and made up all kindsa stuff around it and NOW I'm stuck on it --- bear with tme) --- I do not begrudge this public servant any public mourning, time and money spent and etc....



BUT, it begins to look (and probably even to his poor, grieving family, TOO) that they are using this poor man to promote their own self-interests. It's like when they kept dragging President Ford around the country for what?? A month after he died? It was obscene.


FIRST the Commissioners attempted to avoid te citizens by explaining how they needed to attend to the memorial of Ron Harrison. THEN, the memorial was just last evening which makes it even tougher to understand how that was the case oh mighty four recall commissioners AND --- the funeral is today. Which is sad. I just avoid things like that. And that's just how it is.





Any hooooo I have seldom seen a more vulgar display of excess in a 'broke' county or a sadder excuse for unveiling the rampant nationalism that this country is falling in to.

What if there had been an emergency at ANY time??? How much personnel did this require?? How many highly paid folks? HOW MANY county vehicles??

Ron Harrison, I have no doubt YOU are worth it.

I just think you were used like Gerald Ford.
