about IMPEACHMENT : A Bone to Pick with Thom Hartmann

Impeachment Vote is coming SOON SOON SOON !!!!I'm not shouting ... hehe



As many of you likely know Air America has recently been through a buy out and although they are not exactly progressive they still lean to the left.

The boyfriend is a big fan of Thom Hartmann and I'm just not sure about him (TH) yet, but, I also get the above information from the BF about the buyout which I'm researching as I talk. The giver of info... (bf) is so smart and he knows and retains SO MUCH stuff that I can't always remember the details ...

He loves Randi Rhodes.

He is VERY HAPPY that Thom Hartmann is going on the air opposite the Rush Limpaugh show to keep things balanced.

So --- needless to say we spend some time with Thom Hartmann. (mmmmhmmmm)

The other morning I sat aghast listening to Mr. Hartmann say that NM Gov. Bill Richardson would NEVER sign the 'bill' petitioning for the Impeachment of this regime. This is Senate JR 5 currently working it's way through step after step to become reality in Impeaching this regime.

I went on a mad hunt for which state would prove the most likely to get a Gov. to sign the bill (it was starting to make sense to me that a Gov. would have to sign a bill) Meanwhile, the back of my head kept repeating that the Jefferson Manual does not call for the Governor to sign. This is a RESOLUTION, not a BILL.

Finally, I called upon my friend David Swanson whom everyone can rely on for the most current and correct information concerning Impeachment and he reiterated my belief that a Governor does not need to sign for this resolution to pass.

Phew !!! --- crisis in my head averted .... (some of you KNOW what this means to America and can understand what I mean by that)

It is VERY VERY VERY notable that I have been watching this bill through New Mexico's bill-watcher and after all this time -- the site is down today for the first time !!!! Most exciting is this email I received. (and there's no Confidentiality DISCLAIMER though frankly from the reading I've done that's just to protect the company from liability not the writer and, as well, that chain was broken on the first link)

Like I said: This is the FIRST time this link has failed. EVER. Action taken the last three times I received these emails passed the resolution on through to the next committee. Originally, all these hurdles were placed in front of it which tells you that no matter what we are going to rid ourselves of this president and let the world know that we know he is WRONG. AND, it's in front of the full Senate next. Action taken means ONE THING: IMPEACHMENT WILL BEGIN !!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a lady who was live-bloggin from the room as the vote was taken to start Impeachment. (this is probably why Cheney will resign and george will pick a new boze [horrors don't let it be alberto eichie gonzalez] and then we'll be stuck with him because we are impeaching george and dick and dick will no longer be with us. oooooh this is a slippery cabal, ain't it??

Thom???? For God's sake man, it's upsetting that you don't know that a Governor was not needed to sign this ... even I was thrown and I have read Jefferson's Rules on this til my green eyes are red.

But, maybe I needed a good scare not to take this for granted...

THE LIVE BLOGGER SAYS THAT THIS PETITION FOR IMPEACHMENT WILL BE TAKEN UP WITHIN 48 HOURS last she heard. This means Impeachment could begin WITHIN DAYS --- MOMENTS ---- HOURS ---- !!!!!!

Today is THE EIGHTH --- I received the email about 'action' on the SEVENTH !!! (at 6pm) and the link it kaput ....

I am searching all over for news of this ... but I believe that Impeachment has just become a reality .......

Thank GOD before someone had to give him a blowjob.... (sorry for the mental pic)

And, I'll close with gratitude for Thomas Jefferson. It really matters NOT what revisionist historians try to do to this man and his reputation --- his words and works outlived him and his wisdom provided us a way to save our country no matter what. He and my Grandpa are my only true heroes ! (there are a few others but they are all related to me, including some younger ones)

I wish he had been President of Tampa.
