What I did Tonight

So --- this is what I had planned for this evening: See a movie, get some coffee, spend time with friends --- not necessarily in that order. Yeah, you're right, it's nothing exciting but it's still what I planned on doing.

Instead I ended up conducting three interviews concerning an incident of clear abuse of power, waste of taxpayer dollars (what, AGAIN??) blatant lies and base accusations and assault and defamation of a good man's character .... and the worst type of accusations whatsoever leveled against a family by a dishonest Tampa Police officer operating under the guise that a call had been received and 'he was there to help.'

Here's the story as I got it and as videotape and digital photos and cell-phone records tell it. This story involves Police Officer Bercaw Tag # 200132 car# 272.

This officer, in a plain, white, unmarked car was observed to enter a venue at 7:23 pm on 4-20-07, and this is verifiable both by public and private records and by cell-phone records. It is notable that five different, independent people were in the vicinity to verify when this officer appeared on the scene. This information is also verifiable from computer records and other sources.

The person 'in question' whom the officer purportedly had received a call about was in the vicinity for EXACTLY EIGHT MINUTES --- in the company of alternately THREE and then ONE other individuals for the entire time except for at the most 45 seconds. During EVERY moment he was observable by one of the three persons he arrived on the scene with.

Two persons left the vehicle immediately to proceed into said venue. After approximately six minutes (7:20) calls were exchanged between occupants of car and persons inside venue. Again, two minutes later (7:22), calls were exchanged between persons inside venue and occupants of car. At this point, one person exited vehicle and proceeded up a short sidewalk toward venue. One person inside venue walked out of venue and towards vehicle at this same time. Again a cellular call was made (7:23) and at this EXACT moment these persons espied each other crossed paths, observed unmarked officer enter parking lot and proceed towards their vehicle although they did not know this was to occur at that time. One person headed towards vehicle and one person proceeded inside. BOTH persons observed the unmarked car and also a well-known friend who had just exited same venue. As well, as three other friends who were in the vicinity .... (all this said to point out the UTTER IMPOSSIBILITY OF THIS "COP" doing an honest job or public service of any kind).....
Okay, so if you're with me so far (and it took me about two hours to get the whole story exactly right but because there were very few words exchanged but repeated among three victims of this officer) that's eight minutes for a call to be received ... but you have to figure for someone to evoke suspicion wouldn't that take AT LEAST one minute? >>> give me one minute.

This is the cop's story quickly: He received a call that the person in question was acting suspiciously, NO LESS observing children on the playground ... WITH BINOCULARS and acting VERY STRANGELY. This is a man who entered a parking lot at 7:14 with four people in his car. Two exited the car and entered the venue, one remained in the car with the man. So far we have no suspicion in a parking lot of a venue holding an event which had many people entering and exiting and dropping off people and picking up others. As well, there were many many many others in the parking lot. SO --- since the call was about this man acting suspiciously with binoculars observing children ... wouldn't he have to be ALONE for this to occur? Also, just for shits and giggles are any of these things really illegal OR suspicious?? Especially since they weren't occurring??
So, if you've given me the minute that the man had while the two entered the venue, that makes it 7:15 ... then a call to 911 supposedly rang out. That would HAVE TO BE at 7:16 or this guy doesn't even have a chance to get the binoculars (which do NOT exist) in hand and start acting weird. (oh, it's questionable that there were even children there at the time ... it's possible there were not) SO by 7:17 the call was made to 911 figuring it took at least a minute or so that brings us to 7:18. Then the dispatch. FUCKING LOL !! To ME, considering the dispatch stories of the last several days THIS is where it just gets HYSTERICAL. Approximately four to five minutes later the 'officer' enters the parking lot moving very slowly. Two of the people he later questions observe him to do so and think nothing of it. One enters venue, one proceeds to a point directly across but NOT IN the vehicle where the man sits and waits. FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE VENUE. Because they are headed to other activities while one person remains at the venue for some time.

After some minutes the ............................
Here is where I take a long breath because as I am trying to blog this extremely objectively I observe the picture that was taken of this 'officer' who DID NOT RECEIVE ANY GODDAMN CALL about anything and HIS HAND IS ON HIS WEAPON AS HE IS TALKING TO A CHILD WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING> ON HIS WEAPON. ONE HAND IS ON A COP FUCKING GUN AND THE OTHER IS ON HIS TASER. According to witnesses he repeatedly attempted to separate this CHILD from the adults present and then proceeded to offer this child 'help' with EACH OF HIS HANDS ON A DEADLY WEAPON. THIS MOTHERFUCKER.



Okay ... I'm going to try again. The person who is inside the venue leaves one person in the venue and exits to return towards the man who was waiting in the vehicle. Approximately 15 minutes have passed. At 7:38 a cell phone call went unanswered (recorded as missed calls on BOTH cell phones) as these two people again met up on the sidewalk also accompanied by others independent of this story. The one says to the one from the venue: Some cop is talking to "-------" but I do not think he is in any trouble. Both proceed towards car where they see the man gesture that everything is okay but strange. He stands off to one side and the 'cop' asks one person to stand aside while he discusses 'something' with the other. The one asked to stand aside is a child. The other is asked the following questions and received the following information. "Is this your car" NO. "Who does this car belong to?" HIM (pointing) "What relationship is this person to you?" FRIEND.

Cop volunteers: I received a call that he was acting very strangely, observing children on the playground with binoculars. INCREDULOUS NO WAY and laughs. COP volunteers: Do you think I AM lying? Person being questioned ... looks at cell phone and says WAIT I saw you pulling in here at ... gives info. Are you telling me that in the approximately FOUR TO SEVEN minutes that he was in this parking lot a 911 call was made, a dispatch was made and you arrived driving slowly and all this observation happened in four to seven minutes? THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE. Cop (again): "Are you calling me a liar?" Person: NO, But it IS IMPOSSIBLE.
Cop (changing subject) "Is that your camera?" Person being questioned, "I don't know, let me look." (they move towards car)
Person being questioned verifies it is their camera. Cop:"May I look at it?" Person:Sure. Cop takes camera, monkeys about a bit and asks meantime, "Is that your video camera?" Person: "No, but I do use it sometimes, it belongs to (family member) ... Cop asks for help viewing photos on camera ... person assists him and goes back approximately six photos to some earlier photos taken of buildings and such. Cop asks if he can see video camera. Person: sure. Cop does some observing .. not sure at this point, person is starting to lose patience. Cop says (while taking out cop notebook) "will you give your information?" Person: NO, I will not; I believe that we are done talking now. Cop turns to person who is still off to side and says "Can we go somewhere to talk?" This younger person says yes and adult vociferously disagrees. Adult repeatedly, adamantly insists that child does not accompany officer anywhere alone. Child agrees to speak with officer, anyway. They go off some distance. Adult follows closely and advises child to give NO NAME, NO INFO no INFO NO INFO. This is not a friendly visit and enough cooperation has gone on. Meantime adult commences taping and photographing the surroundings. Fourth person is inside the venue and remains inside until some hours later.
As related to me on videotape and recorder, this is the interview by the cop towards this child. Meantime, please remember this 'officer of the law' has his hand BOTH HANDS EACH ON A DEADLY WEAPON.
First officer looks him up and down in a very judgmental fashion and says 'is everything okay at home?' Child: Yes. Cop:"Are you sure? you seem nervous.'

(geez, MAYBE this is BECAUSE some big, aggressive person has a hand on a gun and a taser standing a few inches from me)



Child: The ONLY reason I would be nervous is because you have our friend over there and he hasn't done anything wrong and I don't know what is going on. Cop:"We received a call that your friend was acting suspiciously and observing children." Child: "You are WRONG"
Adult calls out again that interview is over and videotapes from there on out.

Cop lets child go and proceeds into venue where child enters to observe cop behind desk of venue and speaking with employees of venue. It is believed that this is part of a pattern of ongoing intimidation and harassment. However, this stooped lower than ever by accusing a good and decent man of doing something thoroughly INDECENT and indefensible. Also, it is believed that this 'cop' spread rumor and innuendo throughout the venue and that this will be visited upon this family.
How could he be behind the desk checking records without naming names and embarrassing people?
There was NO call. At least NOT ONE that was made BEFORE he arrived on the scene.
And he knows it. More importantly, whoever he REALLY SERVES KNOWS IT.

He arrived on the scene at 7:23 ==== at approximately 7:29 he spoke into his on-the-shoulder microphone. (something like activate area or arial) Also, at 7:29 there is a call for a 'suspicious vehicle' which matches this incident.

This is the same thing that was done to Terry Neal. Defamation of character and blatant lies. It's a clear violation of civil rights of several flavors.

I'm pissed off and I'm tired. There is more to this but I have done all I can in the telling, having to stop and make phone calls and review photos and video and just realizing that some nervous-acting sob is standing that close to a child offering his version of help. In all, this involved five hours of my valuable time tonight. That will be costly all around.

I want you to carefully OBSERVE where his two fucking hands are at and where the child THE CHILD is standing. How about that is your child or anyone else you love? This is a child who rode with a friend who did NOTHING but sit in his vehicle who was questioned by a possibly steroid'ed up cop (who MADE UP THE REASON TO HARASS THIS MAN) ... WITH BOTH FUCKING HANDS ON WEAPONS. Then THIS CHILD was pulled aside and asked if everything was okay at home... and he also said to the child if something is wrong NOW is the time to tell me. The child said he was offended by the way the cop looked him up and down. He said the cop looked him up and down very long and very hard in a very offensive way not once but twice.

And, he'll collect his full retirement when they fire his fucking ass just like the scummy bastards that are killing people in the other areas of dispatch. Ain't it miraculous how they get to the activists so fast?

PROFILING, VIOLATION OF CIVIL RIGHTS, BULLSHIT, LIES, CHICANERY, DEFAMATION .. and these folks are white.

Good fucking thing they weren't handing out fliers.

This won't be the last you hear of this.

Oh, it is also believed that this act is part of an ongoing effort to 'investigate' this family as threatened by another Tampa Police Officer after one of his family members made an unsuccessful and threatening effort to purchase this family's property.

And, they say Tampa has poor home sales.

Nope, just thieving bastards with bought cops.
