New Frame for "the Door"

I know what you're thinking ! But THAT is NOT true. Whenever bloggers say they will be changing their format you get NO BLOGGING. I swear on blogger that is not going to happen here. After giving it a lot of thought and also more time than we usually spend thinking about things the contributors to Tampas Back Door have 'up and decided' to invest MORE and to open up the reach of Tampas Back Door by covering locally, connecting nationally, continuing to jettison the riff-raff and promoting available talent which we've been wasting. So, while the posting initially may not be as frequent when you see something at Tampas Back Door it's going to be the result of a great deal more effort.

We've armed ourselves with three more laptops, a number of cameras, one more video camera and the services of fifteen bloggers in every state of evolution.

Taking advantage of what's available is part of what Tampas Back Door will be about. Given national exposure and more people on the street we're going to ramp up our activism, make our presence felt and participate in live -blogging from various venues.

For instance, are you aware that a citizen may tape ANY public meeting anywhere?? Yes, you can.

Public servants are NOT ALLOWED to meet and discuss rules and changes that effect citizens without the citizens being part of the discussion.

IF they do -- public SERVANTS are then liable to be sued in Federal or State Court, subject to recall or firing, held up for public contempt and ridicule. (because we can't get the Tampa Trib to ridicule the in-crowd, now can we??)

AND, now that we have help the three or four regular "voices of the people" will be WILDLY ENHANCED !! We'll have at least ten people blogging live truly representing "VOICESSSS of the PEOPLE" We're also going to be doing some different stuff with multi-media and have formed a multi-media communications venue to 'light it up'.

Less ranting --- more IN YOUR FACE. Okay, maybe NOT less ranting.

I've talked some noteworthy folks, you(ng) and old alike, into taking back Tampa. Please help out anyway you can. At some point we'll ask for contributions but only when we think it's worth it. And, we think you'll agree.

Now --- expect anything. Henry Rollins got nothing on some of these boys. Just kidding Henry. You put the fire under the pot.
