Joe Stines HATES the Homeless

Well, it's always easy to spot in ass ol Tampa when someone is about to do something shitty. First the Tampa Tribune does their schpiel and then the others follow along behind.

Well, I'm mighty glad I spilled my thoughts when I did on not-so-joltin-spineless-joe-stine over to the Hillsborough County Public Library system because he pulled a card from his Nazi-pack to use against the homeless and other patrons of the library.

It's not enought that he ordered blogs 'web-sensed' and then out and out came to look me over to see who was talking about him --which is what led to me calling him a shit-head but now he's come up with something MORE heinous.
As one of his not-so-loyal minions reported "joe and krewe" "have their ways" of dealing with people. And they have a plan for the homelless and other people who spend time in the library.

Joe must enjoy a great deal of behind-the-scenes support because of COURSE we the people OWN the library, the computers, the books and, in fact, without our MONEY, Joe does not exist in my world.

I have a plan for Joe. Watch and learn. You can use it on the County Commissioners if you like.

I hope everyone intends to be at the final budge hearing in September.

Imagine eliminating 6.00 per hour library pages and cutting out a courtesy phone that children and others use to line up rides home --- but Brian Blair gets his (SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR) car allowance and Joe Stines is still employed BUT NOT protecting or even pretending to protect the right of every citizen to access equipment OWNED by said citizen during every available hour the library is open.

More on this. I have some excellent inside information. The same insider was careful to tell me that Joe has LONG trained library personnel to SHUT UP.

But --- obviously, they don't.
It's no secret who I am to these folks and they came directly to me.

So, Joe. Batten the hatches baby. You and the rest of the Masons get ganged up because Tampas Back Door is going to do YOUR job and stand up for the folks in Hillsborough County's right to free speech and access to publicly HELD property. (including you)

Maybe Tampas Back Door are going to become 'the most-feared bloggers' in the Bay Area..

The guy in DC who keeps people straight.... why not just do your job; stop being a Nazi-ish leader who instills fear in your employees and stop trying to shut me up and//or scare me.

Cause, yknow what?

Every time you've done something stupid we've just become more outspoken.

New Frame for "the Door"

I know what you're thinking ! But THAT is NOT true. Whenever bloggers say they will be changing their format you get NO BLOGGING. I swear on blogger that is not going to happen here. After giving it a lot of thought and also more time than we usually spend thinking about things the contributors to Tampas Back Door have 'up and decided' to invest MORE and to open up the reach of Tampas Back Door by covering locally, connecting nationally, continuing to jettison the riff-raff and promoting available talent which we've been wasting. So, while the posting initially may not be as frequent when you see something at Tampas Back Door it's going to be the result of a great deal more effort.

We've armed ourselves with three more laptops, a number of cameras, one more video camera and the services of fifteen bloggers in every state of evolution.

Taking advantage of what's available is part of what Tampas Back Door will be about. Given national exposure and more people on the street we're going to ramp up our activism, make our presence felt and participate in live -blogging from various venues.

For instance, are you aware that a citizen may tape ANY public meeting anywhere?? Yes, you can.

Public servants are NOT ALLOWED to meet and discuss rules and changes that effect citizens without the citizens being part of the discussion.

IF they do -- public SERVANTS are then liable to be sued in Federal or State Court, subject to recall or firing, held up for public contempt and ridicule. (because we can't get the Tampa Trib to ridicule the in-crowd, now can we??)

AND, now that we have help the three or four regular "voices of the people" will be WILDLY ENHANCED !! We'll have at least ten people blogging live truly representing "VOICESSSS of the PEOPLE" We're also going to be doing some different stuff with multi-media and have formed a multi-media communications venue to 'light it up'.

Less ranting --- more IN YOUR FACE. Okay, maybe NOT less ranting.

I've talked some noteworthy folks, you(ng) and old alike, into taking back Tampa. Please help out anyway you can. At some point we'll ask for contributions but only when we think it's worth it. And, we think you'll agree.

Now --- expect anything. Henry Rollins got nothing on some of these boys. Just kidding Henry. You put the fire under the pot.

Thank you again for e-mailing my colleagues in support of my bipartisan OPEN Government Act. Your efforts made all the difference last Friday, when the Senate unanimously approved this legislation to update the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and make government more transparent.

By sending over 7,000 e-mails to 86 Senators in support of the OPEN Government Act to update FOIA, you and thousands of other Leahy for Vermont online community sent Washington a clear message that open government and the public's right to know are American values that transcend party lines.

This pressure ensured the passage of a strong bill that will improve the FOIA process by:

Imposing meaningful deadlines on agencies handling information requests;
Establishing a FOIA hotline;
Bringing government records held by private contractors into full public view;
Creating a FOIA Ombudsman to provide an alternative to costly litigation between FOIA requestors and federal agencies; and
Allowing federal agencies to waive FOIA fees for freelance journalists and bloggers.

The House of Representatives passed a similar bill earlier this year, so I hope it will promptly approve the Senate bill and send it to the President to sign into law.

Tampas Back Door has published continuously since inception -- without interruption.

Currently -- Tampas Back Door is plotting how to take over the world. Or something like it.

At any rate, now that you have this extra time take some action below OR read the old and awesome posts that already exist here.

Oh and since the fire freaks continue to surround me ---- (gad, how MUST it feel to do what you are told all day???? AND drag your innocent children into it??) --- maybe you can all help me figure out what took four trucks and a death box app. 7 -- 12 minutes to determine what was obviously a SHAM on philmore road on Sunday about 12 pm? Magically just as I was passing by.

Here's something more magical: Philmore Rd. just happens to be the last address of my family member who was murdered by law enforcement !!

So -- even though there was a CLOSER fire station ---- these guys came from BEHIND me to pour down bearss avenue to do NOTHING -- no one on the street had any IDEA why they were there. The 'resident' of the houses they were running back and forth between was obviously a meth head. The other innocent residents filled my video and ears with info. How much longer will THEY last and how's their health ??didn't look so good. Reminded me of someone I love.

I dunno -- you do the math.

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee.
