A new country with different people

Sometimes ... it's the understanding of JUST ONE PERSON or another that makes all the difference.
I've been lucky enough to make a very few, very treasured friends in my life. Tons of acquaintances; few friends. It's a good life. Like you don't pick up every seashell on the shore. Just the beautiful ones. Sometimes you can't bear to move them for they belong there for others to see....

Anyway ... when I first realized certain facets of my existence: the changes that occurred after 2000 and the awakening realization that these crazy bastards are stalking us. Yep, it DOES sound crazy. LOL I AGREE. But documentation and film prove that it's NOT US who are crazy.
For the first year I had to go re-read it at times to convince my own self and then somewhere in there I just accepted it as part of life: my own kinda filthy, troubled, schizo network.... VERY SIMILAR to and at least partly comprised of Verizon employees. It's a right laugh.
I have an elegantly educated gentleman friend who listened to the story sum and verse: His reaction was as dignified as his persona and just as comforting. Especially when you tell others whom you once respected but they say outright that you are crazy (or like the tampa and other thugs just call you crazy as they have failed what r an ethic and can't AFFORD an ethictician like Mel Martinez got for himself. So they call names. lalalallalallala ) or just avoid you because they owe their livelihood to this nastiness or for some other equally idiotic reason.

You know .. it's where you LOSE respect for people.

My friend possesses both a PhD and an MD. He's an amazing and thoughtful human being who rocked slowly and listened calmly as what seemed to come across to everyone else as lunacy when told with such haste that it may have seemed a tirade initially, fell on his ears.
