Why Women REALLY remember their X's

Because they do their first 'growing up' with them. Be it good or bad. Mine had some real beauty inside of him but apparently I was not the one who would bring it out. Sometimes. There were some issues. Good and bad. (he was funny and that humor was hard to juxtapose with other things) BUT -- he had great taste in music --- turned me on to the Outlaws, Pete Townshend, Roger, Traveling willburs, roy orbison, the ORIGINAL Buckingham Nicks. Beach Boys ... yeah ...( standing on the fricking chairs, anyway .... YAY MIKE LOVE ...) and Quicksilver Messenger Service. (have another hit of FRESH AIR) what you gonna do about me?????????? I was always driving around Tampa and Indialant jamming to things no one ever heard of ...

Sometimes this song flows through my head at unexpected but intensely perfect moments. I'd never have EVER heard this or ANY of these other sounds without him. So -- no matter what else, we looked damn good together, made beautiful music together and today I walk around with the beauty inside of me that never made it to the outside of HIM. Not NEVER. Just not often enough ... for me.

Luckily, the results got the best of both worlds .... dazzling smiles, smartass carefree and strong, flippant minds brilliance under a bushel baske`t humility (hmmmmm) all the good stuff.

I give you a Buckingham Nicks song soooooo old I bet most of you never heard of it. After I left my ex, I miised his music and scoured around til I found this album ... you can see Stevie Nicks' nipple in silhouette.

BUT, the best part is that the world's or one of the world's hottest guitar men emerged from the sawdust of the love lifes of Fleetwood Mac. If you've never seen Lindsey Buckingham play ... DO IT.
He's SMOKING HOT.
You WILL SMOKE TOO. Even if you have to borrow a lighter and run to the store.

He's that hot.

Recently on some late-night tv (So RARE that I watch TV what LUCK) I saw an older, present-day Lindsey. I don't konw how but with gray hair and the obvious exit from "youth" that man SMOKES HOTTER THAN EVER. a. he's fine as hell b. he's fine as hell. Him and his ax --ONE. This whole age-ism thing ROTS. Some of the sexiest people around are over sixty ... and even over 80 ... and that one guy who wrote his first book when he was 96 --- I felt a little flutter. It's the mind that does it for me.
