Here's another VERY ILLUMINATING CRIMINAL FACT that got by most of the people, I bet. On the morning of his bond-hearing (where most people accused of first degree murder would be remanded with NO BOND) Mr. George Lewis, Fireman Murderer of the Secret Brotherhood of Stalkers ... went without a prosecutor and bonded out.

How did that happen, you might ask. Why would a prosecutor NOT show up for a SENSATIONAL first degree murder case of such a heinous nature.

Huh.

An 'electrical storm' had caused his alarm clock to not sound. Right. Because you thugs have SO NOT walked up to my house and shut my breaker off over and over again.

Isn't it nice and providential that this story came up just in time for me to honor Karen's memory by revealing what a duplicitous bunch of MOTHERFUCKERS you are?

It is uncommon to see an accused killer walking the street before his trial. That's because defendants charged with first-degree murder are usually held without bond. But in the Lewis case, a series of accidents, maneuvers and legal arguments had led to an exception. The police and prosecutors had assumed that Lewis would never be able to make a bond of $300,000. He was not a wealthy man. He was a firefighter with a wife and young daughter. His mother was a widow who had worked for years as a secretary. In June 1986, the defense had asked Circuit Judge Mark McGarry to approve a property bond. In a hearing before the judge, the defense had asked the court to allow the Lewis family to offer some property — the homes of several of George's friends and family members — to guarantee his bond. But McGarry had refused to do so. So the family looked for help outside the court system. In early November, one of George's sisters approached Al Estes, the owner of a local bonding company, and asked him what it would take for him to get George out of jail. Estes told her he would need the standard 10 percent fee bonding agents charge — in this case, $30,000 in cash, which would be nonrefundable — plus enough property to serve as collateral for the entire $300,000 while George was out and waiting for the trial.
Evelyn Lewis, George's mother, took out a second mortgage on her house and got Estes the $30,000. She also put up about $40,000 worth of rare coins and other valuables. At least a dozen other people — family, friends and several members of the St. Petersburg Fire Department — offered money, jewelry, a boat and other property, including several houses

The real mystery unveiled. WHY would anyone DISAVOW THE FACT that FLORIDA LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FLORIDA FIREFIGHTERS ARE COMPLICIT IN COVERING UP MURDERS AND OTHER CRIMES, and ARE IN FACT, actively INVOLVED in criminal activity enough to justify the name: MURDER INCORPORATED. They're all in it together. They're all afraid to talk, they all owe something.

I don't understand why this story didn't run in the whole paper -- you don't have to in St. Petersburg to remember this tragedy and the wonderful story Tom French wrote about it.

I have known larry for years (st pete pd) and he man worked this case to the fullest. there were no mistakes, lewis was and is guilty. AS ALWAYS LARRY WORKED THE CASE WITH PROFESIONALISM THAT HE WAS KNOWN FOR. GOOD WORK LARRY.HOPE YOUR HEA

DNA evidence is not always enough to solve a crime. Absence of DNA doesn't mean a person didn't do the crime, just as existance of DNA doesn't prove a person is guilty. Reasonable doubt, not absolute confidence is the standard.

He already said he was in the house, what are they testing his DNA for? His footprint? He said it was his. Did he rape her? That DNA could prove he was or was not the killer. He was a firefighter, why would he panic and run, he helps people. Guilty!!

I remember reading and following this story years ago when I lived in the area. It was chilling then and is now. I'm no cop, but the repeated lies and the print paint a pretty clear picture of guilt.

More than two years after they came onto the case, Ciarciaglino and Paver continue to represent Lewis. Though they have spent hundreds of hours on the case, they will not answer a question raised by Karen's friends. Namely: Who is paying for the defense? That the lawyers say, is nobody's business but theirs.

And, you wonder why they try to call ME, the nut?? Because, of course, I'm blowing their cover.

Didn't have to be this way.

But, now I know that they wouldn't stop short of actually lying in wait. This guy went RIGHT IN AND MURDERED a small girl.

When Firefighters M U R D E R .....

.... here's what happens: The detective .......


arrested one of his friends(much to his own surprise) who was a firefighter with DONTCHA KNOW?? A crime watch sign on his front lawn and an exwife he had choked.

..... falls into ill health. Has numerous firefighters call him to upbraid and threaten him after the arrest. The firefighter has ENDLESS, seemingly FREE (but likely paid for by some masonic or firefighter organization) legal representation and the legal representation won't GIVE UP on the character assassinations AND they won't disclose how they are being paid. Why isn't that a matter of public record?

When George Lewis, the murdering fireman is tried for first-degree murder he bounds into the courthouse cocky, glad-handing, wide smile .... and his defense attorneys (the mysteriously paid benefactors of slime) complain that the victim's family milled about in the hallway outside the courtroom. Never mind that they were REQUIRED

to be there and also required to be outside the courtroom.

I haven't read all of these articles but what I HAVE READ is making me sick to my stomach.

They ARE GETTING AWAY WITH MURDER AND STALKING. If they don't get away with it initially --- they'll keep trying.

This mirrors the same experience I have with Tampa Fire Dept. The attempts to make mine and my family's health deteriorate. Sometimes successful. The blatant cheer as they perform violent, ILLEGAL acts. Because stalking IS an act of violence and control.

"Violence" is
defined as "any assault, aggravated assault, battery, aggravated battery, sexual assault,
sexual battery, stalking, aggravated stalking, kidnapping, or false imprisonment, or any
criminal offense resulting in physical injury or death, by a person against any other
person." § 784.046(1)(a).

The unremitting 'brotherly love' that they share and the denial that they would do anything wrong.

The case dragged on. Finally, in March 1986, nearly two years after the murder, the FBI matched Lewis to a bare footprint left in Karen's blood in the bathroom of her house.
Confronted with the new evidence, Lewis changed his story again. This time he told Tosi he'd climbed through Karen's window to help her. Karen, he said, was dead when he found her. He sneaked back out of the house, he said, because he panicked.
When Lewis was done talking, Tosi placed him under arrest.
"This hurts me worse than it does you," the detective told his friend. "Believe me."

Outrage followed. Friends of Lewis, including many St. Petersburg firefighters, angrily insisted Tosi had made a mistake. They believed they knew George, and that was enough.
Not everyone saw it in such simple terms. An investigator asked a neighbor if she thought Lewis looked like a murderer.
"What does a murderer look like?" the neighbor replied.
Testifying at trial, Lewis offered yet another version of the night in question, adding that after finding Karen's body he had gone into the bathroom and thrown up — thus explaining the bloody footprint. His lawyers, meanwhile, suggested that the real murderer was Peter Kumble, the friend who left the note, and that the man under the tree was Kumble's roommate, stationed as a lookout. Both Kumble and the other man denied the accusations, and there was no physical evidence putting either man at the crime scene.
As deliberations began, Lewis sat on a bench outside the courtroom with Glenda and their 2-year-old, Tiffany. Glenda snuggled against her husband's shoulder; George wrapped his daughter in his arms. To some, it was a portrait of a family under siege. To others, it was clumsy manipulation. One of the jurors, seeing Lewis hug Tiffany, became convinced that he was putting on a display to win their sympathy.
The jury convicted Lewis, and he was sentenced to life in prison. ...................

Meantime, the threats continue. We'll kill you, we'll arrest you, we'll stalk you all your life,we'll mess with your phone service, we'll hurt your child, we'll burn your house down, we'll move UTTER PIGS into the house next door. What else is new?

Oh, and here's something cute. Last night I called my phone and the VMB was full. Wanted to leave a message for the nasty stalkers. Guess they wanted to hear it because TWO SECONDS LATER and this was AFTER ONE IN THE MORNING .... (round the clock stalking) when I called to delete a message or two so I could voice an opine all my messages had disappeared.
