Tom Cruise REDEEMS himself

If you're ready to forgive Tom Cruise, here's your opportunity. Must see flick .. his first United Artists release with Meryl Streep, Robert Redford and that hot Mexican guy from Crash.(Michael Pena) They made a point of him being Mexican in the film which is why it merits mention HERE. Helllloooo I was happy to see him again. HOT !!!
I don't know how Robert Redford does it. Like Lindsey Buckingham he's just HOTTER. Along with Meryl Streep. I'm not really a 'looks' person but these folks are SMOLDERING hot. It's always the MIND that does it for me. I can overlook EVERYTHING except for stupidity and meanness both of which are curable. Cure yourself -- read and love everyone.
This movie will ... redeem your suspicions about it all. I'd write more as I took NINE PAGES of notes (in the dark I have to write larger or it will be illegible more so than usual)but heck, I'm going to see it AGAIN. It's awesome. The last movie I paid to see twice was: Live Free or Die Hard ... (oh and I'm NOT an action-flick kinda chick, just sometimes) Live Free or Die Hard=stand-alone awesome. Value added the hot guy that has a Christmas album out believe it or not; can't recall the name sorry but the face ...oooooh yea.

"Lions for Lambs" is just about everything I hate in a movie: It's self-righteous, didactic, dramatically and visually static and, in places, extremely boring. But I found myself thinking about it for hours, even days, after I saw it .....

And YOU will, too.

Whatever the movie's flaws are, it has at least a modest grasp of the sprawling mess we call democracy, which Winston Churchill called the worst form of government, except for every other.

There ARE no flaws. Some folks need to learn that you have to give a movie premise.

I mean no one BELIEVES that there really IS a war on drugs but they sell themselves into it so that the govmint can spend BAZILLIONS of dollars (of their money) to fight this imaginary bullshit. LOL. The new word for transport. Just LEGALIZE THE SHIT.

I found one of the most interesting parts of the film was a class project asking students to make a presentation on how a foreign policy could be applied state side. And, THIS is what it's all about. You have to watch it to see the interplay.
It's so important to view a film YOURSELF, never taking a reviewer's word for it, any reviewer ... because each frame that makes it into the film survived the scrutiny of dozens of people and a man or woman determined to deliver their message.
Sometimes I am compelled to watch a film over and over and over and each time I see more of what the director was hoping to accomplish. It's also kinda important to watch them UN-embellished, if you get my drift.
Because, I can't tell you how many times I watched "airplane" and saw things I was laughing too hard to get the first eighty times or so .... LOL.
