I can remember being so angry when I found someone had murdered my beloved that I wanted to pull a total stranger through their car window and beat them into the pavement. Because they did something stupid at the wrong time. Which is probably why they have bailiffs in court rooms. To quell that second of blind FUCK YOU UP MOTHERFUCKER ANGER that if you're human, one day will sit on your chest.
You know the feeling only lasted for a second and since I've never put my hands on another person in anger I know it was a healthy reaction to ... you know the person being in North Carolina and a stupid stranger in front of me.

Which is all good.

And then that anger went to work. Which is the best thing for anger. Although I think that pounding someone into the pavement until you can't tell the difference between they and the concrete is probably what happens sometimes.

I don't have the first problem admitting that feeling. Lots of very dishonest people in this world. Not me. I felt it. Shocking. Shocking. I had to shake my head back and forth to clear it enough to understand what was happening. Never experienced anything like that.

I also don't believe folks who say they have never considered suicide. I know there MUST BE a few. Whose lives are lived so far from the core that they believe it's all charming. LMAO> But, I think people are lying when they say NEVER. Not for a second. BULLSHIT. Anyone who has stayed up for more than 24 hours running without sleep has crazy thoughts. It's that easy. AND NO I do not consider suicide a crazy thought. For the record.

It's an exercise in self-control and discipline what you do with these feelings. Act on them? You shouldn't. Not the immediacy of it, anyway. Sometimes you feel angry with your children and end up laughing five seconds later. Because you have something other than a lizard brain area to reach to. Lots of things and places to hit before you put your hands on another human being or take anger to or direct it towards another person or a helpless child or elderly person or animal.

This is called a BRAIN, folks. It's in charge .... When people say they can't 'quit smoking' it's all bullshit. You get your brain and put it back in charge, dumbass.

And, that's why I don't mind admitting blind rage unacted upon. Because I don't think with my dick but with my brain.

I've been lucky and Merry Christmas

I've been lucky enough to have loved some incredible people and even luckier to have BEEN LOVED by some even MORE incredible people. Sometimes probably better than I deserve.

I always had a soft heart. Someone's hurting .. I knew it.

Some days ...

Well, let's just say that if it weren't for all that good luck my life would be a LOT harder. I am a very lucky person.

I do miss my family a lot. I've had this 'parade' article folded up around here since OH 2003. I highlited what was (for me) one of the most important things I've ever read.

Loretta Lynn's husbend just was not good to her in many ways for many years. She used to be in my life more when my family was alive because a few were always watching tv. It's NOT that I'm lonely. That's not it AT ALL. I never talked to them much, either. It's that I'm lonely FOR THEM. Because they let me be. Let it be ............... let it be let it be let it be yeah let it be whisper words of wisdom let it be ..
So, I'm sure I've spent a spare moment here and there quietly rolling my eyes at this or that country while secretly developing a surprising fondness for some of the folks. George Jones, Johnny Cash (one of my heroes) ... silly old Elvis .... too many of them.

And they've had hard lives many of them. Like Ms. Lynn.

Her husband died and after all he did to her ... she said some of the most searingly beautiful things I've ever read. Maybe you have to lose enough people to GET THIS. And, my people were pretty damned cool. It's why when I look at the shattered mosaid of my family I treat those who perpetrated this sickness with a great deal of anger ... because to not be angry would be to try to understand what drives a person to be a hated, hateful motherfucker. They just are. Something happened, maybe nothing, they enjoy it, they're still little boys/girls inside pulling wings off butterflies and trying to make themselves feel bigger by hurting people who don't even realize they are the enemy half the time. Sickos. I go ahead and love them anyway and because of that I am angrier than ever.

I'm a god motherfucker and it's judgment day.
