Mark and I got on beautifully IMMEDIATELY from the very first start. He was one of the first people I commented on, linked to and who blog-rolled and linked me. Before I even knew what was happnin' LOL.

You'd never have guessed that we'd get on famously because we couldn't be on more polar extremes politically !

ME: Fred Thompson???

Mark (i feel sure): John Edwards?? (and maybe some more choice words as I am sure I have directed towards poor Fred (who, after all is just another twisted human being, like me) NO -- I AM NOT TWISTED !

BUT, when the Hillsborough County Public Library System censored my ass AND YOURS (but not a notable couple of you who are still like burrs under the saddle of democracy), Mark and some others out in blog-o-ville were RIGHT THERE. NO QUESTIONS. Mark was the first and confirmed what I said, which of course, was true. (friggin book nazis)

Oh and he LOATHES Verizon so we just danced and sang on that one. He held an extremely heartfelt and kind discussion with me pertaining to the Iraq war. He's cool.
He LOATHES oppression .... I would strangle oppression to DEATH if I could get my hands on him/her/it/them/they/usualsuspects .. SO, on the big things ... Mark and I need to form our own party of KICKING ASS AND TAKING NAMES (lol just kidding on my part, Mark would have to do all the heavy lifting LOL)

Anyway, and Mark has or had a very funny and cool co-author who I haven't read in awhile but I just have time for a few places these days and ..... Mark is prolific and hell's bells he works as hard as I do so I know he has a hard time keeping up, too.

Suffice to say, Mark and I don't agree on the details but on the bigger picture ... we're soul mates.

DON'T FUCK WITH OUR FREEDOM. DON'T FUCK WITH OUR CIVIL RIGHTS. DON'T TREAD ON US.

LIVE FREE OR DIE.

And, Mark can cmoe here and disagree with any of this and I'll edit it. I am starving to death you know because we ARE GOING TO FORCE JOHN CONYERS TO IMPEACH GEORGE BUSH AND CO. so I can't really be held responsible. Who knows how much longer I will be able to type??

So, although I can't advocate or advise every word he will say (and truthfully the thought is scary) I'm proud as hell of Mark for getting his voice out there, I love his anarchy symbol ... I wish him luck, hope he understands I haven't yet (IN A FREAKIN YEAR AND MORE< OKAY???) figured out how to link a photo to a blog in the sidebar and YEAH I'm a systems engineer by training (BIG F"ING LOL, but it is true, I AM Microsoft Certified and Cisco'd, too)
So, whatever.

I also hope he understands that I absolutely ADORE Sinfonian and Blast Off and I haven't been able EVA to listen to sinf's show live. Or dead. Well, a few of them.
And, it's totally on my list of reading/listening for the road trip (yes herr commandant klunk I am GOING)
Go give Mark a listen when you get time or at least a thumb's up for the effort and DON'T BLAME IT ON ME, MAN.
