Court of Impeachment and War Crimes

Well, heck when I first read this, I thought .... oh, COOL, someone has gathered up a bunch of A-ONE pictures about my fondest dreams and placed them here for me to enjoy and everyone should see this. So I was thinking of a post for it ...

(brief aside) I too am extremely let down by Nancy Pelosi. I made it a point to watch her on the Jay Leno show (never watch the tube) and I wanted to and want to go along with her but .... yknow, I'm .... quite torn, to say the least. It would make me no better than a party cheerleader to pretend I am dazzled. Ed. is a little more clear with his feelings.

... And, yknow, I read FAST. So I went back to go through the pics more slowly and realized I have been linked by the LEGENDARY Ed Dickau. (Precinct Master) Whatever. There'll be no living with me now. (j/k I ate the humble pie by birth, we're a legendary family of behind-the-scenes-folks here at vox) Anyone who knows me knows me. LOL.

I think this might also be an appropriate time to thank Lindsay Beyerstein, freelance journalist, for adding me to her blogroll over at MajikThise (like THE BEST blog out there for the few uninformed living under a rock) In fact, I'm kinda thinking Ed. found me through MajikThise. Or possibly Michael Hussey over at Pushing Rope. All good things happen around these folks and those who hold them in esteem. Ya can't hope to outsmart them ... but it sure is cool to hang around in the light with them.

I have ruminated for a week or so trying to figure out how to say thank-you without sounding like I was bragging.
I don't always have the ego for the blogging business but I bet Lindsay HAS to know that being put on the blogroll of someone I deeply admire ... well, that meant EVERYTHING to me. Truly it did. I called people. I did. I bragged to anyone who knows I never brag. I sure did. I was high.

It's not like Lindsay NEEDS any recognition, I mean from the likes of a lowly Tampa blogger .... so this is not enough. But, it's a start. She's not just a good writer, she's had an interesting life which is kinda unexpected for one so young, and she's very kind; all qualities that deserve attention and respect.

I lived the same way and knew most of what I needed to know quite young. I'm enjoying getting to know her and an extremely diverse (could we get a new word for diverse, already??) group of highly intellectual and thoughtful folks over at her fine blog.

Oh, she's NOT solely a blogger: Radio-talk-show, independent journalist, she seems like an artist to me or has an artist's eye ...., orator, mover and shaker, etc... etc...., ...... go see for yourself.

And support her cause(s) and her drive to keep the light on what needs to be well-lit. Buy some ads, make a donation, add some intellectual-ism, enjoy and support her awesome work.
