Firemen ARREST PEOPLE??? So it begins

Well anyone who is not listening to my conversations about how the firemen are neo-nazis better wake up NOW.

Apparently through some GROTESQUE AND GAPING oversight these absolute lunatics have arrest powers in some jurisdictions. I don't really see why that matters because anyone they come across is one phone call away from arrest by their cop/sheriff buddies and one text message away from harassment by bikers/neighbors/code enforcement/local drug dealers .. you know.

I'm going to sue EVERY FUCKING BODY until this grave error in judgement is NEGATED.

These guys and gals are FUCKING CRIMINALS. Just like the cops they have abused their authority in every way possible.

It was odd because I had kinda read something about their errrrr law enforcement responsibilities (HOW ELSE WOULD THEY SELECTIVELY BURN AND DISCLOSE GROW HOUSES>??)
And I had read that they were to inform 'the other idiot authorit-eyes when people had improper reading material.

AND I use common sense to figure a 'fancy ol fire marshal' should be able to arrest some moron with matches and a can of lighter fluid. Tampa 18-year-old charged with arson
TAMPA -- An 18-year-old Tampa man was arrested and forcibly hospitalized after, police said, he started a fire in his kitchen and refused to leave as it burned Thursday night.
According to arrest records, Maurice Dwayne Joseph of 406 E Gladys St. told firefighters he sprayed lighter fluid on his kitchen counter and oven before the blaze.
When Joseph refused to leave the burning kitchen, even as he was showing signs of smoke inhalation, firefighters took him into custody and transported him to St. Joseph's Hospital, according to records.
He was charged with arson, a felony, and is being held without bail.

A Fucktastic Arrest
Tropical storm Edouard threatened to flatten parts of Texas and Louisiana the other week:
Gov. Rick Perry issued a disaster declaration for 17 Texas counties that could be in Edouard's path. The state activated a number of emergency teams, including calling up 1,200 Texas military forces and six UH-60 helicopters, the State Operations Center said. In Louisiana, Gov. Bobby Jindal declared a statewide emergency.
Now, what were the local authorities doing in preparation? At least one of them decided it was smart use of resources to go out and arrest a woman who said fuck. That's right: A WalMart shopper in Texas, Kristi Fridge, looking to stock up on emergency supplies, found the batteries shelf bare, and cursed. That bought her a ticket to the courthouse.
"I looked at my mom and said, 'They're all ----ing gone," Fridge recalled.
Suddenly, Capt. Alfred Decker, the La Marque assistant fire marshal, appeared from around the corner, dressed in a fire department uniform. "He said, 'You need to watch your mouth,' " Fridge said. Perplexed by who the man was — his badge said "fire department" — Fridge offered a scant apology. "I was like, 'Oh, OK. Sorry?' " she said.
Fridge walked away, but said the man ordered her to come back. She then protested, telling him she was having a private conversation with her mother that was none of his business. When the man ordered her to come to him and she refused, she said he pulled out his handcuffs.
Which is pretty much how you'd like your local law enforcement and fire-fighting personnel to deal with the upcoming disaster, right? Handcuff people for using the F-word in a private conversation, like they do in England?
Decker's boss, Todd Zacherl, sees nothing wrong with the actions of his assistant — in fact, he said, a dutiful public servant has "no choice" in such matters:
"When you're in uniform, you have to uphold the laws," the fire chief said. "It's like if he was on the way home and saw a drunk driver — he had to act."
Quite. A drunk driver about to cause a bloodbath is really no different from a lady woman uttering an intemperate word. Makes perfect sense.
Thanks heavens that the word fuck is never used by a firefighter or a police officer — and if it were, I'm sure they'd be arrested by their colleagues with the same public display of muscular authoritarianism accorded Ms. Fridge. Don't you think?

Since when do firefighters have the power to arrest anybody? They can do what's necessary in an emergency, or arson investigation I'll grant you, but enforcing blue laws?( And did anybody even ask whether swearing was a statutory offense in this case?)
Our founding fathers knew what they were doing when they insisted on checks and balances. The temptations of office are too much for many of us.
Meantime what the woman should have done is brain him with a can of beans and scream "rape"- that he was making a move on her daughter. Of course the mere accusation would ruin his career, but so what? Plenty more where he came from.
And it would be a useful lesson to all these little commissars springing up in the new security state: THIS is what it feels like to be in the grip of arbitrary power.

unfortunately, physically fighting this kind of thing only makes it worse. They'll just charge you with resisting arrest and assaulting an officer, and then there's no chance in hell a judge will throw the case out. Which pains me because my first instinct would be to fight like hell.

I think that some argument could be made whether he has arrest powers or not. Sounds like a freak.I think you could do what you wanted and a judge would toss it right out.In tampa they are in collusion with each other in the hugest racketeering scheme since .... They stalk our family because they want our property and they have bought so much property that now the state of florida redacts their names from property listing.
