Meghan O'Quinn Rachel Futterman

If there's one person I wish I could hug today it has to be Meghan O Quinn: USF student, person of heart and conscience in this world.

I didn't even KNOW Rachel Futterman and find it stunning that such an engagingly beautiful young person is gone. So, it certainly is an unforgiving place where Rachel's family and friends and Meghan are these days.

But, I've been here before. I'm trying not to be suspicious about the death. Meningitis and most lung diseases and especially Legionnaire's disease sudden deaths just raise my hackles ...

Then everyone runs for the vaccine or the pill. Yeah. Maybe in another city. In Tampa, I take the medication from the pharmacy and have my trusted, wonderful friend SMELL it. I don't trust these MD's OR these pharmacies. And, you shouldn't either.

I'm sorry that Tampa has trained me to be highly suspicious of these emotionally charged and reactive deaths. BUT, the news articles were soooooo obvious... they didn't want anyone where rachel worked OR the restaurant patrons to become alarmed BUT wanted all USF students in for vaccines or meds.

NOW, get this: They were going to adjust a STATE LAW around this sad death BUT no problem for those she served food to and may have shared 'contagion' with. I don't believe in most diseases anymore. I DO believe that her employer wanted to maintain their reputation ..

I believe that Rachel should still be RIGHT HERE with Meghan ... and all her other friends and loved ones ....

Meghan, thanks for sharing these. That took a LOT of heart. I get your shock and sorrow. Please know I'll think about you. And tell Rachel's other loved ones how sad this makes us for them.

Keep her alive forever .... NEVER EVER stop talking of her ... no matter what folks say or think.
