This takes B A L L S

It's one thing to drone on and on and on about the HIGHLY questionable innocence of
sami Al Arian who (BY THE WAY) PLEADED GUILTY and admitted to knowledge of the PLJ and also the violence and ALSO supporting them and talking in code with them AND sending them money after the fact. He lied twice in federal documents about same. To a reporter. On record. TWICE.
Like his local counterpart over at CAIR, he's AT LEAST a major fucking liar who admitted to knowledge of violence of an organization that he sent money to AND received money from. Make no bones. This is NOT fucking a shove over. This is BOMBINGS, MURDERS, HIJACKINGS.

But what really set me off other than the lies was that some asshole had the NUTS to title his movie claiming frame-up in a similar fashion to the movie US vs John Lennon who as you may know is the globally beloved icon of peace, love and humanity, John Lennon. And, also dead. So fuck you to you. Asshole.

Never in the farthest reach of any dark imagination was sami al arian an icon of peace and justice, brother. He was a frigging engineering professor with an islamic think tank on the side. Members of which were also deported.

No insult to my many islamic and muslim friends. And, I know none is taken. And no offense to his family who has surely suffered through his incarceration. But, baby he is NO john lennon. A different title would have been much more appropriate.

This would be about akin to making a movie about my dog and titling it lassie. Give me a fucking break.

That's my review. You go watch that shit if you want to. LOL ! And, it might be a good movie. Maybe we can take Gone with the Wind and rename it Hurricane Katrina. You get where I'm at with this?I t took balls to do this. Even if you believe he was framed or is innocent, it took balls. No comparison to these two men. Obvious ripoff of the fame.




Now this, on the other hand, is THE movie of an original, beloved, murdered peace icon of (almost) our time.



The US went after John Lennon for directly the opposite reasons. He represented peace, unity, brotherhood. The damn near direct opposite of the divisiveness embraced by the supporters of the other. I'm all for fairness and all for 'innocent until proven guilty' ... hell, I even am KNOWING that most of law enforcement are lying pricks who stalk innocent people. BUT, the guy pleaded guilty to some heinous stuff and you can bet if you got arrested tomorrow your family would go through the same shit as this family only with a lot less fanfare. Get it????

Oh, one final thought: I am a firm advocate for free speech, so of course< I advocate for the viewing and creation of this 'film'. But, I think it might be interesting to determine the funding base.
When I saw the John Lennon film I was also skeptical because I felt it was Yoko's side of things. I had never seen so many loving scenes between he and Yoko. So --- the importance of media ingestion is to maintain your equilibrium, check the backing and judge with your own level head.

I might even like the movie. But, I'll never see it. I completely disapprove the obvious ripoff of an icon.
