While most of the 20 some Veterans were conciliatory and pleased to hand our 23,000
pro-IMPEACH petition signatures to Chairman Conyers, both Iraq Veterans Against the War Board of Directors Co-Chair, Adam Kokesh, and Delaware Valley Veterans Executive Director, Bill Perry, made it clear to Judiciary Chair Conyers that we felt betrayed by Conyers failure to advocate for Impeachment, as he had done earlier, ever since the Downing Street Memos, in April, 2005.
In this photo, Impeachment Champion Mike Ferner, another of us Vets who have been working on Impeachment ever since Spring, 2005, presents Conyers with even more of our 23,000 petitions demanding that Congress respect our Oath to Protect & Defend our Constitution v. Domestic Enemy, George Bush.
This photo, with Representative Kucinich, immediately AFTER The House sent articles of impeachment against President Bush to the Judiciary Committee Wednesday on a mostly party-line vote: 251-166. Speaking to us Veteran Activists, after today's historic vote, Kucinich said that if the Judiciary Committee does not act within 30 days, he intends to introduce another, longer version of the articles of impeachment, with 60 counts instead of 35.

“I am not going to let this go. I am not going to let it go. I’ll just keep coming back and they can pile these things up in committee but I’ll keep coming back,” Kucinich said. “I’ll bring it up again, and there will be more. There will be more.”

We request our fellow Veterans, and all our associates to please call, fax, write, and e-mail YOUR Rep, to support ( H Res 1258 ) because of the Administrations' “abuses of power” during the run-up to the Iraq War, and ever since, as our illegal invasion & occupation continues.

Immigrants STEALING Impeachment

First of all, I'm all for the huddled masses. NOT the gangsters who are arriving huddled but then drop the sheepskin blankety and their glow in the dark tattoos and shit show up and they start terrorizing peaceful people and performing all kinds of murderous hobbies.

This shit ain't DRUG DEALING. This is a massacre.

AND, these are NOT immigrants protesting; it appears that they are Republicans or hired by the Republicans in order to subvert the hard work of groups who support impeachment and create MASSIVE demonstrations against the illegal wars and FOR the IMPEACHMENT OF GEORGE BUSH AND DICK CHENEY and the rest of them.

So, while I have helped out the Imokalee workers by supporting them and by a small donation to their cause, my larger belief upon close observation of them are that they are VERY VERY well organized. Right down to matching backpacks, professionally produced filmology and other things that struck me as less than genuine.

We're not talking union organizing we're talking something bigger and DIRTIER.

As in --- whenever the Impeachment and Anti-war groups get together yall do the same. THEN we can call it a big immigrant rights rally and be done with it.

A big example of this is in the May 1st Longshoreman's strike, shutting down the shipping lanes.

Uh huh. Out come the" immigrants" again. This is at least the sixth time I've noticed this.

Initially they claimed that their 'massive' organizational technique was made possible via Myspace, churches and spanish radio stations.

This was all a lie .... there was NO myspace group and none of the other shit, either. They got outed by other Latinos.

This is like when Charlie Crist sent his cronies up to Tallahassee to support the trashing of the real estate property tax. MY ASS. Did you see those signs? I know I blogged that. Don't have time for all the delicious links today because I am seriously behind reading and I'm getting ready to be SERIOUSLY BUSY later in the month..... then a road trip. Fun FUN FUN.

So, now we got rid of half the real estate taxes although a simple look around provides the knowledge that all these rich bastards TAKING OVER FLORIDA can afford benzes AND taxes. Now Rubio is pushing his one cent sales tax again and it will pass by just a 61 percent margin don't ya know???

THEN, gambling will come and save us all.

YES, the Hillsborough County Sheriff and the Tampa Police Dept, Mayor, Code Enforcers, Tampa and Hillsborough County firemen and city and county employees (NOT ALL) but for the most part ARE corrupt. Yes they are. Drop the pretense. It's just stupid. It's STUPIDER that any of these folks suppose that because they tarried off to UF or Stetson and garnered a law degree (pay your fees get your bees in many cases as is obvious) that they are of moral fiber to prosecute ANYONE ELSE. Cause a look through their JUNK ain't pretty, now is it?

For the past seven years, we have watched as America has moved steadily backwards. We have become a nation that is less free and less fair. We have become a nation that no longer values the right to privacy and has tragically retreated from our cherished foundations.

Nothing George W. Bush says tonight will change the sad reality of the America he has given us:
- Our economy teeters on the edge of recession while property taxes spike and homeowners are losing their homes at record levels;
- Our educational system is broken and our teachers are abandoned;
- Our roads and bridges languish in disrepair, while our borders and ports remain under-inspected and insecure;

It is time that we reclaim this country and undue the damage wrought by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.
Democrats in Congress must stand up and lead – no matter the cost.

We need to finally act on the promises of the 2006 election and stop at nothing to bring our troops home from the Iraq. As we prepare to celebrate the New Year, my resolution is to hold George Bush and Dick Cheney accountable for their abuses of power.
In the last days, we have made real progress:
The mainstream media has awakened to this movement and to the extraordinary support you have given it. Your calls, letters, and emails have clearly made a difference. This week, the Miami Herald printed an article on our efforts that was syndicated in papers across the country, including the Detroit Free Press, Philadelphia Inquirer, Fort Worth Telegram, Contra Costa Times, Sacramento Bee, Houston Chronicle, Chicago Tribune, NC News & Observer, and others. We have come so far in just a few weeks. No longer can the mainstream media ignore our efforts and dismiss this cause as only part of the fringe left.
Already we are seeing tangible results from our combined effort. As you already know, Congress is well behind the American people on this issue. This is an uphill battle, but it's one that has to be fought. It should not be the whole agenda, but it needs be *on* the agenda.
When Congress reconvenes in January, I plan to present a list to my Judiciary Committee colleagues of every single person that signed up at WexlerWantsHearings.com.
