Presiding over his child-support hearing in Tampa on Wednesday, the magistrate quizzed Marshall on his assets, rolled her eyes about the Range Rover he drove to court, and ordered him to hand his ex-wife the cash he was carrying.
Marshall pulled a wad of $100 bills from his pocket and counted out $1,080.
"You clearly paid for everything under the sun before you paid your child support," Cuellar-Stilo said.
"You said you made decisions, right or wrong, on how to spend your money. I'm here to tell you, it was wrong."
The scolding was delivered as Marshall's high-flying lifestyle comes crashing to the ground. It's a long fall for the entrepreneur and founder of Tampa-based Fireline Restoration Inc., a property restoration firm he reportedly sold in 2006 for $60 million.
