I'm not sure why the best candidate (John Edwards) isn't pulling ahead yet but there's still plenty of time.

Truman's Conscience nicely covers John Edwards' spot-on take on health care as opposed to the disappointing ideas of clinton and obama. This is from the New York Times interview.

TJ ME my mama and THE CUTTING EDGE

I'm old-fashioned in most ways that matter but even I did not realize this until the epic battle over a piece of the gambling rock in Florida began.

Well, sometimes I noticed it. Other people being all up in different types of pasttimes than me ... I was always an interested onlooker and sometimes participant but ... nah, leave that nasty stuff to the other guy. I'm peaceful. I love people. I really can't feed in to the drama. Suffice to say .. extremes were dealt out before the voxers took note.

There you have it.

When you look at pictures of Elvis Presley AT HIS MOST BEAUTIFUL and yeah I missed it but big sis DID NOT so ... I still have some of those albums stashed deep away. That her hands touched. What a treasure.

AND, someone I love VERY MUCH bears more than a passing resemblance to the WHITE KING. (as opposed to perhaps my BLACK KING, the beloved Martin Luther) They worked for the same things .. don't miss that.

At any rate ... it's astonishing. We passed a poster of 'the king' the other day and were stopped in our tracks. That's YOU. That's ME. WOW. Yup.

I've made passing references to the great beauty of my mother (i do not resemble her in any way so no I"m not using it for a brag LOL but my brother does) Well, maybe I do just a little. But I'm my daddy's girl. Legs, mouth, eyes, cheekbones .... hair. Parts of her and him but mostly his face and golfer legs .... but my Mama very strongly favored Jackie O at the pinnacle of her great beauty.

We have a picture of Jackie O next to Mama and other than the hat ... it could be the same person.
As my mother aged she resembled the Bea Arthur character, Maude, as well. A certain high style and pride .... she was a very pretty woman.

THEN, I often pass this picture of Thomas Jefferson, one of my heroes .... I like it so much I want to take a picture of it. Each time I pass this I pause to recommit to BEING ME. BEING OUT THERE AND OUTSPOKEN AND FUCK YOU STALKERS AND FUCK YOU NAZIS and .... you know ... alla that. I don't MUCH LIKE IT but ... I get this feeling that ... when I asked jesus to guide me ... well, this is where I was led. That kinda deal. Like it or lump it. You should TRY IT. It's very very powerful stuff.

Okay, that was a cute video ... BUT, I LOVE this one. When John Edwards came to Tampa I taped him EVERY second. I never got it to youtube but all you hear is .. OH MY GOD, he's SO HOT. He's SO HOT. It's NOT his looks, really ... I was SHOCKED at my reaction ... Tampa was (yeah believe it or not) a bit more lowkey than this one but you can SEE in these folks the excitement that comes along with John Edwards. This is the effect he has on people. We NEED this.
