Once Upon a Time

I drove a fairly nice Dodge Caravan. It was nothing special --- it was just the vehicle that transported me and mine from point a to point b.

Well, once upon a time this biker boy came along on I 275 and smashed me in the rear-end. Right out there in front of god and everyone. Me? I'm all innocent. I'm thinking ... is this guy DRUNK??? Because a three year old driving could have made the stop ... it was easy not sharp.

Anyhoooooooo, I didn't even really plan to do anything about it so I continued on my merry way ... it was raining. Well, this sneaky asshole (what a MAN!!) gets to the next exit --- there by 21st st ybor city and sneaks off the interstate. I kinda laught to myself. There was SO MUCH traffic.

It was almost but not quite 10 days later when someone walked up to me and pressed his name and license plate number in to my hand. Said, "here's the hit and run" from the other day on the interstate.

My intel is a whole lot better than yours, eh?

Now, how long have I known this and seemingly done nothing about it??

Wow. A long time. I rarely take that particular route so I remember it very distinctly ...

You could not really tell the car had been hit, yknow?? BUT, ever after that it leaked there and, of course, had to go ... mildew and such.

IF memory serves that was also the car they knocked the airconditioning hose loose from during all their tampering .... and the brakes.

Well ... anyway .... I think everyone out there should think REAL REAL REAL hard who their friends are and when you think you're ready ... make it a good one. Try to make it LAST.

In the end, things will still come out the same way.

Only, you worked very very hard to create an enemy. You haven't managed to accomplish that or your various and sundry other goals.

I see you and ... I KNOW how hard you worked to get my attention. I'm so easy going and good natured and kind I completely overlooked all of that. i even overlooked your bro rear-ending my car. And, I had no idea who he was at the time, thought he was a total stranger.

But, there's folks out there won't have them ignored.

And, they talk to me.

How's that working out for you?

What I'm saying is -- make it count. Because when you open that door --- YOU WILL DEAL with what comes through it.

And, you won't like it.

But, that's your problem.

Next time maybe you'll see a decent person who understand communication and participate. (and herein may lie the problem, I guess)

Sending thugs to my door was really stupid.

From there and from the day on I275 it's been a virtual downhill cascade of same ...

This won't end well but I won't be the one paying.

I want you to be aware of that ..... and this is the last time I'm saying so.
