I had the best of all worlds. A beloved Grandfather who strove to make up for my Daddy being murdered (uh, no I don't wish the death penalty for his murderers we're ALL DYING ANYWAY) and uncles and other men who taught me things that most women will never know.
Sometimes I wonder if they meant to. I was such a QUIET child, very shy but firm ... in what I would not do. Of course you never knew what I MIGHT DO. Me neither. Sometimes I STILL surprise myself what I'm capable of. Not really. I'm a very firm believe in the skills we are given. Every tool you will ever need on this stage - you enter with. If you ever don't believe me -- just ask for it. Quietly affirm what you need and where you expect to find it in yourself. Surprise yourself.

Anyway -- I was so quiet and everyone had a soft spot for me (lil girl whose daddy was gone before she knew it) never got in the way, always reading. ALWAYS. Sometimes I just learned things by being the audience that everyone had forgotten about. Sometimes I had to BEG. PLEASE TEACH ME HOW TO PUMP GAS. Had to ask strangers. LOL !!!
But I learned how to communicate and love everyone. I didn't have to sign up for hand signals and meth labs to find friends. I didn't sell my own children's SOULS down the river for a false god.

Yes, you did. Stop using people. It has NO effect on me and it's just sad and pathetic.

So, in the spirit of communication (I mean ONE of us has to) YOU can kiss my fine ASS.
