Tom Vilsak signed an Executive Order to restore civil rights. That's all Charlie had to do. That's it.
When the Democrats tried to stop the war BUSH vetoed the bill; let's try to keep that in mind, folks.
Another example: Whole books are written (read Vincent Bugliosi) but the one sentence on the cover of this particular 5thouuusand page tome reveals that it's an affirmation of the Warren Commission on the Kennedy murder(s). We're sposed to be stupid enough to believe that because this book is thicker than most peoples' heads that it MUST be true yet most people will only read that back cover. If it's worth ALL THAT MONEY to get that idea out ..... I hope you're following along.
The article states that people are disgusted with the partisan bickering which I also attribute firmly to most Republicans. Democrats are united in ending the war (despite the fact that they are forced to fund it this quarter)
He's also not fooling me by his threats to veto the stem cell research which frankly, I'm not that stoked with. Too easy for a maniac to do the wrong thing. He threatens to veto something that he was celebrating in 2001. Right??
The point is: The Democrats only have so many votes. Republicans (who claim to dislike filibustering and blocking, or is that just DEMOCRATIC filibustering??) have fought change every step of the way.
In essence, the article reveals the duplicity of Republicans and of this regime but the headline reads of 'disappointment with the democratic congress'.
Which is not the case.
Don't just read the headlines. And, do me a favor. Watch the Tampa Trib. When they do the misleading headline thing, let them know you are awake. !!! Please.
