A word for Daniel Brock

I don't have a word of support for ANYONE "Daniel Don't Worry he can be a Fireman Now Brock" who says, (and I quote

(BROCK) He told investigators that given the chance, he would conduct his DUI stops the same way.

Said Brock: "I mean, perfect world, we need more deputies and fewer people."

(HUH????????. who would they steal from then???)

BUT, I AM supportive of this matter.:

Personal Grudge

On Thursday, Brock said that in the weeks before the internal affairs investigation was launched, he criticized internal affairs investigator Deputy Bruce Crumpler for actions in his personal life. Brock said he leveled that criticism in a conversation he had with another investigator in that same unit.

Crumpler learned of the remarks and called Brock's supervisor, Brock said.

'And so, I called him up,' Brock said. 'We talked about it, and I thought we had smoothed it over. I apologized if he felt I was out of line in saying what I did.'

Two weeks later, Brock found out he was being investigated by the same detective.

'That's a conflict of interest to me,' he said.

AND: this seems like some smooth bullshit, too:

After-hours efforts to reach Crumpler, via a phone call to his office and a visit to his home, for comment were unsuccessful.

Sheriff David Gee said he was not aware of Brock's complaints about Crumpler and that he doesn't see a conflict with Crumpler conducting the investigation.

'It seems immaterial who investigated it - the facts are the facts,' Gee said. 'Internal affairs cases, in the end, are a lot of transcripts and statements. … It's hard to manipulate a case because it is what it is.'

Right. LOL LOL LOL. AND it took SO LONG to come up with these facts.

Had a run-in with an IAD myself. He coaxed me into coming to his office. Coaxed and coaxed and coaxed. He needed help with a case. Finally I went. His SOLE purpose was to intimidate me. A LOT happened after that, too. Then he stalked me at least once. (not to mention all his buddies who he likely let off the hook in all their reported illegal activities) As well, he REFUSED to give me ANY proof that I was in his office. What's that say??? Huh. I got some. LOL !!

When I mention being stalked it is NOT my imagination. I have pictures and video. So, imaginate yourself out of that one.

Oh, and according to the City of Tampa's FINE ASS ATTORNEYS: (I read this in the Federal courthouse which is an EXTREMELY INTERESTING place to read, folks)

The Internal Affairs Department of the Tampa Police Dept. is NOT there for the citizens of Tampa.

DUH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, don't wonder any longer when I trash the City of Tampa attorneys. One I have found no reason to disrespect (though he admits knowing the city council members for a long time) is David Smith.
It could be my vivid imagination but I get this sense that he still has a grip on an ethic or two.

When the Tampa Tribune is trying to tell you that bikers are organized crime think of it like this:

Bikers/TampaPoliceDept/HillsboroughCountySheriffsOffice/prominentTampafamilies/etc....

I think it's mighty nice of them to air their dirty stinkin' laundry like so.

I have often said that if MY family had anything to do with it we'd have been a running part of the Underground Railroad. Now some more Americans need an Underground Railroad.

I've read a LOT about the underground railroad since I was a young child. Inspiring to know that back in that time with all the same fuckup people around there were still and ALWAYS WILL BE those brave enough to stand up and say NO. NO NO. You MAY NOT enslave us. We're all better for people such as this.

Blacks and Whites and all people of all colors have always banded together against 'the man'.

In a time when people are running around in 'don't snitch' tshirts and branding the faces of those who serve as witnesses to domestic violence we're seeing a different kind of slavery.

I absolutely REFUSE to give over even one tiny breath to participate in some division.

People have DIED for promoting unity. No one has ever been killed for promoting division. Those are the ones who are richly rewarded.

Promote unity.

Dennis Kucinich: White man speaking up for those who saved the black man and other slaves. People should STRUGGLE to remember that no matter most of the slaves were black there were also Dutch slaves, Irish slaves and other slaves of all hues. Poor.

Today there is human trafficking.

Folks. Please. WE DO NOT HAVE TIME TO LOOK BACK. Get the back. Grasp it. Keep it. But MOVE MOVE MOVE forward and deal with today, tomorrow and the forever-ness of what we're creating.

And, you know: LOVE each other.

And paint your picture with every hue. Work towards justice, equality, honesty, integrity and unity.

If someone tries to remind you how much you should hate your neighbor or how you should rat your neighbor out, put the shoe on the other foot, first.
How would that feel directed against you?

My Grandpa came over on a ship that had it been the Titanic he'd not have ever become an American. My Grandma came over in a state-room. He wasn't black but for christ's sake he made his way. Through the depression with cardboard in his shoes.

Detroit's 'beautiful miracle'

Thousands party at festival; Boblo boat back home at last

There sure was something special in the water all day Friday -- and on top of it and beside it and all around it.

That something was people, thousands of people, rediscovering a river some of them had not seen in years.

Hardly anyone who ventured to the RiverWalk for the first day of Detroit International River Days, a celebration of the new promenade that runs until Wednesday, could remember seeing so many people fill the area.

"I've never seen Detroit so lively," said Kiran Gowda, 37, of Novi, who walked to the waterfront with a coworker to down his "chicken in the sack" at lunchtime. "Hopefully, this will bring people back from the suburbs."

By Friday's indication, it is.

With a forecast from the National Weather Service of mostly sunny and temperatures in the high 70s, the thousands of curious fun-seekers should continue filling the riverfront today.

It should be rain-free for tonight's DTE Energy Parade of Lights, and fairly clear for breathtaking views of the riverfront from 700 feet in the air inside the helicopter flown by Lynn Walton.

"Whoo! I love it!" Anthony Puente, 31, of Plymouth shouted as the helicopter took off.

That seemed to be the sentiment for everything on the RiverWalk. The festival and the East Riverfront, which consists of 2.7 miles of pedestrian walkway that officially opened Friday morning with a snip of a bright blue ribbon.

"Together, we created this beautiful miracle," said Gov. Jennifer Granholm, looking out at a new River Carousel on a new Rivard Plaza & Pavilion. "This is all about the next Detroit and the next Michigan."

Granholm felt so good about what she was seeing that she even started getting feisty with another Midwest city.

"This, to me, is the example of why we're going to push Chicago out of the way," she said to loud cheers.

One of the highlights for many was the return of the Boblo boat Ste. Claire, the first time it had been in Detroit since 1991.

It moved like the 97-year-old vessel it is, arriving to the party a few hours late. More than 50 people, who had waited hours for its arrival, still cheered and clapped when it approached the dock at Tri-Centennial State Park at 7:25 p.m. Friday -- nearly eight hours after departing from Toledo.

As if it were issuing a message of faithfulness to the city, Ben E. King's "Stand By Me" played on the boat's sound system as Karen Winkler, 39, of Clarkston snapped away with a digital camera. Her daughter held a sign reading, "Welcome Home, S.S. Ste. Claire."

"It's just like she's coming home," said Winkler, who worked undercover security on the boat in the late 1980s. "She was just sitting there rotting, and now, there's hope."

Owner Ron Kattoo said the boat won't be available for tours, as had previously been scheduled, until the U.S. Coast Guard performs an inspection.

Walking around the festival grounds, Donald Kirkwood, 57, of Rockwood and Patricia Lyons, 46, of Oak Park watched Jet Skiers do jumps in the river.

Kirkwood, a former Detroit police officer, said he has not come down to the riverfront since he retired from the force seven years ago.

"It is absolutely amazing," Kirkwood said. "I remember when there were those cement things, and I would sit and look at the Canadian side and think, 'Why can't we look like them?' "

"Now we got the same thing," Lyons chimed in.

Said Kirkwood: "No, ours is even better."

Mohamed and Amal Berro of Canton, who spent a large chunk of the day on rides with their four kids, had not been to downtown with their entire family for five or six years.

"Normally we didn't come downtown because of what you hear," said Mohamed, 39. "But now there's so much to do. Detroit has really advanced itself for the families."

Detroit resident Mwangi Mumpfield, 31, who came with his fiancé and her two kids, also was astounded.

"This looks, wow," he said. "I mean, I'm totally blown away."

See now, if someone like ME was there, they did NOT get interviewed, AT ALL or their interview got left out.

I'd feel so much better about Tampa if our homeless population was not soaring and if we did other things correctly. You know the little things: ethics, acknowledged (and erased) corruption, etc.)
I can get to the river all by myself. I like my river banks NATURAL not covered in pavers.
