How does the St Pete Times JUSTIFY publishing this bullshit which isn't even based on teh HINT of a fact???



In one way I'm glad because they are revealing another problem with this 'vaccine' that they refer to as a 'prevention' for cancer.





This isn't the first time I've blogged about this dangerous 'preventive vaccine' and it's not the first time that the St Pete Times has been misleading on behalf of this vaccine. (or merck) Here's a link to my previous blog post which also highlights what St Pete times had to say to help this drug manufacturer make MORE MONEY. At the time I was blogging the initial post Texas was already passing legislation to keep gardasil OUT OF SCHOOLS AND FEMALES while Florida's REPUBLICANS(Jim King) (yeah I said it cause I read it) were working their asses off to make the vaccine mandatory for school children. (females) I really can't believe that so many folks would just nod their heads and go .. 'geez, great idea ... let's get shots for our daughters (or someone else's daughters) which cause them to faint and also stings days later (god knows what they're REALLY getting) and which costs close to four hundred dollars for the series. Yeah great idea.
Here is a petition directed towards Tex Gov Rick Perry. Didn't get many signatures but a good effort and obviously something worked.




As well, in more detail than I could have come up with quickly is Jay Parkinson, M.D., M.P.H to tell us exactly how and why this vaccine became mandatory when it's not even been proven safe OR effective. I am using his graphic in this article.

Now there are reports of fainting after being injected with the vaccine. That's pretty unusual from a shot, don't you think?? I read numerous 'fainting' reports before I linked that one up but THIS ONE disappointed me the most. The PM and other authorities are telling parents not to worry and that this vaccine has passed RIGOROUS TESTING both there and in the United States which is simply BULLSHIT. Either they are in on it and making tons of jack OR they are the king of NON-thinkers.


Why are Americans and others allowing their children to be used as lab rats?? Or is it just other peoples' children?? How would we know if all children get this shot or just those who go to public school?? Because private schools are banning it. If you have enough money apparently you don't need this shot.

ATLANTA - The groundbreaking vaccine that prevents cervical cancer in girls is gaining a reputation as the most painful of childhood shots, health experts say.
Health officials have touted the Gardasil vaccine as an important new protection against a cancer-causing sexually transmitted virus. In recent months, they've also noted reports of pain and fainting from the shot.
During its first year of use, reports of girls fainting from vaccinations climbed, but it's not clear whether the pain of the cervical cancer vaccine was the reason for the reaction.
"This vaccine stings a lot," said Patsy Stinchfield, an infectious disease expert at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, speaking at a recent meeting of vaccination experts in Atlanta.
It sure does, said 18-year-old Lauren Fant. She said other shots tend to hurt only at the moment of the needle stick, and not after the vaccine plunges in.
"It burns," said the college freshman from Marietta, Ga.
The pain is short-lived, girls say; many react with little more than a grimace. But some teens say it's uncomfortable driving with or sleeping on the injected arm for up to a day after getting the shot.
Officials at Merck & Co., which makes the vaccine, acknowledge the sting. They attribute it partly to the virus-like particles in the shot. Premarketing studies showed more reports of pain from Gardasil than from dummy shots, and patients reported more pain when given shots with more of the particles.
Meanwhile, U.S. health officials have noticed a rise in reports of vaccine-associated fainting in girls. From 2002 to 2004 there were about 50 reports of fainting; from 2005 until last July, there were about 230. About 180 of those cases followed a shot of Gardasil, which came on the market in 2006.
But it's not clear that Gardasil's sting is related to the fainting increase, said Dr. Barbara Slade, an immunization safety specialist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Teens tend to faint from needles, so a three-dose vaccine for adolescents would be expected to prompt some added fainting, she said. Researchers aren't sure why teens faint more than other age groups, but nervousness may be a factor.
Gardasil is the first vaccine approved specifically to target the human papilloma virus, or HPV, which causes cervical and vaginal cancer. The Food and Drug Administration approved it for girls ages 9 to 26.
Preliminary studies indicate only 10 to 20 percent of them have gotten at least one dose.
But researchers said those rates are due to reasons other than worries about pain, including Gardasil's $120-a-shot price, limited supplies initially and mixed feelings by some parents and doctors about a vaccination that assumes girls have sex.
A second HPV vaccine, GlaxoSmithKline's Cervarix, is under FDA review and could become available in 2008. Complaints of injection pain have not surfaced in clinical trials, said Liad Diamond, a company spokeswoman.

People Protesting PAM

This is some awesome stuff. Pam's laying off long-term city employees but keeping HER raise and HER bloated staff and the City of Tampa employees and others are RIGHTLY and ROUGHLY taking her to task for it.

Nice when I don't have to do it by myself for a change.

It's VERY COOL because this stemmed directly from my Zimbio page on Mayor Pam Iorio. Of Pampa (formerly Tampa) Florida. I did not create the page but someone put a very attractive (NOT PAM) photo of someone there and the original person has to change it. So, have no idea why they think THAT person is Pam.

Pam is involved in the City of Tampa Water Wars as I will article-ize next week. NO doubt some of these long-term city employees have some useful information for me and I am disappointed that I was unaware of this protest. Please keep me posted.

Of course, NOW she says that any layoffs are MONTHS away. Why layoffs AT ALL ?? There hasn't even been a fricking tax cut YET.

This was all created so that the new york gangs and the chicago masons and the pennsylvania ... whatevers could tighten their grip on the Tampa City Government.

Is Oprah Choosing the Next President???

i REALLY have to wonder. I have long noted that Oprah doesn't appear to be much more progressive than most of the ladies over to 'the view'.

I used to watch Oprah. Long about the time she started that stuff with weight she disappeared from my horizon. That's exactly what ANYONE does not need. Another celebrity focused on the appearance of their body and detailing the struggles to lose weight. Like to make it normal and acceptable. I think it would be WONDERFUL if JUST ONE OF THEM would display that it's okay for people to ACCEPT THEMSELVES. Eat properly, enjoy life, exercise .... there is NO perfect body shape.

Folks are born as ectomorphs and endomorphs. Small or large. Some people who are overweight are really not gluttons or 'unable to diet', oprah. They just ARE. It's their body type. Healthy folks come in all sizes. That was my first issue with Oprah.

THEN, she did a segment (this was right in the tail end of when I stopped watching and listening to Oprah) on keeping children safe ... Oprah used to come on at four, I think. So, I was there early from work with the young people in the family and others of extended family with their young because we thought ... 'keep them safe'. I barely made it through the program.

Oprah was busy instilling fear in the hearts of parents. The whole 'get them finger-printed' dealie. I'm very VERY against this. YOu need fingerprints for a dead body. NOT for preventing or ... well, anyway -- oprah started to remind me of the govmint. (stand back, we're here to help) as they proceed to fuck up everything they touch.

Then there were the car giveaways, the refusal to even QUESTION the govmint version of Sept.11, 2001 and other things. The quickly hushed 'bad items' that would pop up concerning same.

The biggest one that stands out in my mind was the book club and all the fucking drama over it. I don't WANT Oprah telling the rest of America what's good to read. That's way too much fucking power for ONE person. It smells like 'education ala bush' to me. Not saying that's what it was but it made me very uncomfortable. About as much as Morey doing 'who's your baby's daddy.'. SICK.

Then she came out for Obama and I said 'uh oh' .... all the folks who are reading what Oprah say and doing what oprah do and going on and off fad diets with oprah and stedman are going to get behind a guy who, as far as I can tell, is not progressive. I get the feeling Oprah would have supported him no matter WHAT party he was running for.

He DOES talk a good game. But, I'm just not buying it. I saw him. I liked him some prior to seeing him in person. I kept waiting for him to say something that I could HOLD ON TO. Nothing. Iconic phrases with pauses for applause.

I read John Edwards' speeches and I like what I read....

Sunny has a very good post on this over at Smashed Frog. She and I disagree on what the numbers tell us BUT she does a very good breakdown of what happened number wise.

I'm thinking the number of the new caucus goers supporting obama are indicative of the influence that oprah is having on this election.

I'm fully supportive of Sunny and hopeful that if Obama DOES get elected he will prove me wrong. I feel very strongly that he won't. It's not a color thing. I loved Jesse Jackson TOO until he disappointed us all. I love Martin Luther King with a passion that causes me to memorize entire speeches the man gave and to silence the entire room if I get a chance to hear his voice. I loathe Condosleeza in a healthy fashion on level with her disregard for our constitution ... I didn't HAVE to see Hillary Clinton in person to loathe her. I LOVE Chris Dodd despite the fact that he's merely handsome not HOT. I like Bill Clinton but still believe he and wifey are complicit criminals. I don't judge on color and other criteria, I barely notice it. I look for how it makes me FEEL when the person speaks, emotes or acts. Actions speak louder than words ... he leaves me cold. I won't go into detail about local pols and their husbands/wives who ... leave me cold. I either feel it or I don't. I feel it for John Edwards which shocked me. And, not for Barack Obama which also surprised me. I do LOATHE Harriet Myers. It's not a color/gender/persuasion thing with me. It's just .... HE's NOT THE ONE.

John Edwards isn't just HOT he's THE ONE.

Obama .... did you make a backdoor deal with Kucinich???

I'm just stunned at the revelation that kucinich would back obama over edwards. He might as well have thrown his support behind hillary to get in good with me. Surprising and pretty much disappointed in kucinich now.

I think Obama must really have been good at playing 'survivor'.

That's what I think. Lots of survivor winners are not the nicest people you could hope to know. Just wily and good at playing folks off each other.

Not to be a sore loser but I'm extremely disappointed.

I'll close by saying that I probably WOULD support him .... but .... I don't think he's the change that everyone is hoping for.

I'm actually more supportive of John Edwards for a reason I didn't really realize until Sinfonian said so.

I really like Elizabeth. She turns me on. Obama's wife?? Same feeling. Leaves me cold.

I begin to toy with the idea that oprah found obama and set him on this path. Just like an unknown author and now the MSM can't mention the democrats but his name goes FIRST. No reason for that ... it's not even alphabetical. Just the illusion planted that he's first. IF it were alphabetical it would be clinton edwards obama. They generally phrase it obama clinton edwards.

Oprah???

Didja have anything to do with that??
