It's not really important whether you like Dennis Kucinich or not. It's whether you like your vote to or BE COUNTED and whether or not you like ABC and NBC choosing WHO you listen to similar to ATT jamming Pearl Jam.

Cause some outcry, friends. PLEASE.

In the 2004 debates there were seven Democrats on stage. Kucinich and Graham were making the most sense. John Kerry was a disappointment but he had Edwards later on which helped some. Now Edwards has gotten out from under Kerry but I still want a FULL DEBATE of the Presidential candidates. And, you should TOO.

ABC shut out Kucinich and now NBC is doing so, as well. How much has changed in the media since 2004?? WELL a HELLUVA lot not to mention the many 'deaths' otherwise known as the takedown of our press and our freedom of speech and our very ideal of democracy.
Help Dennis out here and HELP YOURSELF. This is not just Dennis's battle but YOURS.

URGENT: Help defend the rights of American voters

Once again, America is faced with questions about the integrity of machine-counted ballots and about the rights of Americans to decide for themselves who they should be allowed to vote for in this crucial Presidential election.
In New Hampshire, it's a question of whether votes were counted or manipulated. In Nevada, it's a question of whether the GE-owned NBC television network should have the power to decide who your choices should be for President.
The vote counts in New Hampshire are suspicious. And, today's decision by NBC to exclude Dennis from next week's Presidential debate - even though he met the criteria - is outrageous. And, we need your help to deal with both of these matters.
Because of the unexplained disparities between hand-counted and machine-counted ballots in New Hampshire, Dennis has asked for a recount. "I am not making this request in the expectation that a recount will significantly affect the number of votes that were cast on my behalf," Dennis said in his letter to the Secretary of State of New Hampshire. But, he cited “serious and credible reports, allegations and rumors" that question the integrity of the machine-controlled process. (AND, Dennis is the most responsive candidate that exists)

If New Hampshire agrees to a recount, this campaign will have to pay for it. And we can't investigate what happened in New Hampshire - or protect every other state in the Union - without your help.
(PERSONALLY, I feel it's outrageous that his campaign should have to pay for that recount. This is a rule set by cheaters !!!! FOR cheaters)

About the whole "CHANGE" thing

This guy who is kinda an asshole (but for some reason I still let him talk to me I'm softheared, yknow and he's kinda easy on the eye. LOL) ... and most ASSUREDLY a NEOCON walked up to me the other day and asked about why I didn't have an Obama sticker. LOL.

So, he was trying to start a dialogue likely to drop some more fear but I find this amusing so I just listen and smile and try to inject some goodness into him.

He started talking about how he likes change. We need change. He's all for change.

Sorry, I just don't get this. How can you count the NUMBERS of something and then conclude that means something?

Maybe black women just don't run for office. I don't see too many green-eyed red-haired politicians, either. Seriously. But, I never thought that was any kind of invisibility. IF ANYTHING, red-haired, green-eyed women are WAY too visible for my taste. Try blending in if you're me. Doesn't happen as easily which leads to: leave me ALONE, please, sometimes.

WASHINGTON, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Ask corporate lobbyists which presidential contender is most feared by their clients and the answer is almost always the same -- Democrat John Edwards. (or huckabee because he's an unknown and weird see end of article)
The former North Carolina senator's chosen profession alone raises the hackles of business people. Before entering politics, he made a fortune as a trial lawyer. AGAINST CORPORATIONS

In litigious America, trial lawyers bring lawsuits against companies on behalf of aggrieved individuals and sometimes win multimillion-dollar settlements. Edwards won several.
But beyond his profession, Edwards' tone and language on the campaign trail have increased business antipathy toward him. His stump speeches are peppered with attacks on "corporate greed" and warnings of "the destruction of the middle class."
He accuses
lobbyists of "corrupting the government" and says Americans lack universal health care because of "drug companies, insurance companies and their lobbyists."

Despite not winning the two state nominating contests completed so far, with 48 to go, Edwards insists he is in the race to stay. An Edwards campaign spokesman said on Thursday that inside-the-Beltway operatives who fight to defend the powerful and the privileged should be afraid.
"The lobbyists and special interests who abuse the system in Washington have good reason to fear John Edwards.

"Once he is president, the interests of middle class families will never again take a back seat to corporate greed in Washington," said campaign spokesman Eric Schultz.

Open attacks on the business elite are seldom (read NEVER)heard from mainstream White House candidates in America, despite skyrocketing CEO pay, rising income inequality, and a torrent of scandals in corporate boardrooms and on Wall Street.

But this year Edwards is not alone. Republican candidate Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, sometimes also rails against corporate power and influence, tapping a populist current that lies just below the surface of U.S. politics.

One business lobbyist, who asked not to be named, said Edwards "has gone to this angry populist, anti-business rhetoric that borders on class warfare ... He focuses dislike of special interests, which is out there, on business."
Another lobbyist said an Edwards presidency would be "a disaster" for his well-heeled industrialist clients.
After this week's New Hampshire primaries, where he placed a distant third behind New York Sen. Hillary Clinton and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, Edwards might not seem so scary. He ran second in the Iowa Democratic caucuses last week, trailing Obama and just ahead of Clinton.
Edwards suffered a blow on Thursday when Massachusetts Democratic Sen. John Kerry snubbed him and endorsed Obama. Edwards was Kerry's vice-presidential running mate in Kerry's failed Democratic bid for the White House in 2004.
BUSINESS'S FAVORITE UNCLEAR
Asked which candidate their clients most support, corporate lobbyists were unsure. Clinton has cautious backing within the corporate jet set, as do Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain and former Republican Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, they said.
These candidates represent stability to executives who have much to lose if November's election brings about the sweeping change some candidates are promising.(read john edwards)
Obama and Huckabee register largely as unknown quantities among business owners, both large and small, say lobbyists.
"My sense is that Obama would govern as a reasonably pragmatic Democrat ... I think Hillary is approachable. She knows where a lot of her funding has come from, to be blunt," said Greg Valliere, chief political strategist at Stanford Group Co., a market and policy analysis group.
But Edwards, Valliere said, is seen as "an anti-business populist" and "a trade protectionist who is quite unabashed about raising taxes." (blatant lie)

(they HAD to throw in the bullshit) Because John Edwards is President of the Center for Poverty and advocates a tax OVERHAUL to make taxes reflect the actual ability to pay same.
(unlike Bush) I've found when these guys like Valliere w/stanford talk about raising taxes he is referring to the TAX BREAKS THAT BUSH GAVE TO CORPORATIONS.

#1 - Wealthy Should Never Be Taxed Less than Others: "First, we must write a firm principle into the tax code: the wealth of the wealthiest can never be taxed less than the work of the rest of America. Today, wealthy Americans can shelter unlimited amounts of unearned (investment) income from being taxed at the rate working Americans pay...That's wrong."

#2 - Take Away the Biggest Tax Shelter: "We must take away the biggest shelter in the current tax code: the very wealthiest are able to shelter capital gains and dividends from the Alternative Minimum Tax.
The very purpose of the AMT is to make sure the very wealthy pay their fair share...But the AMT is (now) doing exactly the opposite. It is increasingly hitting middle class families. At the same time, the AMT is not taxing many of the multi-millionaires it was meant to tax."

#3 - Eliminate Sweetheart Tax Deals for Lobbyists: "Third, we should strip out the sweetheart deals that make lobbyists and insiders rich, and give the country a tax code that amkes Americans richer....
We need to shut down special loopholes and abusive tax shelters, collect the taxes that are owed, and use the savings to pay down the deficit and cut taxes for hardworking families.
We should repeal the billions of dollars in corporate tax giveaways passed only last year...on everything from dog tracks to railroad tracks."

#4 - Eliminate Excessive Corporate Tax Benefits for Overseas Work: "Not only do we rarely tax overseas income from US companies--we often given them an extra $78 billion in tax breaks.
Our tax laws actually support the outsourcing of millions of jobs. That's wrong and Americans want us to get this right.
We need to crack down on tax havens, small countries that attract business by helping foreigners and corporations avoid their taxes in the US."

#5 - End CEO Abuse of Golden Parachutes and Excess Pensions: "...we have seen how when corporations fail, ordinary workers lose their pensions but some CEOs walked away with golden parachutes...The Financial times calls this group 'the barons of bankruptcy.'We must end the abuse of the tax advantage of executive pensions."

#6 - Make Our Tax Code Work for Working People: "Today, 25% of working families are living on the edge of poverty. They have so little in the bank, they can't survive more than 3 months if something happens to their income....
Savings incentives...would not just be good for families, they'd be good for the economy, too.... Using our tax code to encourage asset-building is one way to fight poverty."

Sixty year-old former teacher and Air Force Veteran John Nirenberg to complete 500 mile Impeachment March from Boston to Washington, DC with rally at National Archives on Saturday January 12 at 12:30 PM.
Somewhere on the desk of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lies a letter that begins:
"Dear Speaker Pelosi:My name is John Nirenberg. I left Boston on December 1st and am currently on my way to your office, walking the entire distance, hoping to meet with you in early January." On Saturday, January 12, the sixty year-old former American History teacher, college dean, and Air Force veteran will complete his 500 mile walk from Boston to Washington; a "pilgrimage" as he puts it, which he hopes to conclude with a conversation with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi about impeachment.
In a video on his home page, http://www.marchinmyname.org Nirenberg looks every bit the professor, wearing wire rimmed glasses, sitting on a desk in front of a wall hung with political posters from the past thirty years. Describing himself as a non-activist, “life-long servant of the establishment” and “believer in the system,” he goes on to list impeachable offenses by President Bush and Vice President Cheney, such as conducting illegal wiretaps, condoning torture, and using presidential signing statements to undermine Congress’ legislative powers.
On his march down U.S Route 1, Nirenberg says that he has encountered far more supporters than opponents, estimating that he has seen about “ninety percent thumbs versus ten percent middle fingers up.” He has also encountered counter demonstrators, an impeachment opponent who stole his sign in Pennsylvania, and seventeen mile walks while enduring severe blisters and “screaming aches and pains” that required him to wear knee braces.
Why has Nirenberg chosen to spend his retirement savings this way? Because, as he explains to Speaker Pelosi in his letter, the stakes are high:
If Congress does not utilize the Constitutional remedy of impeachment, which was designed for precisely this kind of situation, how can Bush and Cheney be held accountable for any of their lies and crimes? If Congress does not open impeachment hearings, if no act of censure is introduced, then the courts, the people, and history will clearly assume that Congress approved of the entire spectrum of illegal acts, abuses, and immorality perpetrated by this administration.
Supporters are encouraged to join him for the final few miles of his walk, which will end with a 12:30 pm rally in front of the National Archives, home of the U.S. constitution. Those who plan to walk six miles will gather at 9:00 am at the National Arboretum, and those who want to walk about a mile to the National Archives will gather at 11:30 am in front of Union Station. I'm ashamed in one way of not supporting Dennis Kucinich more strongly. It's totally the fault of John Edwards' hold on me.

Anyway, Dennis called for a recount of New Hampshire.

Because it is pretty obvious that the votes were WEIRD and unexpected.

Exit polls are never wrong, yet they predicted that Gore would win Florida in 2000, that Kerry would win Ohio in 2004, and that Obama would win New Hampshire last week. What's the variable that ties all of these anomalies together? Diebold.

Only 20% of New Hampshire's primary ballots were counted by hand. The other 80% were counted exclusively by Diebold machines. Obama secured his predicted lead on the hand-counted ballots, but Diebold-counted ballots ended up giving the lead to Hillary. Stalin once said, "The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything." Or was it John Kerry who said that after he conceded the 2004 election? Well whoever said it, it's Kucinich who has had the courage above his slighted contenders to request that the New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner recount Tuesday's election.

It's clear from Disney's lock out of Kucinich from the previous debates that corporations have too much control over our electoral process. Government is supposed to check private power, but when the so-called top-tier candidates are owned by this Mickey Mouse operation, there is no accountability. Hate Crimes: Edwards supports expanding federal Hate Crimes Law to include sexual orientation. John Edwards says, "Everyone is entitled to live in dignity without fear of violence." While in office, John Edwards co-sponsored legislation to give law enforcement agencies the tools they need to investigate and prosecute hate crimes.
Same-Sex Marriage: Edwards opposes same-sex marriage, but he does not think the Constitution should be amended to define marriage as between a man and a woman. He supports civil unions.
On 2/24/04 Edwards said in response to President Bush's proposed Constitutional amendment, "I am against the president's constitutional amendment on gay marriage...I don't personally support gay marriage myself. My position has always been that it's for the states to decide."

Okay, tell me if this sounds mercenary. I'm leaving out names and identities for now, and even some words to protect those who frankly don't deserve protection but having never been a RAT (like some) I just don't feel good about spilling people's filthy sides of their lives onto the WWW...

However -- (you knew this was coming, right??) -- I'm willing to disclose same for a fee. In fact, I'm going to disclose some of this in a book which will definitely be for sale very soon but if you'd like to know if your name or some similar aspect that identifies your smarmy and illegal acts towards me and my family have been mentioned I'd be happy to negotiate a fee with you. For the record, save your pennies if I've known you longer than thirty years. Out of respect for you and your family I'll leave your names out.
