Tom Lyons rips Radzilowski's cover off

I don't know if any of you are keeping up with the story of the MISSING WITNESS also referred to as a 'prostitute and drug-user'in Bradenton FL. Dawn Marie Gibson.

AND the chief Radzilowski covered it up for FIVE WEEKS. FIVE WEEKS. We don't need internal affairs. When a cop is bad that should be
PUBLIC AFFAIRS and not done by cops -- done by citizens NOT CHOSEN by the PTB.

First of all, she's never been convicted of being a liar. Something about that story caught my eye and then I see parallels to what happens everywhere when a citizen tries to expose the wrong doing and criminal antics of law enforcement. First they arrest in reprisal and then they 'make it go away.'

I gotta say this: Her family DESERVES BETTER. The fucking Manatee sheriff's dept won't take a missing person's report because of her history when her mother states emphatically that Dawn Marie is NEVER out of touch.

Myself, I'm not thinking that Dawn Marie's life is a good trade off for the redemption of a few criminal scum LEO's who encouraged her lifestyle. If you want prostitution to be a crime and if a known drug user is susceptible and a cop provides her with drugs and has sex with her --- and also promises she will never be arrested -- WHAT about that is not a criminal act by the COP ???

THEN, Tom Lyons of the Bradenton Herald stepped into my line of vision. Apparently, he's unwilling to let it go, either. Good for him. Seems that Chief Radzilowski whom you might remember from the shopping cart incident -- His officer rolled a shopping cart full of a homeless woman's belongings back to the jail and the Chief leaped to suspend and dock him. I got an email from the Chief after I objected strenuously to this behavior on the part of the Chief. (departmental policy and such, you know)

BUT, let his boys be caught literally WITH THEIR PANTS down and he leaps to their defense. Says that several things that Dawn Marie, the missing witness states have (already) been disproven. How?? By whom? He doesn't mention. LOL. Damn, that was quick. NO investigation or such --- just the disproving.


According to Chief Radzi (upon questioning by Tom Lyons) Bradenton's police chief led reporters here to believe no smutty cop behavior was under investigation when two officers resigned for "personal reasons."

Nothing to see here, folks.

And, from Robert Napper Bradenton Herald: "I have been told by our investigators that some of her allegations have been disproved thus far," said Radzilowski. "I will not and have not said anything has been found to be true yet. This is still an open investigation."

Gibson says the officers wanted her to become a confidential informant. When she refused, she says the officers followed her throughout Bradenton and eventually wanted to exchange money, drugs and protection for sex.

Officer Larry Pritchett resigned one day after Gibson was given a lie detector test by internal affairs detectives. Two days later, Officer William Anderson also quit. In June, Detective Pete Biddlecome also resigned.

None of the three have commented publicly since the sudden departures.

Gibson’s family, meanwhile, says that she has not been seen since Friday, and they worry that “something awful has happened to her because of this.”

Gibson claimed that the officers warned her not to talk about the relationships.

When she left jail last week, Gibson said that a strange car began following her throughout town and was parked outside the family’s home in Oneco.

Gibson, 30, left Friday night to visit with friends and has not called her family since.
